| 14 | Car nous n'avons point ici-bas de cité permanente, mais nous cherchons celle qui est à venir. | For we have not here an abiding city, but we seek after [the city] which is to come. | Infatti non abbiamo quaggiù una città stabile, ma cerchiamo quella futura. |
| 15 | Offrons donc sans cesse à Dieu par Jésus un sacrifice de louange, c'est-à-dire, le fruit de lèvres qui confessent son nom. | Through him then let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which make confession to his name. | Per mezzo di lui dunque, offriamo del continuo a Dio un sacrificio di lode, cioè il frutto di labbra che confessano il suo nome. |
| 16 | Et n'oubliez pas la bienfaisance et la libéralité; car Dieu prend plaisir à de tels sacrifices. | But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. | E non dimenticate la beneficenza e di far parte dei vostri beni agli altri, perché Dio si compiace di tali sacrifici. |
| 17 | Obéissez à vos conducteurs et soyez-leur soumis, car ils veillent sur vos âmes, comme devant en rendre compte, afin qu'ils le fassent avec joie et non en gémissant; car cela vous serait préjudiciable. | Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit [to them]: for they watch in behalf of your souls, as they that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief: for this [were] unprofitable for you. | Ubbidite ai vostri conduttori e sottomettetevi a loro, perché essi vegliano sulle anime vostre, come chi ha da renderne conto, affinché facciano questo con gioia e non sospirando, perché ciò non vi sarebbe di alcun vantaggio. |
