3	Elle dit : Voici ma servante Bilha ; va vers elle ; qu'elle enfante sur mes genoux, et que par elle j'aie aussi des fils. And she said, Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her; and she shall bear upon my knees, that I may also have children by her. 8	Rachel dit : J'ai lutté divinement contre ma soeur, et j'ai vaincu. Et elle l'appela du nom de Nephthali.	Et Rachel dit: J'ai soutenu des luttes de Dieu avec ma soeur, aussi je l'ai emporté. Et elle appela son nom Nephthali.	And Rachel said, With great wrestlings have I wrestled with my sister, and I have prevailed: and she called his name Naphtali.	And Rachel said, With mighty wrestlings have I wrestled with my sister, and have prevailed: and she called his name Naphtali.
9	Léa voyant qu'elle avait cessé d'enfanter, prit Zilpa, sa servante, et la donna pour femme à Jacob.	Et Léa vit qu'elle avait cessé d'enfanter, et elle prit Zilpa, sa servante, et la donna pour femme à Jacob.	When Leah saw that she had left bearing, she took Zilpah her maid, and gave her Jacob to wife. 11	Léa dit : Quel bonheur ! Et elle l'appela du nom de Gad.	Et Léa dit: La bonne fortune vient. Et elle appela son nom Gad.	And Leah said, A troop cometh: and she called his name Gad.	And Leah said, Fortunate! and she called his name Gad.
12	Zilpa, servante de Léa, enfanta un second fils à Jacob.	Et Zilpa, servante de Léa, enfanta un second fils à Jacob.	And Zilpah Leah's maid bare Jacob a second son.	And Zilpah Leah`s handmaid bare Jacob a second son.
13	Léa dit : Que je suis heureuse ! car les filles me diront heureuse. Et elle l'appela du nom d'Aser.	Et Léa dit: Pour mon bonheur! car les filles me diront bienheureuse. Et elle appela son nom Aser.	And Leah said, Happy am I, for the daughters will call me blessed: and she called his name Asher.	And Leah said, Happy am I! for the daughters will call me happy: and she called his name Asher.
14	Ruben sortit au temps de la moisson des blés, et trouva des mandragores dans les champs. Il les apporta à Léa, sa mère. Alors Rachel dit à Léa : Donne moi, je te prie, des mandragores de ton fils. And she said unto her, Is it a small matter that thou hast taken my husband? and wouldest thou take away my son's mandrakes also? And Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie with thee to night for thy son's mandrakes. And Jacob came out of the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him, and said, Thou must come in unto me; for surely I have hired thee with my son's mandrakes. 17	Dieu exauça Léa, qui devint enceinte, et enfanta un cinquième fils à Jacob.	Et Dieu entendit Léa, et elle conçut, et enfanta à Jacob un cinquième fils.	And God hearkened unto Leah, and she conceived, and bare Jacob the fifth son.	And God hearkened unto Leah, and she conceived, and bare Jacob a fifth son.
18	Léa dit : Dieu m'a donné mon salaire parce que j'ai donné ma servante à mon mari. Et elle l'appela du nom d'Issacar.	Et Léa dit: Dieu m'a donné mon salaire, parce que j'ai donné ma servante à mon mari. Et elle appela son nom Issacar.	And Leah said, God hath given me my hire, because I have given my maiden to my husband: and she called his name Issachar.	And Leah said, God hath given me my hire, because I gave my handmaid to my husband: and she called his name Issachar.
19	Léa devint encore enceinte, et enfanta un sixième fils à Jacob.	Et Léa conçut encore, et enfanta à Jacob un sixième fils.	And Leah conceived again, and bare Jacob the sixth son.	And Leah conceived again, and bare a sixth son to Jacob.
20	Léa dit : Dieu m'a fait un beau don ; cette fois, mon mari habitera avec moi, car je lui ai enfanté six fils. Et elle l'appela du nom de Zabulon.	Et Léa dit: Dieu m'a fait un beau don; cette fois mon mari habitera avec moi, car je lui ai enfanté six fils. Et elle appela son nom Zabulon.	And Leah said, God hath endued me with a good dowry; now will my husband dwell with me, because I have born him six sons: and she called his name Zebulun.	And Leah said, God hath endowed me with a good dowry; now will my husband dwell with me, because I have borne him six sons: and she called his name Zebulun.

24	Et elle lui donna le nom de Joseph, en disant : Que l'Éternel m'ajoute un autre fils !	Et elle appela son nom Joseph, en disant: Que l'Éternel m'ajoute un autre fils!	And she called his name Joseph; and said, The LORD shall add to me another son.	and she called his name Joseph, saying, Jehovah add to me another son.
25	Lorsque Rachel eut enfanté Joseph, Jacob dit à Laban : Laisse-moi partir, pour que je m'en aille chez moi, dans mon pays.	Et il arriva, quand Rachel eut enfanté Joseph, que Jacob dit à Laban: Renvoie-moi, et j'irai dans mon lieu et dans mon pays.	And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country.	And it came to pass, when Rachel had borne Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country.
26	Donne-moi mes femmes et mes enfants, pour lesquels je t'ai servi, et je m'en irai ; car tu sais quel service j'ai fait pour toi. 27	Laban lui dit : Puissé-je trouver grâce à tes yeux ! Je vois bien que l'Éternel m'a béni à cause de toi ;	Et Laban lui dit: Écoute, si au moins j'ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux! J'ai aperçu que l'Éternel m'a béni à cause de toi.	And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake.	And Laban said unto him, If now I have found favor in thine eyes, [tarry]: [for] I have divined that Jehovah hath blessed me for thy sake.
