| 5 | Et votre sang à vous, j'en demanderai compte à cause de vos âmes, j'en demanderai compte à toute bête; de la main de l'homme, de la main de l'homme qui est son frère, je redemanderai l'âme de l'homme. | And surely your blood, [the blood] of your lives, will I require; At the hand of every beast will I require it. And at the hand of man, even at the hand of every man`s brother, will I require the life of man. | Io chiederò certamente conto del sangue delle vostre vite; ne chiederò conto ad ogni animale e all'uomo. | 8 | Dieu dit encore à Noé et à ses fils avec lui : | And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, | Poi DIO parlò a Noè e ai suoi figli con lui, dicendo: |
| 9 | "Et moi, je vais établir mon alliance avec vous et avec votre postérité après vous, | And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; | Quanto a me, ecco io stabilisco il mio patto con voi e con la vostra progenie dopo di voi, |
| 10 | avec tous les êtres vivants qui sont avec vous, oiseaux, animaux domestiques et toutes les bêtes de la terre avec vous, depuis tous ceux qui sont sortis de l'arche Jusqu'à toute bête de la terre. | and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you. Of all that go out of the ark, even every beast of the earth. | e con tutti gli esseri viventi che sono con voi: uccelli, bestiame e tutti gli animali della terra con voi, da tutti quelli che sono usciti dall'arca a tutti gli animali della terra. |
| 11 | J'établis mon alliance avec vous : aucune chair ne sera plus détruite par les eaux du déluge, et il n'y aura plus de déluge pour ravager la terre." | And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of the flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. | Io stabilisco il mio patto con voi: nessuna carne sarà più sterminata dalle acque del diluvio, e non ci sarà più diluvio per distruggere la terra. |
| 12 | Et Dieu dit : "Voici le signe de l'alliance que je mets entre moi et vous, et tous les êtres vivants qui sont avec vous, pour toutes les générations à venir. | And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: | Poi DIO disse: Questo è il segno del patto che io faccio tra me e voi, e tutti gli esseri viventi che sono con voi, per tutte le generazioni future. |
| 13 | J'ai mis mon arc dans la nue, et il deviendra signe d'alliance entre moi et la terre. | I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. | Io pongo il mio arcobaleno nella nuvola, e servirà di segno del patto fra me e la terra. |
| 14 | Quand j'assemblerai des nuées au-dessus de la terre, l'arc apparaîtra dans la nue, | And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud, | E avverrà che, quando farò venire delle nuvole sulla terra, l'arco apparirà nelle nuvole; |
| 15 | et je me souviendrai de mon alliance entre moi et vous et tout être vivant, de toute chair, et les eaux ne deviendront plus un déluge détruisant toute chair. | and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. | e io mi ricorderò del mio patto fra me e voi ed ogni essere vivente di ogni carne, e le acque non diventeranno più un diluvio per distruggere ogni carne. |
| 16 | L'arc sera dans la nue et, en le regardant, je me souviendrai de l'alliance éternelle qui existe entre Dieu et tous les êtres vivants, de toute chair, qui sont sur la terre." | And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. | L'arco dunque sarà nelle nuvole e io lo guarderò per ricordarmi del patto eterno fra DIO e ogni essere vivente di qualunque carne che è sulla terra. |
| 17 | Et Dieu dit à Noé : "Tel est le signe de l'alliance que j'ai établie entre moi et toute chair qui est sur la terre." | And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth. | E DIO disse a Noè: Questo è il segno del patto che io ho stabilito fra me e ogni carne che è sulla terra. |
| 18 | Les fils de Noé qui sortirent de l'arche étaient Sem, Chan et Japheth ; et Cham était père de Chanaan. | And the sons of Noah, that went forth from the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan. | Ora figli di Noè che uscirono dall'arca furono: Sem, Cam e Jafet; e Cam è il padre di Canaan. |
| 19 | Ces trois sont les fils de Noé, et c'est par eux que fut peuplée toute la terre. | These three were the sons of Noah: and of these was the whole earth overspread. | Questi sono i tre figli di Noè, e da loro fu popolata tutta la terra. |

| 21 | Ayant bu du vin, il s'enivra, et il se découvrit au milieu de sa tente. | and he drank of the wine, and was drunken. And he was uncovered within his tent. | e bevve del vino e si ubriacò, e si scoperse in mezzo alla sua tenda. |
| 22 | Cham, père de Chanaan, vit la nudité de son père, et il alla le rapporter dehors à ses deux frères. | And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. | E Cam, padre di Canaan, vide la nudità di suo padre e andò a dirlo ai suoi due fratelli di fuori. |
| 23 | Alors Sem avec Japheth prit le manteau de Noé et, l'ayant mis sur leurs épaules, ils marchèrent à reculons et couvrirent la nudité de leur père. | And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father. And their faces were backward, and they saw not their father`s nakedness. | Ma Sem e Jafet presero un mantello, se lo misero sulle loro spalle e, camminando all'indietro coprirono la nudità del loro padre; e, siccome avevano le loro facce rivolte dalla parte opposta, non videro la nudità del loro padre. |
| 24 | Comme leur visage était tourné en arrière, ils ne virent pas la nudité de leur père. Lorsque Noé se réveilla de son ivresse, il apprit ce que lui avait fait son plus jeune fils, et il dit : | And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his youngest son had done unto him. | Quando Noè si svegliò dalla sua ebbrezza, seppe quello che gli aveva fatto il figlio minore, e disse: |
| 25 | Maudit soit Chanaan! Il sera pour ses frères le serviteur des serviteurs ! | And he said, Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. | Maledetto sia Canaan! Egli sia il servo dei servi dei suoi fratelli!. |
| 26 | Puis il dit : Béni soit Yahweh, Dieu de Sem, et que Chanaan soit son serviteur! | And he said, Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Shem; And let Canaan be his servant. | Poi disse: Benedetto sia l'Eterno, il DIO di Sem, e sia Canaan suo servo. |
| 27 | Que Dieu donne de l'espace à Japheth, qu'il habite dans les tentes de Sem, et que Chanaan soit son serviteur ! | God enlarge Japheth, And let him dwell in the tents of Shem; And let Canaan be his servant. | DIO ingrandisca Jafet e dimori nelle tende di Sem e sia Canaan suo servo!. |
| 28 | Noé vécut après le déluge trois cent cinquante ans. | And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. | Dopo il diluvio, Noè visse trecentocinquant'anni. |
| 29 | Tous les jours de Noé furent de neuf cent cinquante ans, et il mourut. | And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: And he died. | Così tutto il tempo che Noè visse fu di novecentocinquant'anni; poi morì. |
