| 31 | et l'abondance ne sera plus connue dans le pays, à cause de cette famine qui viendra après; car elle sera très-intense. | and the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine which followeth; for it shall be very grievous. | E nel paese non si ricorderà più la precedete abbondanza, a motivo della carestia che seguirà, perché questa sarà molto dura. |
| 32 | Et que le songe ait été répété deux fois au Pharaon, c'est que la chose est arrêtée de la part de Dieu, et que Dieu se hâte de la faire. | And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh, it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass. | Il fatto poi che il sogno sia stato dato al Faraone due volte vuol dire che la cosa è decretata da DIO, e DIO la farà accadere presto. |
| 33 | Et maintenant, que le Pharaon se cherche un homme intelligent et sage, et qu'il l'établisse sur le pays d'Égypte. | Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt. | Or dunque cerchi il Faraone un uomo intelligente e savio e lo stabilisca sul paese d'Egitto. |
| 34 | Que le Pharaon fasse cela, et qu'il prépose des commissaires sur le pays, et qu'il lève le cinquième du pays d'Égypte pendant les sept années d'abondance; | Let Pharaoh do [this], and let him appoint overseers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years. | Il Faraone faccia così: costituisca sul paese dei soprintendenti per prelevare il quinto dei prodotti del paese d'Egitto, durante i sette anni di abbondanza. |
| 35 | et qu'ils rassemblent tous les vivres de ces bonnes années qui viennent, et qu'ils amassent le blé sous la main du Pharaon pour nourriture dans les villes, et qu'ils le gardent. | And let them gather all the food of these good years that come, and lay up grain under the hand of Pharaoh for food in the cities, and let them keep it. | Radunino essi tutti i viveri di queste annate buone che stanno per venire e ammassino il grano sotto l'autorità del Faraone, e lo conservino per l'approvvigionamento delle città. |
| 36 | Et les vivres seront une réserve pour le pays, pour les sept années de famine qui seront dans le pays d'Égypte, et le pays ne sera pas détruit par la famine. | And the food shall be for a store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine. | Questi viveri saranno una riserva per il paese, in vista dei sette anni di carestia che verranno nel paese d'Egitto; così il paese non perirà per la carestia. |
| 37 | Et la chose fut bonne aux yeux du Pharaon et aux yeux de tous ses serviteurs | And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants. | La cosa piacque al Faraone e a tutti i suoi funzionari. |
| 38 | Et le Pharaon dit à ses serviteurs: Trouverons-nous un homme semblable à celui-ci, en qui est l'esprit des dieux? | And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom the spirit of God is? | E il Faraone disse ai suoi funzionari: Potremmo noi trovare un uomo come questi, in cui ci sia lo Spirito di DIO?. |
| 39 | Et le Pharaon dit à Joseph: Puisque Dieu t'a fait connaître tout cela, personne n'est intelligent et sage comme toi. | And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath showed thee all of this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou: | Allora il Faraone disse a Giuseppe: Poiché DIO ti ha fatto conoscere tutto questo, non vi è alcuno che sia intelligente e savio come te. |
| 40 | Toi, tu seras sur ma maison, et tout mon peuple se dirigera d'après ton commandement; seulement quant au trône, je serai plus grand que toi. | thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou. | Tu sarai sopra la mia casa e tutto il mio popolo obbedirà ai tuoi ordini; per il trono soltanto io sarò più grande di te. |
| 41 | Et le Pharaon dit à Joseph: Vois, je t'ai établi sur tout le pays d'Égypte. | And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. | Il Faraone disse a Giuseppe: Vedi io ti stabilisco su tutto il paese d'Egitto. |
| 42 | Etle Pharaon ôta son anneau de sa main, et le mit à la main de Joseph, et il le revêtit de vêtements de byssus, et mit un collier d'or à son cou; | And Pharaoh took off his signet ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph`s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; | Poi il Faraone si tolse l'anello dalla propria mano e lo mise alla mano di Giuseppe; lo fece vestire di abiti di lino fino e gli mise al collo una collana d'oro. |

Et Joseph parcourut le pays d'Égypte. | And Pharaoh called Joseph`s name Zaphenath-paneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath, the daughter of Poti-phera priest of On. And Joseph went out over the land of Egypt. | E il Faraone chiamò Giuseppe col nome di Tsofnath-Paneah, e gli diede in moglie Asenath figlia di Potiferah, sacerdote di On. E Giuseppe partì per visitare il paese d'Egitto. |

Allora il Faraone disse a tutti gli Egiziani: Andate da Giuseppe, e fate quello che vi dirà. |
| 56 | Et la famine était sur toute la face de la terre; et Joseph ouvrit tous les lieux de dépôt, et vendit du blé aux Égyptiens; et la famine sévissait dans le pays d'Égypte. | And the famine was over all the face of the earth: and Joseph opened all the store-houses, and sold unto the Egyptians; and the famine was sore in the land of Egypt. | La carestia si era sparsa sulla superficie di tutto il paese, e Giuseppe aperse tutti i depositi e vendé grano agli Egiziani. Ma la carestia si aggravò nel paese d'Egitto. |