28	fixe-moi ton salaire, et je te le donnerai.	Et il dit: Fixe-moi ton salaire, et je te le donnerai.	And he said, Appoint me thy wages, and I will give it.	And he said, Appoint me thy wages, and I will give it.
29	Jacob lui dit : Tu sais comment je t'ai servi, et ce qu'est devenu ton troupeau avec moi ;	Et il lui dit: Tu sais comment je t'ai servi, et ce qu'est devenu ton troupeau avec moi;	And he said unto him, Thou knowest how I have served thee, and how thy cattle was with me.	And he said unto him, Thou knowest how I have served thee, and how thy cattle have fared with me.
30	car le peu que tu avais avant moi s'est beaucoup accru, et l'Éternel t'a béni sur mes pas. Maintenant, quand travaillerai-je aussi pour ma maison ?	car ce que tu avais avant moi était peu de chose, et s'est accru et est devenu une multitude; et l'Éternel t'a béni depuis que je suis venu. Et maintenant, quand travaillerai-je, moi aussi, pour ma maison?	For it was little which thou hadst before I came, and it is now increased unto a multitude; and the LORD hath blessed thee since my coming: and now when shall I provide for mine own house also?	For it was little which thou hadst before I came, and it hath increased unto a multitude; and Jehovah hath blessed thee whithersoever I turned: and now when shall I provide for mine own house also?
31	Laban dit : Que te donnerai-je ? Et Jacob répondit : Tu ne me donneras rien. Si tu consens à ce que je vais te dire, je ferai paître encore ton troupeau, et je le garderai.	Et Laban dit: Que te donnerai-je? Et Jacob dit: Tu ne me donneras rien. Si tu veux faire ceci pour moi, je paîtrai encore ton bétail, et je le garderai:	And he said, What shall I give thee? And Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me any thing: if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep thy flock.	And he said, What shall I give thee? And Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me aught: if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will again feed thy flock and keep it.
32	Je parcourrai aujourd'hui tout ton troupeau ; mets à part parmi les brebis tout agneau tacheté et marqueté et tout agneau noir, et parmi les chèvres tout ce qui est marqueté et tacheté. Ce sera mon salaire.	je passerai aujourd'hui par tout ton bétail, j'en ôterai toute bête marquetée et tachetée, et tous les agneaux foncés, et ce qui est tacheté et marqueté par les chèvres; et ce sera là mon salaire.	I will pass through all thy flock to day, removing from thence all the speckled and spotted cattle, and all the brown cattle among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats: and of such shall be my hire.	I will pass through all thy flock to-day, removing from thence every speckled and spotted one, and every black one among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats: and [of such] shall be my hire.
33	Ma droiture répondra pour moi demain, quand tu viendras voir mon salaire ; tout ce qui ne sera pas tacheté et marqueté parmi les chèvres, et noir parmi les agneaux, ce sera de ma part un vol.	Et ma justice répondra pour moi désormais, quand elle viendra devant toi pour mon salaire; tout ce qui ne sera pas marqueté et tacheté parmi les chèvres, et foncé parmi les agneaux, auprès de moi, sera tenu pour volé.	So shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come for my hire before thy face: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted stolen with me.	So shall my righteousness answer for me hereafter, when thou shalt come concerning my hire that is before thee: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and black among the sheep, that [if found] with me, shall be counted stolen.
34	Laban dit : Eh bien ! qu'il en soit selon ta parole.	Et Laban dit: Voici, qu'il en soit selon ta parole.	And Laban said, Behold, I would it might be according to thy word.	And Laban said, Behold, I would it might be according to thy word.
35	Ce même jour, il mit à part les boucs rayés et marquetés, toutes les chèvres tachetées et marquetées, toutes celles où il y avait du blanc, et tout ce qui était noir parmi les brebis. Il les remit entre les mains de ses fils.	Et il ôta ce jour-là les boucs rayés et tachetés, et toutes les chèvres marquetées et tachetées, toutes celles qui avaient du blanc, et tout ce qui était foncé parmi les agneaux, et il les remit entre les mains de ses fils.	And he removed that day the he goats that were ringstraked and spotted, and all the she goats that were speckled and spotted, and every one that had some white in it, and all the brown among the sheep, and gave them into the hand of his sons. 36	Puis il mit l'espace de trois journées de chemin entre lui et Jacob ; et Jacob fit paître le reste du troupeau de Laban. 37	Jacob prit des branches vertes de peuplier, d'amandier et de platane ; il y pela des bandes blanches, mettant à nu le blanc qui était sur les branches.	Et Jacob prit des branches fraîches de peuplier blanc, de coudrier, et d'érable, et y pela des raies blanches, mettant à nu le blanc qui était aux branches.	And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut tree; and pilled white strakes in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods.	And Jacob took him rods of fresh poplar, and of the almond and of the plane-tree. And peeled white streaks in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods.
38	Puis il plaça les branches, qu'il avait pelées, dans les auges, dans les abreuvoirs, sous les yeux des brebis qui venaient boire, pour qu'elles entrassent en chaleur en venant boire.	Et il plaça des branches, qu'il avait pelées, devant le bétail dans les auges, dans les abreuvoirs où le bétail venait boire; et le bétail entrait en chaleur lorsqu'il venait boire;	And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink.	And he set the rods which he had peeled over against the flocks in the gutters in the watering-troughs where the flocks came to drink; and they conceived when they came to drink.
39	Les brebis entraient en chaleur près des branches, et elles faisaient des petits rayés, tachetés et marquetés.	le bétail entrait en chaleur devant les branches, et il faisait des petits, rayés, marquetés, et tachetés.	And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted.
