And offer him there for a burnt-offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. | E DIO disse: Prendi ora tuo figlio, il tuo unico figlio, colui che tu ami, Isacco, va' nel paese di Moriah e là offrilo in olocausto sopra uno dei monti che io ti dirò. |
| 3 | Et Abraham se leva de bon matin et bâta son âne et prit avec lui deux de ses jeunes hommes, et Isaac, son fils; et il fendit le bois pour l'holocauste, et se leva, et s'en alla vers le lieu que Dieu lui avait dit. | And Abraham rose early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son. And he clave the wood for the burnt-offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. | Così Abrahamo si alzò al mattino presto, mise il basto al suo asino, prese con sé due dei suoi servi e Isacco suo figlio e spaccò della legna per l'olocausto; poi partì per andare al luogo che DIO gli aveva detto. |
| 4 | troisième jour, Abraham leva ses yeux, et vit le lieu de loin. | On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. | Il terzo giorno Abrahamo alzò gli occhi e vide da lontano il luogo. |
| 5 | Et Abraham dit à ses jeunes hommes: Restez ici, vous, avec l'âne; et moi et l'enfant nous irons jusque-là, et nous adorerons: et nous reviendrons vers vous. | And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass, and I and the lad will go yonder; and we will worship, and come again to you. | Allora Abrahamo disse ai suoi servi: Rimanete qui con l'asino; io e il ragazzo andremo fin là e adoreremo; poi ritorneremo da voi. |
| 6 | Et Abraham prit le bois de l'holocauste, et le mit sur Isaac, son fils; et il prit dans sa main le feu et le couteau; et ils allaient les deux ensemble. | And Abraham took the wood of the burnt-offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son. And he took in his hand the fire and the knife. And they went both of them together. | Così Abrahamo prese la legna per l'olocausto e la caricò su Isacco suo figlio; poi prese in mano sua il fuoco e il coltello e s'incamminarono tutt'e due insieme. |
| 7 | Et Isaac parla à Abraham, son père, et dit: Mon père! Et il dit: Me voici, mon fils. Et il dit: Voici le feu et le bois; mais où est l'agneau pour l'holocauste? | And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father. And he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold, the fire and the wood. But where is the lamb for a burnt-offering? | E Isacco parlò a suo padre Abrahamo e disse: Padre mio!. Abrahamo rispose: Eccomi, figlio mio. E Isacco disse: Ecco il fuoco e la legna; ma dov'è l'agnello per l'olocausto?. |
| 8 | Et Abraham dit: Mon fils, Dieu se pourvoira de l'agneau pour l'holocauste. Et ils allaient les deux ensemble. | And Abraham said, God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt-offering, my son. So they went both of them together. | Abrahamo rispose: Figlio mio, DIO provvederà egli stesso l'agnello per l'olocausto. E proseguirono tutt'e due insieme. |
| 9 | Et ils arrivèrent au lieu que Dieu lui avait dit. Et Abraham bâtit là l'autel, et arrangea le bois, et lia Isaac, son fils, et le mit sur l'autel, sur le bois. | And they came to the place which God had told him of. And Abraham built the altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar, upon the wood. | Così giunsero al luogo che DIO gli aveva indicato, e là Abrahamo edificò l'altare e vi accomodò la legna; poi legò Isacco suo figlio e lo depose sull'altare sopra la legna. |
| 10 | Et Abraham étendit sa main et prit le couteau pour égorger son fils. | And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. | Abrahamo quindi stese la mano e prese il coltello per uccidere suo figlio. |
| 11 | Mais l'Ange de l'Éternel lui cria des cieux, et dit: Abraham! Abraham! Et il dit: Me voici. | And the angel of Jehovah called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham. And he said, Here I am. | Ma l'Angelo dell'Eterno lo chiamò dal cielo e disse: Abrahamo, Abrahamo!. Egli rispose: Eccomi. |
| 12 | Et il dit: N'étends pas ta main sur l'enfant, et ne lui fais rien; car maintenant je sais que tu crains Dieu, et que tu ne m'as pas refusé ton fils, ton unique. | And he said, Lay not thy hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything unto him. For now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, from me. | L'Angelo disse: Non stendere la tua mano contro il ragazzo e non gli fare alcun male; ora infatti so che tu temi Dio, poiché non mi hai rifiutato tuo figlio, l'unico tuo figliuolo. |
