Mais ses frères ne lui pouvaient répondre, car ils étaient tout troublés de sa présence. | And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence. | Quindi Giuseppe disse ai suoi fratelli: Io sono Giuseppe; è mio padre ancora in vita?. Ma i suoi fratelli non gli potevano rispondere perché erano sgomenti alla sua presenza. |
| 4 | Joseph dit encore à ses frères: Je vous prie, approchez-vous de moi; et ils s'approchèrent, et il leur dit: Je suis Joseph votre frère, que vous avez vendu pour être mené en Egypte. | And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt. | Allora Giuseppe disse ai suoi fratelli: Deh, avvicinatevi a me!. Quelli si avvicinarono, ed egli disse: Io sono Giuseppe, vostro fratello, che voi vendeste perché fosse condotto in Egitto. |
| 5 | Mais maintenant ne soyez pas en peine, et n'ayez point de regret de ce que vous m'avez vendu pour être mené ici, car Dieu m'a envoyé devant vous pour la conservation de votre vie. | And now be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. | Ma ora non vi contristate e non vi dispiaccia di avermi venduto perché io fossi condotto quaggiù, poiché DIO mi ha mandato davanti a voi per conservarvi la vita. |
| 6 | Car voici il y a déjà deux ans que la famine est en la terre, et il y aura encore cinq ans, pendant lesquels il n'y aura ni labourage, ni moisson. | For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and there are yet five years, in which there shall be neither plowing nor harvest. | Infatti è già due anni che vi è carestia nel paese; e ci saranno altri cinque anni, durante i quali non vi sarà né aratura né messe. |
| 7 | Mais Dieu m'a envoyé devant vous, pour vous faire subsister sur la terre, et vous faire vivre par une grande délivrance. | And God sent me before you to preserve you a remnant in the earth, and to save you alive by a great deliverance. | Ma DIO mi ha mandato davanti a voi perché sia conservato per voi un residuo sulla terra, e per salvarvi la vita con una grande liberazione. |
| 8 | Maintenant donc ce n'est pas vous qui m'avez envoyé ici, mais c'est Dieu, lequel m'a établi pour père à Pharaon, et pour Seigneur sur toute sa maison, et pour commander dans tout le pays d'Egypte. | So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and ruler over all the land of Egypt. | Non siete dunque voi che mi avete mandato qui, ma è DIO; egli mi ha stabilito come padre del Faraone, come signore di tutta la sua casa e governatore di tutto il paese d'Egitto. |

| 10 | Et tu habiteras dans la contrée de Goscen, et tu seras près de moi, toi et tes enfants, et les enfants de tes enfants, et tes troupeaux, et tes boeufs, et tout ce qui est à toi. | and thou shalt dwell in the land of Goshen, and thou shalt be near unto me, thou, and thy children, and thy children`s children, and thy flocks, and thy herds, and all that thou hast: | tu dimorerai nel paese di Goscen e sarai vicino a me: tu e i tuoi figli, i figli dei tuoi figli, le tue greggi, i tuoi armenti e tutto quello che possiedi. |
| 11 | Et je t'entretiendrai là, car il y a encore cinq années de famine, de peur que tu ne périsses par la misère, toi et ta maison, et tout ce qui est à toi. | and there will I nourish thee; for there are yet five years of famine; lest thou come to poverty, thou, and thy household, and all that thou hast. | E là io ti sostenterò, perché ci saranno ancora cinque anni di carestia, affinché tu non sia ridotto in miseria: tu, la tua famiglia e tutto quello che possiedi". |

| 13 | Rapportez donc à mon père quelle est ma gloire en Egypte, et tout ce que vous avez vu; et hâtez-vous, et faites descendre ici mon père. | And ye shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that ye have seen: and ye shall haste and bring down my father hither. | Raccontate dunque a mio padre tutta la mia gloria in Egitto e tutto quello che avete visto, e affrettatevi a condurre mio padre quaggiù. |
| 14 | Alors il se jeta sur le cou de Benjamin son frère, et pleura. Benjamin pleura aussi sur son cou. | And he fell upon his brother Benjamin`s neck, and wept; and Benjamin wept upon his neck. | Poi si gettò al collo di suo fratello Beniamino e pianse, e Beniamino pianse stretto al suo collo. |

