| 3 | Et le vin étant venu à manquer, la mère de Jésus lui dit: Ils n'ont pas de vin. | And when the wine failed, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. | Essendo venuto a mancare il vino, la madre di Gesù gli disse: Non hanno più vino. |
| 4 | Jésus lui dit: Qu'y a-t-il entre moi et toi, femme? Mon heure n'est pas encore venue. | And Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. | Gesù le disse: Che cosa c'è tra te e me o donna? l'ora mia non è ancora venuta, |
| 5 | Sa mère dit aux serviteurs: Faites tout ce qu'il vous dira. | His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. | Sua madre disse ai servi: Fate tutto quello che egli vi dirà. |
| 6 | Or il y avait là six vaisseaux de pierre, pour tenir de l'eau, placés là selon l'usage de la purification des Juifs, pouvant recevoir chacun deux ou trois mesures. | Now there were six waterpots of stone set there after the Jews` manner of purifying, containing two or three firkins apiece. | Or c'erano là sei recipienti di pietra, usati per la purificazione dei Giudei, che contenevano due o tre misure ciascuno. |
| 7 | Jésus leur dit: Emplissez d'eau les vaisseaux. Et ils les emplirent jusqu'au haut. | Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. | Gesù disse loro: Riempite d'acqua i recipienti. Ed essi li riempirono fino all'orlo. |

| 9 | Mais lorsque le maître d'hôtel eut goûté l'eau qui était devenue du vin, et qu'il ne savait point d'où celui-ci venait (mais les serviteurs qui avaient puisé l'eau le savaient), le maître d'hôtel appelle l'époux, | And when the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and knew not whence it was (but the servants that had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast calleth the bridegroom, | E come il maestro della festa assaggiò l'acqua mutata in vino (or egli non sapeva da dove venisse quel vino, ma ben lo sapevano i servi che avevano attinto l'acqua), il maestro della festa chiamò lo sposo, |
| 10 | et lui dit: Tout homme sert le bon vin le premier, et puis le moindre, après qu'on a bien bu; toi, tu as gardé le bon vin jusqu'à maintenant. | and saith unto him, Every man setteth on first the good wine; and when [men] have drunk freely, [then] that which is worse: thou hast kept the good wine until now. | e gli disse: Ogni uomo presenta all'inizio il vino migliore e, dopo che gli invitati hanno copiosamente bevuto, il meno buono; tu, invece, hai conservato il buon vino fino ad ora. |

| 13 | Et la Pâque des Juifs était proche, et Jésus monta à Jérusalem. | And the passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. | Or la Pasqua dei Giudei era vicina, e Gesù salì a Gerusalemme. |
| 14 | Et il trouva dans le temple les vendeurs de boeufs et de brebis et de colombes, et les changeurs qui y étaient assis. | And he found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: | E trovò nel tempio venditori di buoi, di pecore, di colombi, e i cambiamonete seduti; |
| 15 | Et ayant fait un fouet de cordes, il les chassa tous hors du temple, et les brebis et les boeufs; et il répandit la monnaie des changeurs et renversa les tables. | and he made a scourge of cords, and cast all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers` money, and overthrew their tables; | fatta quindi una frusta di cordicelle, li scacciò tutti fuori del tempio insieme con i buoi e le pecore, e sparpagliò il denaro dei cambiamonete e ne rovesciò le tavole, |
| 16 | Et il dit à ceux qui vendaient les colombes: Otez ces choses d'ici; ne faites pas de la maison de mon Père une maison de trafic. | and to them that sold the doves he said, Take these things hence; make not my Father`s house a house of merchandise. | e ai venditori di colombi disse: Portate via da qui queste cose; non fate della casa del Padre mio una casa di mercato. |
| 17 | Et ses disciples se souvinrent qu'il est écrit: "Le zèle de ta maison me dévore". | His disciples remembered that it was written, Zeal for thy house shall eat me up. | Così i suoi discepoli si ricordarono che stava scritto: Lo zelo della tua casa mi ha divorato. |
| 18 | Les Juifs donc répondirent et lui dirent: Quel miracle nous montres-tu, que tu fasses ces choses? | The Jews therefore answered and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? | Allora i Giudei risposero e gli dissero: Quale segno ci mostri per fare queste cose?. |
| 19 | Jésus répondit et leur dit: Détruisez ce temple, et en trois jours je le relèverai. | Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. | Gesù rispose e disse loro: Distruggete questo tempio e in tre giorni io lo ricostruirò. |
| 20 | Juifs donc dirent: On a été quarante-six ans à bâtir ce temple, et toi, tu le relèveras en trois jours! | The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days? | Allora i Giudei dissero: Ci son voluti quarantasei anni per edificare questo tempio, e tu lo ricostruiresti in tre giorni?. |
| 21 | Mais lui parlait du temple de son corps. | But he spake of the temple of his body. | Ma egli parlava del tempio del suo corpo. |
| 22 | Lors donc qu'il fut ressuscité d'entre les morts, ses disciples se souvinrent qu'il avait dit cela; et ils crurent à l'écriture, et à la parole que Jésus avait dite. | When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he spake this; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said. | Quando poi egli fu risuscitato dai morti, i suoi discepoli si ricordarono che egli aveva loro detto questo e credettero alla Scrittura e alle parole che Gesù aveva detto. |

| 25 | et qu'il n'avait pas besoin que quelqu'un rendit témoignage de l'homme; car lui-même connaissait ce qui était dans l'homme. | and because he needed not that any one should bear witness concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man. | e perché non aveva bisogno che alcuno gli testimoniasse dell'uomo, perché egli conosceva ciò che vi era nell'uomo.