| 13 | Et Abraham leva ses yeux, et vit, et voici, il y avait derrière lui un bélier retenu à un buisson par les cornes; et Abraham alla et prit le bélier, et l'offrit en holocauste à la place de son fils. | And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold, behind [him] a ram caught in the thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt-offering in the stead of his son. | Allora Abrahamo alzò gli occhi e guardò; ed ecco dietro di lui un montone, preso per le corna in un cespuglio. Così Abrahamo andò, prese il montone e l'offerse in olocausto invece di suo figlio. |
| 14 | Et Abraham appela le nom de ce lieu-là: Jéhovah-Jiré, comme on dit aujourd'hui: En la montagne de l'Éternel il y sera pourvu. | And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh. As it is said to this day, In the mount of Jehovah it shall be provided. | E Abrahamo chiamò quel luogo Jehovah Jireh. Per questo si dice fino al giorno d'oggi: Al monte dell'Eterno sarà provveduto. |
| 15 | Et l'Ange de l'Éternel cria des cieux à Abraham, une seconde fois, et dit: | And the angel of Jehovah called unto Abraham a second time out of heaven, | L'Angelo dell'Eterno chiamò dal cielo Abrahamo una seconda volta e disse: |
| 16 | J'ai juré par moi-même, dit l'Éternel: Parce que tu as fait cette chose-là, et que tu n'as pas refusé ton fils, ton unique, | and said, By myself have I sworn, saith Jehovah, because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, | Io giuro per me stesso, dice l'Eterno, poiché tu hai fatto questo e non hai risparmiato tuo figlio, l'unico tuo figlio, |
| 17 | certainement je te bénirai, et je multiplierai abondamment ta semence comme les étoiles des cieux et comme le sable qui est sur le bord de la mer; et ta semence possédera la porte de ses ennemis. | that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is upon the seashore. And thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies. | io certo ti benedirò grandemente e moltiplicherò la tua discendenza come le stelle del cielo e come la sabbia che è sul lido del mare; e la tua discendenza possederà la porta dei suoi nemici. |
| 18 | Et toutes les nations de la terre se béniront en ta semence, parce que tu as écouté ma voix. | And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed. Because thou hast obeyed my voice. | E tutte le nazioni della terra saranno benedette nella tua discendenza, perché tu hai ubbidito alla mia voce. |
| 19 | Et Abraham retourna vers ses jeunes hommes; et ils se levèrent, et s'en allèrent ensemble à Beër-Shéba; et Abraham habita à Beër-Shéba. | So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beer-sheba. And Abraham dwelt at Beer-sheba. | Poi Abrahamo tornò dai suoi servi; essi si alzarono e andarono insieme a Beer-Sceba. E Abrahamo dimorò a Beer-Sceba. |
| 20 | Et il arriva, après ces choses, qu'on rapporta à Abraham en disant: Voici, Milca, elle aussi, a enfanté des enfants à Nakhor, ton frère: | And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she also hath borne children unto they brother Nahor. | Dopo queste cose fu riferito ad Abrahamo questo: Ecco, Milkaha ha partorito anch'ella dei figli a Nahor, tuo fratello: |
| 21 | Uts, son premier-né; et Buz, son frère; et Kémuel, père d'Aram; | Uz his first-born, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram. | Uz, suo primogenito, Buz suo fratello, Kemuel padre di Aram, |
| 22 | et Késed, et Hazo, et Pildash, et Jidlaph, et Béthuel. | And Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel. | Kesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaf e Bethuel. |
| 23 | Or Béthuel engendra Rebecca. Milca enfanta ces huit à Nakhor, frère d'Abraham. | And Bethuel begat Rebekah. These eight did Milcah bear to Nahor, Abraham`s brother. | E Bethuel generò Rebecca. Questi otto figli Milkah partorì a Nahor, fratello di Abrahamo. |
| 24 | Et sa concubine, nommée Reüma, elle aussi enfanta Tébakh, et Gakham, et Thakhash, et Maaca. | And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, she also bare Tebah, and Gaham, and Tahash, and Maacah. | La sua concubina, che si chiamava Reumah, partorì anch'ella Tebah, Gaham, Tahash e Maakah. |