| 16 | Et on en entendit le bruit dans la maison de Pharaon, disant: Les frères de Joseph sont venus; ce qui plut fort à Pharaon et à ses serviteurs. | And the report thereof was heard in Pharaoh`s house, saying, Joseph`s brethren are come: and it pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants. | Il rumore della cosa si sparse nella casa del Faraone, e si disse: Sono arrivati i fratelli di Giuseppe. Questo fece piacere al Faraone e ai suoi servi. |
| 17 | Alors Pharaon dit à Joseph: Dis à tes frères: Faites ceci, chargez vos bêtes, et partez pour vous en retourner au pays de Canaan; | And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Say unto thy brethren, This do ye: lade your beasts, and go, get you unto the land of Canaan; | Allora il Faraone disse a Giuseppe: Di' ai tuoi fratelli: "Fate questo: Caricate le vostre bestie e andate; tornate nel paese di Canaan. |
| 18 | Et prenez votre père et vos familles, et revenez vers moi, et je vous donnerai du meilleur du pays d'Egypte; et vous mangerez la graisse de la terre. | and take your father and your households, and come unto me: and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and ye shall eat the fat of the land. | Poi prendete vostro padre e le vostre famiglie, e venite da me; io vi darò il meglio del paese d'Egitto e mangerete i prodotti migliori del paese". |
| 19 | Or tu as la puissance de commander: Faites ceci, prenez avec vous du pays d'Egypte des chariots pour vos petits enfants et pour vos femmes; et amenez votre père, et venez. | Now thou art commanded, this do ye: take you wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come. | Tu hai l'ordine di dir loro: "Fate questo: Prendete con voi dal paese di Egitto dei carri per i vostri piccoli e per le vostre mogli; prendete vostro padre e venite. |
| 20 | Ne regrettez point vos meubles; car le meilleur de tout le pays d'Egypte sera à vous. | Also regard not your stuff; for the good of all the land of Egypt is yours. | E non preoccupatevi per le vostre masserizie, perché il meglio di tutto il paese d'Egitto sarà vostro". |
| 21 | Et les enfants d'Israël le firent ainsi. Et Joseph leur donna des chariots selon l'ordre de Pharaon; il leur donna aussi de la provision pour le chemin. | And the sons of Israel did so: and Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provision for the way. | I figli di Israele fecero così, e Giuseppe diede loro dei carri, secondo l'ordine del Faraone, e diede loro delle provviste per il viaggio. |
| 22 | Il leur donna à chacun des robes de rechange; et il donna à Benjamin trois cents pièces d'argent, et cinq robes de rechange. | To all of them he gave each man changes of raiment; but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver, and five changes of raiment. | A tutti diede un abito di ricambio per ciascuno; ma a Beniamino diede trecento sicli d'argento e cinque mute di vestiti; |
| 23 | Il envoya aussi à son père dix ânes chargés des plus excellentes choses qu'il y eût en Egypte, et dix ânesses portant du blé, du pain, et des vivres à son père pour le chemin. | And to his father he sent after this manner: ten asses laden with the good things of Egypt, and ten she-asses laden with grain and bread and provision for his father by the way. | e a suo padre mandò questo: dieci asini carichi delle migliori cose d'Egitto, dieci asine cariche di grano, di pane e di viveri per suo padre durante il viaggio. |

| 26 | Et ils lui rapportèrent et lui dirent: Joseph vit encore, et même il commande sur tout le pays d'Egypte; et le coeur lui défaillit, quoiqu'il ne les crût pas. | And they told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt. And his heart fainted, for he believed them not. | E gli riferirono ogni cosa, dicendo: Giuseppe è ancora in vita, ed è il governatore di tutto il paese d'Egitto. Ma il suo cuore rimase freddo, perché egli non credeva loro. |
| 27 | Et ils lui dirent toutes les paroles que Joseph leur avait dites; puis il vit les chariots que Joseph avait envoyés pour le porter; et l'esprit revint à Jacob leur père. | And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived: | Quando però essi gli riferirono tutte le parole che Giuseppe aveva loro detto ed egli vide i carri che Giuseppe aveva mandato per condurlo via, allora lo spirito di Giacobbe loro padre si ravvivò, |
| 28 | Alors Israël dit: C'est assez, Joseph mon fils vit encore, j'irai, et je le verrai avant que je meure. | and Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die. | e Israele disse: Basta; il mio figlio Giuseppe è ancora in vita; io andrò a vederlo prima di morire. |
