| 11 | Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he? | Les Juifs donc le cherchaient pendant la fête, et disaient: Où est-il? | I Giudei dunque lo cercavano durante la festa e dicevano: Dov'è quel tale?. |
| 12 | And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people. | Et il y avait une grande rumeur à son sujet parmi le peuple. Les uns disaient: C'est un homme de bien; et les autres disaient: Non, mais il séduit le peuple. | Fra le folle si faceva un gran parlottare intorno a lui; gli uni dicevano: Egli è un uomo dabbene!. Altri dicevano: No, anzi egli inganna la folla. |
| 13 | Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews. | Toutefois, personne ne parlait librement de lui, par crainte des Juifs. | Nessuno però parlava di lui apertamente, per timore dei Giudei. |
| 14 | Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught. | Vers le milieu de la fête, Jésus monta au temple, et il enseignait. | Ma, verso la metà della festa, Gesù salì al tempio e incominciò a insegnare. |
| 15 | And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? | Et les Juifs étaient étonnés, et disaient: Comment cet homme connaît-il les Écritures, ne les ayant point apprises | E i Giudei si meravigliavano e dicevano: Come mai costui sa di lettere, senza aver fatto studi?. |
| 16 | Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. | Jésus leur répondit: Ma doctrine n'est pas de moi, mais de celui qui m'a envoyé. | Gesù allora rispose loro e disse: La mia dottrina non è mia, ma di colui che mi ha mandato. |
| 17 | If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. | Si quelqu'un veut faire la volonté de Dieu, il connaîtra si ma doctrine est de Dieu, ou si je parle de moi-même. | Se qualcuno vuol fare la sua volontà, conoscerà se questa dottrina viene da Dio, oppure se io parlo da me stesso. |
| 18 | He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. | Celui qui parle de soi-même cherche sa propre gloire; mais celui qui cherche la gloire de celui qui l'a envoyé, est digne de foi, et il n'y a point d'injustice en lui. | Chi parla da se stesso cerca la sua propria gloria, ma chi cerca la gloria di colui che l'ha mandato è verace, e in lui non vi è ingiustizia. |

| 21 | Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel. | Jésus répondit et leur dit: J'ai fait une oeuvre, et vous en êtes tous étonnés. | Gesù replicò e disse loro: Io ho fatto un'opera e ne siete tutti meravigliati. |
| 22 | Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man. | Moïse vous a donné ainsi la circoncision, non qu'elle vienne de Moïse, mais des pères, et vous circoncisez un homme le jour du sabbat. | Ora Mosè vi ha dato la circoncisione, (non già che essa provenga da Mosè, ma dai padri); e voi circoncidete un uomo di sabato. |

