In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.Nel principio era la Parola e la Parola era presso Dio, e la Parola era Dio.
Elle était au commencement avec Dieu.The same was in the beginning with God.The same was in the beginning with God.Egli (la Parola) era nel principio con Dio.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.All things were made through him; and without him was not anything made that hath been made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness apprehended it not.E la luce risplende nelle tenebre e le tenebre non l'hanno compresa.
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.There came a man, sent from God, whose name was John.
Il vint pour servir de témoin, pour rendre témoignage à la lumière, afin que tous crussent par lui.The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.The same came for witness, that he might bear witness of the light, that all might believe through him.Questi venne come testimone per rendere testimonianza alla luce, affinché tutti credessero per mezzo di lui;
He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.He was not the light, but [came] that he might bear witness of the light.egli non era la luce, ma fu mandato per rendere testimonianza della luce.
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.There was the true light, [even the light] which lighteth every man, coming into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world knew him not.
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.He came unto his own, and they that were his own received him not.
Mais à tous ceux qui l'ont reçue, à ceux qui croient en son nom, elle a donné le pouvoir de devenir enfants de Dieu, lesquels sont nés,But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:ma a tutti coloro che lo hanno ricevuto, egli ha dato l'autorità di diventare figli di Dio, a quelli cioè che credono nel suo nome,
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.i quali non sono nati da sangue né da volontà di carne, né da volontà di uomo, ma sono nati da Dio.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.E la Parola si è fatta carne ed ha abitato fra di noi, e noi abbiamo contemplato la sua gloria, come gloria dell'unigenito proceduto dal Padre, piena di grazia e di verità.
John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.John beareth witness of him, and crieth, saying, This was he of whom I said, He that cometh after me is become before me: for he was before me.Giovanni testimoniò di lui e gridò, dicendo: Questi è colui del quale dicevo: Colui che viene dopo di me mi ha preceduto, perché era prima di me.
And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.For of his fulness we all received, and grace for grace.E noi tutti abbiamo ricevuto dalla sua pienezza grazia sopra grazia.
For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him].Nessuno ha mai visto Dio; l'unigenito Figlio, che è nel seno del Padre, è colui che lo ha fatto conoscere.
And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?And this is the witness of John, when the Jews sent unto him from Jerusalem priests and Levites to ask him, Who art thou?E questa è la testimonianza di Giovanni, quando i Giudei gli inviarono da Gerusalemme dei sacerdoti e dei leviti per domandargli: Chi sei tu?.
And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.And he confessed, and denied not; and he confessed, I am not the Christ.
Et il répondit : Non.And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elijah? And he saith, I am not. Art thou the prophet? And he answered, No.Allora essi gli domandarono: Chi sei dunque? Sei tu Elia?. Egli disse: Non lo sono!. Sei tu il profeta?. Ed egli rispose: No!.
Que dis-tu de toi-même ?Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?They said therefore unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?
He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said Isaiah the prophet.
Ceux qui avaient été envoyés étaient des pharisiens.And they which were sent were of the Pharisees.And they had been sent from the Pharisees.Or coloro che erano stati mandati venivano dai farisei;
Ils lui firent encore cette question : Pourquoi donc baptises-tu, si tu n'es pas le Christ, ni Élie, ni le prophète ?And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?And they asked him, and said unto him, Why then baptizest thou, if thou art not the Christ, neither Elijah, neither the prophet?essi gli domandarono e gli dissero: Perché dunque battezzi, se tu non sei il Cristo, né Elia, né il profeta?.
I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;John answered them, saying, I baptize in water: in the midst of you standeth one whom ye know not,Giovanni rispose loro. dicendo: Io battezzo con acqua, ma in mezzo a vo i sta uno che non conoscete.
He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.[even] he that cometh after me, the latchet of whose shoe I am not worthy to unloose.
These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.These things were done in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.On the morrow he seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold, the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world!
This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man who is become before me: for he was before me.Questi è colui del quale dissi: "Dopo di me viene un uomo che mi ha preceduto, perché era prima di me"
And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.And I knew him not; but that he should be made manifest to Israel, for this cause came I baptizing in water.
And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.And John bare witness, saying, I have beheld the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven; and it abode upon him.E Giovanni testimoniò, dicendo: Io ho visto lo Spirito scendere dal cielo come una colomba e fermarsi su di lui.
And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize in water, he said unto me, Upon whomsoever thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and abiding upon him, the same is he that baptizeth in the Holy Spirit.
And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.And I have seen, and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.Ed io ho visto ed ho attestato che questi è il Figlio di Dio.
Le lendemain, Jean était encore là, avec deux de ses disciples ;Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;Again on the morrow John was standing, and two of his disciples;Il giorno seguente, Giovanni era nuovamente là con due dei suoi discepoli.
And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!and he looked upon Jesus as he walked, and saith, Behold, the Lamb of God!E, fissando lo sguardo su Gesù che passava, disse: Ecco l'Agnello di Dio.
And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.E i due discepoli, avendolo sentito parlare, seguirono Gesù.
Ils lui répondirent : Rabbi (ce qui signifie Maître), où demeures-tu ?Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?And Jesus turned, and beheld them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? And they said unto him, Rabbi (which is to say, being interpreted, Teacher), where abideth thou?
He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.He saith unto them, Come, and ye shall see. They came therefore and saw where he abode; and they abode with him that day: it was about the tenth hour.Egli disse loro: Venite e vedete. Essi dunque andarono e videro dove egli abitava, e stettero con lui quel giorno.
One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.One of the two that heard John [speak], and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter`s brother.
Ce fut lui qui rencontra le premier son frère Simon, et il lui dit : Nous avons trouvé le Messie (ce qui signifie Christ).He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.He findeth first his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messiah (which is, being interpreted, Christ).Costui trovò per primo suo fratello Simone e gli disse: Abbiamo trovato il Messia che, tradotto, vuol dire: "Il Cristo";
And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.He brought him unto Jesus. Jesus looked upon him, and said, Thou art Simon the son of John: thou shalt be called Cephas (which is by interpretation, Peter).e lo condusse da Gesù. Gesù allora, fissandolo, disse: Tu sei Simone, figlio di Giona; tu sarai chiamato Cefa che vuol dire: sasso.
The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.On the morrow he was minded to go forth into Galilee, and he findeth Philip: and Jesus saith unto him, Follow me.Il giorno seguente, Gesù desiderava partire per la Galilea; trovò Filippo e gli disse: Seguimi.
Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.Now Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter.
Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.And Nathanael said unto him, Can any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.E Natanaele gli disse: Può venire qualcosa di buono da Nazaret?.
Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
D'où me connais-tu ? lui dit Nathanaël. Jésus lui répondit : Avant que Philippe t'appelât, quand tu étais sous le figuier, je t'ai vu.Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.
Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.Nathanael answered him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art King of Israel.
Jésus lui répondit : Parce que je t'ai dit que je t'ai vu sous le figuier, tu crois ; tu verras de plus grandes choses que celles-ci.Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee underneath the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.
And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye shall see the heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
