| 17 | Et le déluge fut sur la terre quarante jours; et les eaux crûrent et soulevèrent l'arche, et elle fut élevée au-dessus de la terre. | And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. | E il diluvio venne sopra la terra per quaranta giorni; e le acque crebbero e sollevarono l'arca, che si alzò in alto sopra la terra. |
| 18 | Et les eaux se renforcèrent et crûrent beaucoup sur la terre; et l'arche flottait sur la face des eaux. | And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. | Le acque ingrossarono e crebbero grandemente sopra la terra e l'arca galleggiava sulla superficie delle acque. |
| 19 | Et les eaux se renforcèrent extraordinairement sur la terre; et toutes les hautes montagnes qui étaient sous tous les cieux furent couvertes. | And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. | E le acque ingrossarono con grande forza sopra la terra; e tutte le alte montagne che erano sotto tutto il cielo furono coperte. |
| 20 | Les eaux se renforcèrent de quinze coudées par-dessus, et les montagnes furent couvertes. | Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered. | Le acque si alzarono quindici cubiti al di sopra di esse; e le montagne furono coperte. |
| 21 | Et toute chair qui se mouvait sur la terre expira, tant les oiseaux que le bétail et les bêtes des champs et tout ce qui fourmille sur la terre, et tout homme. | And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: | Così perì ogni carne che si muoveva sulla terra: uccelli, bestiame, fiere, rettili di ogni sorta striscianti sulla terra e tutti gli uomini. |
| 22 | Tout ce qui avait le souffle de vie dans ses narines, de tout ce qui était sur la terre sèche, mourut. | All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. | Tutto quello che era sulla terra asciutta ed aveva alito di vita nelle sue narici morì. |
| 23 | Et tout ce qui existait sur la face de la terre fut détruit, depuis l'homme jusqu'au bétail, jusqu'aux reptiles et jusqu'aux oiseaux des cieux: ils furent détruits de dessus la terre; et il ne resta que Noé et ce qui était avec lui dans l'arche. | And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. | E tutti gli esseri viventi che erano sulla faccia della terra furono sterminati: dall'uomo fino al bestiame ai rettili e agli uccelli del cielo; essi furono sterminati dalla terra e non scampò che Noè con quelli che erano con lui nell'arca. |