| 24 | Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. | Ne jugez point selon l'apparence, mais jugez selon la justice. | Non giudicate secondo l'apparenza ma giudicate secondo giustizia. |
| 25 | Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill? | Et quelques-uns de ceux de Jérusalem disaient: N'est-ce pas celui qu'on cherche à faire mourir? | Allora alcuni di Gerusalemme dicevano: Non è questi colui che cercano di uccidere? |
| 26 | But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ? | Et le voilà qui parle librement, et on ne lui dit rien. Les chefs auraient-ils vraiment reconnu qu'il est véritablement le Christ? | Eppure, ecco, egli parla liberamente e non gli dicono nulla; hanno i capi riconosciuto davvero che egli è il Cristo? |
| 27 | Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is. | Cependant nous savons d'où il est; au lieu que, quand le Christ viendra, personne ne saura d'où il est. | Ma noi sappiamo di dove sia costui; invece quando il Cristo verrà, nessuno saprà di dove egli sia. |
| 28 | Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. | Et Jésus s'écriait donc dans le temple, enseignant, et disant: Vous me connaissez, et vous savez d'où je suis. | 30 | Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come. | Ils cherchaient donc à se saisir de lui; mais personne ne mit la main sur lui, parce que son heure n'était pas encore venue. | Perciò cercavano di prenderlo, ma nessuno gli mise le mani addosso, perché la sua ora non era ancora venuta. |
| 31 | And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done? | Cependant, plusieurs du peuple crurent en lui, et disaient: Quand le Christ viendra, fera-t-il plus de miracles que n'en fait celui-ci? | Ma molti della folla credettero in lui e dicevano: Il Cristo, quando verrà, farà più segni di quanti ne abbia fatti costui?. |
| 32 | The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him. | Les pharisiens, ayant appris ce que le peuple disait sourdement de lui, envoyèrent, de concert avec les principaux sacrificateurs, des officiers pour se saisir de lui. | I farisei udirono che la folla sussurrava queste cose a suo riguardo; perciò i farisei e i capi dei sacerdoti mandarono delle guardie per prenderlo. |
| 33 | Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. | C'est pourquoi Jésus leur dit: JE SUIS encore avec vous pour un peu de temps; et je m'en vais à celui qui m'a envoyé. | Allora Gesù disse loro: Io sono con voi ancora per poco tempo; poi me ne andrò da colui che mi ha mandato. |
| 34 | Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come. | Vous me chercherez, et vous ne me trouverez point, et vous ne pourrez venir où je suis. | Voi mi cercherete e non mi troverete; e dove sarò io, voi non potete venire. |
| 35 | Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles? | Les Juifs dirent donc entre eux: Où ira-t-il que nous ne le trouverons point? Ira-t-il vers ceux qui sont dispersés parmi les Grecs, et enseignera-t-il les Grecs? | Dicevano perciò i Giudei tra loro: Dove sta egli per andare che noi non lo troveremo? Andrà forse da quelli che sono dispersi fra i Greci, e ad insegnare ai Greci? |
| 36 | What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come? | Que signifie ce qu'il a dit: Vous me chercherez, et ne me trouverez point, et vous ne pourrez venir où je suis? | Cosa voleva dire quando disse: "Voi mi cercherete e non mi troverete"; e: "Dove sarò io, voi non potete venire"?. |
| 37 | In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. | Le dernier et le grand jour de la fête, Jésus se trouvait là, et s'écriait: Si quelqu'un a soif, qu'il vienne à moi, et qu'il boive. | Or nell'ultimo giorno, il grande giorno della festa, Gesù si alzò in piedi ed esclamò dicendo: Se qualcuno ha sete, venga a me e beva. |

| 41 | Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee? | D'autres disaient: C'est le Christ. Et d'autres disaient: Mais le Christ vient-il de Galilée? | Altri dicevano: Costui è il Cristo. Alcuni invece dicevano: Viene forse il Cristo dalla Galilea? |
| 42 | Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was? | L'Écriture ne dit-elle pas que le Christ sort de la postérité de David, et du village de Bethléhem d'où était David | Non dice la Scrittura che il Cristo viene dalla progenie di Davide e da Betlemme, villaggio dove viveva Davide?. |

| 45 | Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him? | Les officiers retournèrent donc vers les principaux sacrificateurs et les pharisiens, qui leur dirent: Pourquoi ne l'avez-vous pas amené? | Le guardie tornarono quindi dai capi dei sacerdoti e dai farisei, e questi dissero loro: Perché non l'avete portato?. |
| 46 | The officers answered, Never man spake like this man. | Les officiers répondirent: Jamais homme n'a parlé comme cet homme! | Le guardie risposero: Nessun uomo ha mai parlato come costui. |
| 47 | Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived? | Les pharisiens leur dirent: Avez-vous aussi été séduits? | Perciò i farisei risposero loro: Siete stati sedotti anche voi? |
| 48 | Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him? | Y a-t-il quelqu'un des chefs ou des pharisiens qui ait cru en lui? | Ha qualcuno dei capi o dei farisei creduto in lui? |

| 51 | Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth? | Notre loi condamne-t-elle un homme sans l'avoir entendu auparavant, et sans savoir ce qu'il a fait? | La nostra legge condanna forse un uomo prima di averlo ascoltato e di sapere ciò che egli ha fatto?. |
| 52 | They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet. | Ils lui répondirent: Es-tu aussi Galiléen? Examine, et vois qu'aucun prophète n'est sorti de la Galilée. | Essi risposero e gli dissero: Sei forse anche tu Galileo? Ricerca le Scritture e vedrai che dalla Galilea non sorse mai alcun profeta. |
