| 2 | And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. | Et Dieu lui dit: Prends maintenant ton fils, ton unique, celui que tu aimes, Isaac, et t'en va au pays de Morijah, et l'offre là en holocauste sur l'une des montagnes que je te dirai. | E DIO disse: Prendi ora tuo figlio, il tuo unico figlio, colui che tu ami, Isacco, va' nel paese di Moriah e là offrilo in olocausto sopra uno dei monti che io ti dirò. |
| 3 | And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. | Abraham donc s'étant levé de bon matin mit le bât sur son âne, et prit deux de ses serviteurs avec lui, et Isaac son fils; et ayant fendu le bois pour l'holocauste, il se mit en chemin, et s'en alla au lieu que Dieu lui avait dit. | Così Abrahamo si alzò al mattino presto, mise il basto al suo asino, prese con sé due dei suoi servi e Isacco suo figlio e spaccò della legna per l'olocausto; poi partì per andare al luogo che DIO gli aveva detto. |
| 4 | Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. | Le troisième jour Abraham levant ses yeux, vit le lieu de loin. | Il terzo giorno Abrahamo alzò gli occhi e vide da lontano il luogo. |
| 5 | And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. | Et il dit à ses serviteurs: Demeurez ici avec l'âne; moi et l'enfant marcherons jusque-là, et adorerons, après quoi nous reviendrons à vous. | Allora Abrahamo disse ai suoi servi: Rimanete qui con l'asino; io e il ragazzo andremo fin là e adoreremo; poi ritorneremo da voi. |
| 6 | And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. | Et Abraham prit le bois de l'holocauste, et le mit sur Isaac son fils, et prit le feu en sa main, et un couteau; et ils s'en allèrent tous deux ensemble. | Così Abrahamo prese la legna per l'olocausto e la caricò su Isacco suo figlio; poi prese in mano sua il fuoco e il coltello e s'incamminarono tutt'e due insieme. |
| 7 | And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? | Alors Isaac parla à Abraham son père, et dit: Mon père! Abraham répondit: Me voici, mon fils. Et il dit: Voici le feu et le bois, mais où est la bête pour l'holocauste? | E Isacco parlò a suo padre Abrahamo e disse: Padre mio!. Abrahamo rispose: Eccomi, figlio mio. E Isacco disse: Ecco il fuoco e la legna; ma dov'è l'agnello per l'olocausto?. |
| 8 | And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. | Et Abraham répondit: Mon fils, Dieu se pourvoira lui-même de bête pour l'holocauste. Et ils marchaient tous deux ensemble. | Abrahamo rispose: Figlio mio, DIO provvederà egli stesso l'agnello per l'olocausto. E proseguirono tutt'e due insieme. |
| 9 | And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. | Et étant arrivés au lieu que Dieu lui avait dit, Abraham bâtit là un autel, et rangea le bois, et ensuite il lia Isaac son fils, et le mit sur l'autel, au- dessus du bois. | Così giunsero al luogo che DIO gli aveva indicato, e là Abrahamo edificò l'altare e vi accomodò la legna; poi legò Isacco suo figlio e lo depose sull'altare sopra la legna. |
| 10 | And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. | Puis Abraham avançant sa main, se saisit du couteau pour égorger son fils. | Abrahamo quindi stese la mano e prese il coltello per uccidere suo figlio. |
| 11 | And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. | Mais l'Ange de l'Eternel lui cria des cieux en disant: Abraham, Abraham! Il répondit: Me voici. | Ma l'Angelo dell'Eterno lo chiamò dal cielo e disse: Abrahamo, Abrahamo!. Egli rispose: Eccomi. |
| 12 | And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. | Et il lui dit: Ne mets point ta main sur l'enfant, et ne lui fais rien; car maintenant j'ai connu que tu crains Dieu, puisque tu n'as point épargné pour moi ton fils, ton unique. | L'Angelo disse: Non stendere la tua mano contro il ragazzo e non gli fare alcun male; ora infatti so che tu temi Dio, poiché non mi hai rifiutato tuo figlio, l'unico tuo figliuolo. |
