| 6 | Ayant dit ces choses, il cracha en terre et fit de la boue de son crachat, et mit la boue comme un onguent sur ses yeux, | When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, | Dopo aver detto queste cose, sputò in terra, con la saliva fece del fango e ne impiastrò gli occhi del cieco. |
| 7 | et lui dit: Va, et lave-toi au réservoir de Siloé (ce qui interprété Envoyé). Il s'en alla donc, et se lava, et revint voyant. | And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. | Poi gli disse: Va', lavati nella piscina di Siloe (che significa: "Mandato"); egli dunque vi andò, si lavò e ritornò che ci vedeva. |
| 8 | Les voisins donc, et ceux qui, l'ayant vu auparavant, savaient qu'il était mendiant, dirent: N'est-ce pas celui qui était assis et qui mendiait? | The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? | Allora i vicini e quelli che lo avevano visto prima cieco, dissero: Non è questi colui che stava seduto a mendicare?. |
| 9 | Quelques-uns disaient: C'est lui. D'autres disaient: Non, mais il lui ressemble. | Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he. | Alcuni dicevano: e' lui. Altri: Gli assomiglia. Ed egli diceva: Io sono. |
| 10 | Lui dit: C'est moi-même. Ils lui dirent donc: Comment ont été ouverts tes yeux? | Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened? | Gli dissero dunque: Come ti sono stati aperti gli occhi?. |
| 11 | Il répondit et dit: Un homme, appelé Jésus, fit de la boue et oignit mes yeux, et me dit: Va à Siloé et lave-toi. Et je m'en suis allé, et je me suis lavé, et j'ai vu. | He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight. | Egli rispose e disse: Un uomo, chiamato Gesù, ha fatto del fango, mi ha spalmato gli occhi e mi ha detto: "Va' alla piscina di Siloe e lavati". Ed io vi sono andato, mi sono lavato e ho recuperato la vista. |
| 12 | Ils lui dirent donc: Où est cet homme? Il dit: Je ne sais. | Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not. | E quelli gli dissero: Dov'è costui?. Egli rispose: Non lo so. |
| 13 | Ils amenèrent aux pharisiens celui qui auparavant avait été aveugle. | They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind. | Allora essi condussero dai farisei colui che prima era stato cieco. |
| 14 | Or c'était un jour de sabbat que Jésus fit la boue, et qu'il ouvrit ses yeux. | And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes. | Ora era sabato quando Gesù fece del fango e gli aperse gli occhi. |
| 15 | Les pharisiens donc aussi lui demandèrent encore comment il avait recouvré la vue. Et il leur dit: Il a mis de la boue sur mes yeux, et je me suis lavé, et je vois. | Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see. | Anche i farisei dunque gli domandarono di nuovo come avesse recuperato la vista. Ed egli disse loro: Mi ha messo del fango sugli occhi, mi sono lavato e ci vedo. |
| 16 | Quelques-uns donc d'entre les pharisiens dirent: Cet homme n'est pas de Dieu, car il ne garde pas le sabbat. D'autres disaient: Comment un homme pécheur peut-il faire de tels miracles? Et il y avait de la division entre eux. | Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them. | Allora alcuni farisei dicevano: Quest'uomo non è da Dio, perché non osserva il sabato. Altri dicevano: Come può un uomo peccatore compiere tali segni?. E c'era divisione tra di loro. |
| 17 | Ils disent donc encore à l'aveugle: Toi, que dis-tu de lui, sur ce qu'il t'a ouvert les yeux? Et il dit: C'est un prophète. | They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet. | Chiesero dunque di nuovo al cieco: E tu, che dici di lui per il fatto che ti ha aperto gli occhi?. Egli disse: e' un profeta!. |
| 18 | Les Juifs donc ne crurent pas qu'il avait été aveugle et qu'il avait recouvré la vue, jusqu'à ce qu'ils eussent appelé les parents de celui qui avait recouvré la vue. | But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight. | Ma i Giudei non credettero che lui fosse stato cieco e avesse riacquistato la vista, finché ebbero chiamato i genitori di colui che aveva riacquistato la vista. |
| 19 | Et ils les interrogèrent, disant: Celui-ci est-il votre fils, que vous dites être né aveugle? Comment donc voit-il maintenant? | And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see? | E chiesero loro: e' questo il vostro figlio che voi dite esser nato cieco? Come mai ora ci vede?. |
| 20 | Ses parents leur répondirent et dirent: Nous savons que celui-ci est notre fils, et qu'il est né aveugle; | His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind: | I suoi genitori, rispondendo loro dissero: Noi sappiamo che costui è nostro figlio e che è nato cieco, |
| 21 | mais comment il voit maintenant, nous ne le savons pas; et qui lui a ouvert les yeux, nous ne le savons pas, nous; il a de l'âge, interrogez-le, il parlera de ce qui le concerne. | But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself. | ma come ora ci veda, o chi gli abbia aperto gli occhi, noi non lo sappiamo domandatelo a lui; egli è adulto, parlerà lui stesso di sé. |
| 22 | Ses parents dirent ces choses, parce qu'ils craignaient les Juifs; car les Juifs étaient déjà convenus que si quelqu'un le confessait comme le Christ, il serait exclu de la synagogue. | These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue. | Questo dissero i suoi genitori, perché avevano paura dei Giudei; infatti i Giudei avevano già stabilito che se uno avesse riconosciuto Gesù come il Cristo, sarebbe stato espulso dalla sinagoga. |
