| 3 | Car tout souverain sacrificateur est établi pour offrir des dons et des sacrifices; c'est pourquoi il est nécessaire que celui-ci ait aussi quelque chose à offrir. | For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is necessary that this [high priest] also have somewhat to offer. | Infatti ogni sommo sacerdote è costituito per offrire doni e sacrifici; per cui è necessario che anche costui abbia qualche cosa da offrire. |
| 4 | Car s'il était sur la terre, il ne serait même pas sacrificateur, puisqu'il y a des sacrificateurs qui offrent les dons selon la loi, | Now if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at all, seeing there are those who offer the gifts according to the law; | Ora, se egli fosse sulla terra, non sarebbe neppure sacerdote, perché vi sono già i sacerdoti che offrono i doni secondo la legge |
| 5 | Et qui rendent un culte, image et ombre des choses célestes, selon l'ordre divin qui fut donné à Moïse, lorsqu'il devait dresser le tabernacle: Prends garde, lui dit-Il, de faire tout selon le modèle qui t'a été montré sur la montagne. | who serve [that which is] a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, even as Moses is warned [of God] when he is about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern that was showed thee in the mount. | i quali servono di esempio ed ombra delle cose celesti, come fu detto da Dio a Mosè, quando stava per costruire il tabernacolo: Guarda, egli disse, di fare ogni cosa secondo il modello che ti è stato mostrato sul monte. |

| 9 | Non une alliance comme celle que je fis avec leurs pères, au jour où les prenant par la main, je les tirai du pays d'Égypte; car ils n'ont pas persévéré dans mon alliance, et je les ai abandonnés, dit le Seigneur. | Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers In the day that I took them by the hand to lead them forth out of the land of Egypt; For they continued not in my covenant, And I regarded them not, saith the Lord. | non come il patto che feci con i loro padri, nel giorno che li presi per mano per condurli fuori dal paese di Egitto, perché essi non sono rimasti fedeli al mio patto, ed io li ho rigettati, dice il Signore. |
| 10 | Or, voici l'alliance que je traiterai avec la maison d'Israël, après ces jours-là, dit le Seigneur, je mettrai mes lois dans leur esprit, et je les écrirai sur leur coeur. Je serai leur Dieu, et ils seront mon peuple; | For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel After those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, And on their heart also will I write them: And I will be to them a God, And they shall be to me a people: | Questo dunque sarà il patto che farò con la casa d'Israele dopo quei giorni, dice il Signore, io porrò le mie leggi nella loro mente e le scriverò nei loro cuori; e sarò il loro Dio, ed essi saranno il mio popolo. |
| 11 | Et aucun n'enseignera plus ni son prochain ni son frère, en disant: Connais le Seigneur; parce que tous me connaîtront, depuis le plus petit d'entre eux jusqu'au plus grand; | And they shall not teach every man his fellow-citizen, And every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: For all shall know me, From the least to the greatest of them. | E nessuno istruirà più il suo prossimo e nessuno il proprio fratello, dicendo: Conosci il Signore! Poiché tutti mi conosceranno, dal più piccolo al più grande di loro, |
| 12 | Parce que je serai apaisé à l'égard de leurs injustices, et que je ne me souviendrai plus de leurs péchés, ni de leurs iniquités. | For I will be merciful to their iniquities, And their sins will I remember no more. | perché io avrò misericordia delle loro iniquità e non mi ricorderò più dei loro peccati e dei loro misfatti. |
| 13 | En parlant d'une alliance nouvelle, il déclare ancienne la première; or, ce qui est devenu ancien et a vieilli est près de disparaître. | In that he saith, A new [covenant] he hath made the first old. But that which is becoming old and waxeth aged is nigh unto vanishing away. | Dicendo "un nuovo patto" egli ha reso antico il primo, or quello che diventa antico ed invecchia, è vicino ad essere annullato. |
