| 3 | And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. | Abraham se leva de bon matin et, ayant sellé son âne, il prit avec lui deux de ses serviteurs et son fils Isaac ; il fendit le bois de l'holocauste et partit pour aller au lieu que Dieu lui avait dit. | Così Abrahamo si alzò al mattino presto, mise il basto al suo asino, prese con sé due dei suoi servi e Isacco suo figlio e spaccò della legna per l'olocausto; poi partì per andare al luogo che DIO gli aveva detto. |
| 4 | Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. | Le troisième jour, Abraham, levant les yeux, aperçut le lieu de loin ; | Il terzo giorno Abrahamo alzò gli occhi e vide da lontano il luogo. |
| 5 | And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. | et Abraham dit à ses serviteurs : "Restez ici avec l'âne ; moi et l'enfant, nous voulons aller jusque-là et adorer, puis nous reviendrons vers vous." | Allora Abrahamo disse ai suoi servi: Rimanete qui con l'asino; io e il ragazzo andremo fin là e adoreremo; poi ritorneremo da voi. |

| 8 | And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. | Et Isaac dit : "Voici le feu et le bois ; mais où est l'agneau pour l'holocauste ?"Abraham répondit : "Dieu verra à trouver l'agneau pour l'holocauste, mon fils."Et ils allaient tous deux ensemble. | Abrahamo rispose: Figlio mio, DIO provvederà egli stesso l'agnello per l'olocausto. | 9 | And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. | Lorsqu'ils furent arrivés au lieu que Dieu lui avait désigné, Abraham y éleva l'autel et arrangea le bois ; | Così giunsero al luogo che DIO gli aveva indicato, e là Abrahamo edificò l'altare e vi accomodò la legna; poi legò Isacco suo figlio e lo depose sull'altare sopra la legna. |
| 10 | And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. | puis il lia Isaac, son fils, et le mit sur l'autel, au-dessus du bois. | Abrahamo quindi stese la mano e prese il coltello per uccidere suo figlio. |
| 11 | And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. | Et Abraham étendit la main et prit le couteau pour égorger son fils. | 12 | And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. | Il répondit : "Me voici."Et l'ange dit "Ne porte pas la main sur l'enfant et ne lui fais rien ; | L'Angelo disse: Non stendere la tua mano contro il ragazzo e non gli fare alcun male; ora infatti so che tu temi Dio, poiché non mi hai rifiutato tuo figlio, l'unico tuo figliuolo. |
| 13 | And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. | car je sais maintenant que tu crains Dieu et que tu ne m'as pas refusé ton fils, ton unique."Abraham, ayant levé les yeux, vit derrière lui un bélier pris dans un buisson par les cornes; et Abraham alla prendre le bélier et l'offrit en holocauste à la place de son fils. | Allora Abrahamo alzò gli occhi e guardò; ed ecco dietro di lui un montone, preso per le corna in un cespuglio. | 14 | And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. | Et Abraham nomma ce lieu : "Yahweh-Yiréh ", d'où l'on dit aujourd'hui Sur la montagne de Yahweh, il sera vu. | E Abrahamo chiamò quel luogo Jehovah Jireh.