| 23 | C'est pourquoi ses parents dirent: Il a de l'âge, interrogez-le. | Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him. | Perciò i suoi genitori dissero: e' adulto, chiedetelo a lui. |
| 24 | Ils appelèrent donc, pour la seconde fois, l'homme qui avait été aveugle, et lui dirent: Donne gloire à Dieu; nous savons que cet homme est un pécheur. | Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner. | Essi dunque chiamarono di nuovo l'uomo che era stato cieco e gli dissero: Da' gloria a Dio; noi sappiamo che quest'uomo è peccatore. |
| 25 | Il répondit donc: S'il est un pécheur, je ne sais; je sais une chose, c'est que j'étais aveugle, et que maintenant je vois. | He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. | Egli allora rispose e disse: Se sia peccatore, non lo so; ma una cosa so, che prima ero cieco e ora ci vedo. |
| 26 | Et ils lui dirent encore: Que t'a-t-il fait? Comment a-t-il ouvert tes yeux? | Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes? | Gli chiesero di nuovo: Che cosa ti ha fatto? Come ti ha aperto gli occhi?. |
| 27 | Il leur répondit: Je vous l'ai déjà dit, et vous n'avez pas écouté. Pourquoi voulez-vous encore l'entendre? Voulez-vous aussi, vous, devenir ses disciples? | He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples? | Egli rispose loro: Io ve l'ho già detto e voi non avete ascoltato, perché volete udirlo di nuovo? Volete forse diventare anche voi suoi discepoli?. |
| 28 | Ils l'injurièrent et dirent: Toi, tu es le disciple de celui-là; mais nous, nous sommes disciples de Moïse. | Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses' disciples. | Essi perciò l'ingiuriarono e dissero: Tu sei suo discepolo; ma noi siamo discepoli di Mosè. |
| 29 | Pour nous, nous savons que Dieu a parlé à Moïse; mais, pour celui-ci, nous ne savons d'où il est. | We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is. | Noi sappiamo che Dio ha parlato a Mosè, ma quanto a costui non sappiamo da dove venga. |
| 30 | L'homme répondit et leur dit: En ceci pourtant il y a une chose étrange, que vous ne sachiez pas d'où il est, et il a ouvert mes yeux. | The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes. | Quell'uomo rispose e disse loro: Ebbene, è molto strano che voi non sappiate da dove venga; eppure egli mi ha aperto gli occhi. |
| 31 | Or, nous savons que Dieu n'écoute pas les pécheurs; mais si quelqu'un est pieux envers Dieu et fait sa volonté, celui-là il l'écoute. | Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. | Or noi sappiamo che Dio non esaudisce i peccatori, ma se uno è pio verso Dio e fa la sua volontà, egli lo esaudisce. |
| 32 | Jamais on n'ouït dire que quelqu'un ait ouvert les yeux d'un aveugle-né. | Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. | Da che mondo è mondo non si è mai sentito dire che uno abbia aperto gli occhi ad un cieco nato. |
| 33 | Si celui-ci n'était pas de Dieu, il ne pourrait rien faire. | If this man were not of God, he could do nothing. | Se costui non fosse da Dio, non avrebbe potuto fare nulla. |
| 34 | Ils répondirent et lui dirent: Tu es entièrement né dans le péché, et tu nous enseignes! Et il le chassèrent dehors. | They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out. | Essi risposero e gli dissero: Tu sei nato completamente nei peccati e vuoi insegnare a noi?. E lo cacciarono fuori. |
| 35 | Jésus apprit qu'ils l'avaient chassé dehors, et l'ayant trouvé, il lui dit: Crois-tu au Fils de Dieu? | Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? | Gesù seppe che l'avevano cacciato fuori e, trovatolo, gli disse: Credi tu nel Figlio di Dio?. |
| 36 | Il répondit et dit: Qui est-il, Seigneur, afin que je croie en lui? | He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? | Egli rispose e disse: Chi è, Signore, perché io creda in lui?. |
| 37 | Et Jésus lui dit: Et tu l'as vu, et celui qui te parle, c'est lui. | And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. | E Gesù gli disse: Tu l'hai visto, è proprio colui che ti sta parlando |
| 38 | Et il dit: Je crois, Seigneur! Et il lui rendit hommage. | And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. | Allora egli disse: lo credo, Signore; e l'adorò. |
| 39 | Et Jésus dit: Moi, je suis venu dans ce monde pour le jugement, afin que ceux qui ne voient pas, voient; et que ceux qui voient deviennent aveugles. | And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. | Poi Gesù disse: lo sono venuto in questo mondo per fare un giudizio, affinché quelli che non vedono vedano e quelli che vedono diventino ciechi. |
| 40 | Et quelques-uns d'entre les pharisiens qui étaient avec lui entendirent ces choses, et lui dirent: Et nous, sommes-nous aussi aveugles? | And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? | Alcuni dei farisei che erano con lui udirono queste cose e gli dissero: Siamo ciechi anche noi?. |
| 41 | Jésus leur dit: Si vous étiez aveugles, vous n'auriez pas de péché; mais maintenant vous dites: Nous voyons! - votre péché demeure. | Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth. | Gesù rispose loro: Se foste ciechi, non avreste alcun peccato; ma siccome dite: "Noi vediamo perciò il vostro peccato rimane. |