| 13 | And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. | Et Abraham levant ses yeux regarda, et voilà derrière lui un bélier, qui était retenu à un buisson par ses cornes; et Abraham alla prendre le bélier, et l'offrit en holocauste au lieu de son fils. | Allora Abrahamo alzò gli occhi e guardò; ed ecco dietro di lui un montone, preso per le corna in un cespuglio. Così Abrahamo andò, prese il montone e l'offerse in olocausto invece di suo figlio. |
| 14 | And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. | Et Abraham appela le nom de ce lieu-là, l'Eternel y pourvoira; c'est pourquoi on dit aujourd'hui; en la montagne de l'Eternel il y sera pourvu. | E Abrahamo chiamò quel luogo Jehovah Jireh. Per questo si dice fino al giorno d'oggi: Al monte dell'Eterno sarà provveduto. |
| 15 | And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, | Et l'Ange de l'Eternel cria des cieux à Abraham pour la seconde fois, | L'Angelo dell'Eterno chiamò dal cielo Abrahamo una seconda volta e disse: |
| 16 | And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: | En disant: J'ai juré par moi-même, dit l'Eternel; parce que tu as fait cette chose-ci, et que tu n'as point épargné ton fils, ton unique, | Io giuro per me stesso, dice l'Eterno, poiché tu hai fatto questo e non hai risparmiato tuo figlio, l'unico tuo figlio, |
| 17 | That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; | Certainement je te bénirai, et je multiplierai très-abondamment ta postérité comme les étoiles des cieux, et comme le sable qui est sur le bord de la mer; et ta postérité possédera la porte de ses ennemis. | io certo ti benedirò grandemente e moltiplicherò la tua discendenza come le stelle del cielo e come la sabbia che è sul lido del mare; e la tua discendenza possederà la porta dei suoi nemici. |
| 18 | And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. | Et toutes les nations de la terre seront bénies en ta semence, parce que tu as obéi à ma voix. | E tutte le nazioni della terra saranno benedette nella tua discendenza, perché tu hai ubbidito alla mia voce. |
| 19 | So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba. | Ainsi Abraham retourna vers ses serviteurs, et ils se levèrent, et s'en allèrent ensemble en Beer-Sébah; car Abraham demeurait à Béer-Sébah. | Poi Abrahamo tornò dai suoi servi; essi si alzarono e andarono insieme a Beer-Sceba. E Abrahamo dimorò a Beer-Sceba. |
| 20 | And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor; | Or il arriva après ces choses, que quelqu'un apporta des nouvelles à Abraham, en disant: Voici, Milca a aussi enfanté des enfants à Nacor ton frère. | Dopo queste cose fu riferito ad Abrahamo questo: Ecco, Milkaha ha partorito anch'ella dei figli a Nahor, tuo fratello: |
| 21 | Huz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram, | Savoir Huts son premier-né, et Buz son frère, et Cémuel père d'Aram, | Uz, suo primogenito, Buz suo fratello, Kemuel padre di Aram, |
| 22 | And Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel. | Et Késed, et Hazo, et Pildas, et Jidlaph, et Béthuel; | Kesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaf e Bethuel. |
| 23 | And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother. | Et Béthuel a engendré Rébecca. Milca enfanta ces huit à Nacor frère d'Abraham. | E Bethuel generò Rebecca. Questi otto figli Milkah partorì a Nahor, fratello di Abrahamo. |
| 24 | And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, she bare also Tebah, and Gaham, and Thahash, and Maachah. | Et sa concubine nommée Réuma, enfanta aussi Tébah, Gaham, Tahas, et Mahaca. | La sua concubina, che si chiamava Reumah, partorì anch'ella Tebah, Gaham, Tahash e Maakah. |
