10	Jésus lui répondit : Si tu connaissais le don de Dieu et qui est celui qui te dit : Donne-moi à boire ! tu lui aurais toi-même demandé à boire, et il t'aurait donné de l'eau vive. 20	Nos pères ont adoré sur cette montagne ; et vous dites, vous, que le lieu où il faut adorer est à Jérusalem. 21	Femme, lui dit Jésus, crois-moi, l'heure vient où ce ne sera ni sur cette montagne ni à Jérusalem que vous adorerez le Père. 22	Vous adorez ce que vous ne connaissez pas ; nous, nous adorons ce que nous connaissons, car le salut vient des Juifs.	Vous, vous adorez, vous ne savez quoi; nous, nous savons ce que nous adorons; car le salut vient des Juifs.	Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.	Ye worship that which ye know not: we worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.
23	Mais l'heure vient, et elle est déjà venue, où les vrais adorateurs adoreront le Père en esprit et en vérité ; car ce sont là les adorateurs que le Père demande.	Mais l'heure vient, et elle est maintenant, que les vrais adorateurs adoreront le Père en esprit et en vérité; car aussi le Père en cherche de tels qui l'adorent.	But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 25	La femme lui dit : Je sais que le Messie doit venir (celui qu'on appelle Christ) ; quand il sera venu, il nous annoncera toutes choses.	La femme lui dit: Je sais que le Messie qui est appelé le Christ, vient; quand celui-là sera venu, il nous fera connaître toutes choses.	The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 27	Là-dessus arrivèrent ses disciples, qui furent étonnés de ce qu'il parlait avec une femme. Toutefois aucun ne dit : Que demandes-tu ? ou : De quoi parles-tu avec elle ?	Et là-dessus ses disciples vinrent; et ils s'étonnaient de ce qu'il parlait avec une femme; toutefois nul ne dit: Que lui demandes-tu? ou, de quoi parles-tu avec elle?	And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?	And upon this came his disciples; and they marvelled that he was speaking with a woman; yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why speakest thou with her?
28	Alors la femme, ayant laissé sa cruche, s'en alla dans la ville, et dit aux gens :	La femme donc laissa sa cruche et s'en alla à la ville, et dit aux hommes:	The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,	So the woman left her waterpot, and went away into the city, and saith to the people,
29	Venez voir un homme qui m'a dit tout ce que j'ai fait ; ne serait-ce point le Christ ?	voyez un homme qui m'a dit tout ce que j'ai fait; celui-ci n'est-il point le Christ?	Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?	Come, see a man, who told me all things that [ever] I did: can this be the Christ?
30	Ils sortirent de la ville, et ils vinrent vers lui.	Ils sortirent de la ville, et ils venaient vers lui.	Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.	They went out of the city, and were coming to him.

33	Les disciples se disaient donc les uns aux autres : Quelqu'un lui aurait-il apporté à manger ?	Les disciples donc dirent entre eux: Quelqu'un lui aurait-il apporté à manger? 34	Jésus leur dit : Ma nourriture est de faire la volonté de celui qui m'a envoyé, et d'accomplir son oeuvre. 35	Ne dites-vous pas qu'il y a encore quatre mois jusqu'à la moisson ? Voici, je vous le dis, levez les yeux, et regardez les champs qui déjà blanchissent pour la moisson.	Ne dites-vous pas, vous: Il y a encore quatre mois, et la moisson vient? Voici, je vous dis: Levez vos yeux et regardez les campagnes; car elles sont déjà blanches pour la moisson.	Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36	Celui qui moissonne reçoit un salaire, et amasse des fruits pour la vie éternelle, afin que celui qui sème et celui qui moissonne se réjouissent ensemble. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37	Car en ceci ce qu'on dit est vrai : Autre est celui qui sème, et autre celui qui moissonne.	Car en ceci est vérifiée la vraie parole: L'un sème, et un autre moissonne.	And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.	For herein is the saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
38	Je vous ai envoyés moissonner ce que vous n'avez pas travaillé ; d'autres ont travaillé, et vous êtes entrés dans leur travail.	Moi je vous ai envoyés moissonner ce à quoi vous n'avez pas travaillé; d'autres ont travaillé, et vous, vous êtes entrés dans leur travail.	I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours. 39	Plusieurs Samaritains de cette ville crurent en Jésus à cause de cette déclaration formelle de la femme : Il m'a dit tout ce que j'ai fait.	Or plusieurs des Samaritains de cette ville-là crurent en lui, à cause de la parole de la femme qui avait rendu témoignage: Il m'a dit tout ce que j'ai fait.	And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.	And from that city many of the Samaritans believed on him because of the word of the woman, who testified, He told me all things that [ever] I did.
