| 7 | Il leur dit: Je vous prie, mes Frères, ne leur faites point de mal. | And he said, I pray you, my brethren, do not so wickedly. | Deh fratelli miei, non comportatevi in modo così malvagio! |
| 8 | Voici, j'ai deux filles qui n'ont point encore connu d'homme; je vous les amènerai, et vous les traiterez comme il vous plaira, pourvu que vous ne fassiez point de mal à ces hommes; car ils sont venus à l'ombre de mon toit. | Behold now, I have two daughters that have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing, forasmuch as they are come under the shadow of my roof. | Sentite, io ho due figlie che non hanno conosciuto uomo; deh, lasciate che ve le porti fuori e fate loro quel che vi pare; ma non fate nulla a questi uomini, perché essi sono entrati sotto la protezione del mio tetto. |
| 9 | Et ils lui dirent: Retire-toi de là. Ils dirent aussi: Cet homme seul est venu pour habiter ici comme étranger, et il voudra nous gouverner? Maintenant nous te ferons pis qu'à eux. Et ils faisaient violence à Lot; et ils s'approchèrent pour rompre la porte. | And they said, Stand back. And they said, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and drew near to break the door. | Ma essi dissero: fatti in là!. Poi continuarono: Costui è venuto qui come straniero, e vuol far da giudice! Ora faremo a te peggio che a quelli!. E spingendo Lot con violenza si avvicinarono per sfondare la porta. |
| 10 | Mais ces hommes avançant leurs mains, retirèrent Lot à eux dans la maison, et fermèrent la porte. | But the men put forth their hand, and brought Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door. | Ma quegli uomini allungarono le loro mani e tirarono Lot in casa con loro, e chiusero la porta. |
| 11 | Et ils frappèrent d'éblouissement les hommes qui étaient à la porte de la maison, depuis le plus petit jusqu'au plus grand; de sorte qu'ils se lassèrent à chercher la porte. | And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they wearied themselves to find the door. | colpirono quindi di cecità la gente che era alla porta della casa, dal più piccolo al più grande, cosicché si stancarono nel tentativo i trovare la porta. |
| 12 | Alors ces hommes dirent à Lot: Qui as-tu encore ici qui t'appartienne, soit gendre, soit fils, ou filles, ou quelque autre qui t'appartienne en la ville? Fais-les sortir de ce lieu. | And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son-in-law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whomsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of the place: | Allora quegli uomini dissero a Lot: Chi altro hai tu qui? Fa' uscire da questo luogo i tuoi generi, i tuoi figli e le tue figlie, e chiunque tu abbia in città, |
| 13 | Car nous allons détruire ce lieu, parce que leur cri est devenu grand devant l'Eternel, et il nous a envoyés pour le détruire. | for we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxed great before Jehovah: and Jehovah hath sent us to destroy it. | poiché noi stiamo per distruggere questo luogo, perché il grido dei suoi abitanti è grande davanti all'Eterno e l'Eterno ci ha mandati a distruggerlo. |
| 14 | Lot sortit donc et parla à ses gendres, qui devaient prendre ses filles, et leur dit: Levez-vous, sortez de ce lieu, car l'Eternel va détruire la ville; mais il semblait à ses gendres qu'il se moquait. | And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons-in-law, who married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for Jehovah will destroy the city. But he seemed unto his sons-in-law as one that mocked. | Allora Lot uscì e parlò ai suoi generi che avevano sposato le sue figlie, e disse: Levatevi, uscite da questo luogo, perché l'Eterno sta per distruggere la città. Ma ai generi parve che egli volesse scherzare. |
| 15 | Et sitôt que l'aube du jour fut levée, les Anges pressèrent Lot, en disant: Lève-toi, prends ta femme et tes deux filles qui se trouvent ici, de peur que tu ne périsses dans la punition de la ville. | And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters that are here, lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city. | Come spuntò l'alba, gli angeli sollecitarono Lot, dicendo: Levati, prendi tua moglie e le tue figlie che si trovano qui, affinché tu non perisca nel castigo di questa città. |
| 16 | Et comme il tardait, ces hommes le prirent par la main, et ils prirent aussi par la main sa femme et ses deux filles, parce que l'Eternel l'épargnait; et ils l'emmenèrent, et le mirent hors de la ville. | But he lingered; and the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters, Jehovah being merciful unto him; and they brought him forth, and set him without the city. | Ma siccome egli si indugiava, quegli uomini presero per mano lui, sua moglie e le sue due figlie, perché l'Eterno aveva avuto misericordia di lui, lo fecero uscire e lo condussero in salvo fuori della città. |
| 17 | Or, dès qu'ils les eurent fait sortir, l'un dit: Sauve ta vie, ne regarde point derrière toi, et ne t'arrête en aucun endroit de la plaine; sauve-toi sur la montagne, de peur que tu ne périsses. | And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the Plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. | Come essi li conducevano fuori uno di loro disse: Fuggi per salvare la tua vita! Non guardare indietro e non ti fermare in alcun luogo della pianura; salvati al monte che tu non abbia a perire!. |
| 18 | Et Lot leur répondit: Non, Seigneur, je te prie. | And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my lord: | Ma Lot rispose loro: No, mio signore! |
| 19 | Voici, ton serviteur a maintenant trouvé grâce devant toi, et la gratuité que tu m'as faite de préserver ma vie est merveilleusement grande, mais je ne me pourrai sauver vers la montagne, que le mal ne m'atteigne, et que je ne meure. | behold now, thy servant hath found favor in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy lovingkindness, which thou hast showed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest evil overtake me, and I die: | Ecco, il tuo servo ha trovato grazia agli occhi tuoi e tu hai usato grande misericordia verso di me, salvandomi la vita; ma io non riuscirò a raggiungere il monte prima che il disastro mi sopraggiunga ed io perisca. |
| 20 | Voici, je te prie, cette ville-là est proche; je puis m'y enfuir, et elle est petite; je te prie, que je m'y sauve; n'est-elle pas petite? Et mon âme vivra. | behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one. Oh let me escape thither (is it not a little one?), and my soul shall live. | Ecco, questa città è abbastanza vicina per potervi arrivare, ed è piccola. Deh, lascia che io fugga là (non è essa piccola?), e così avrò salva la vita. |
| 21 | Et il lui dit: Voici, je t'ai exaucé encore en cela, de ne détruire point la ville dont tu as parlé. | And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow the city of which thou hast spoken. | L'angelo gli disse: Ecco, io ti concedo anche questa richiesta: di non distruggere la città, di cui hai parlato. |
| 22 | Hâte-toi, sauve-toi là, car je ne pourrai rien faire jusqu'à ce que tu y sois entré; c'est pourquoi cette ville fut appelée Tsohar. | Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar. | Affrettati, fuggi là, perché io non posso fare nulla finché tu vi sia giunto. Perciò quella città fu chiamata Tsoar. |
| 23 | Comme le soleil se levait sur la terre, Lot entra dans Tsohar. | The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot came unto Zoar. | Il sole si levava sulla terra quando Lot arrivò a Tsoar. |
| 24 | Alors l'Eternel fit pleuvoir des cieux, sur Sodome et sur Gomorrhe, du soufre et du feu, de la part de l'Eternel; | Then Jehovah rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from Jehovah out of heaven; | Allora l'Eterno fece piovere dal cielo su Sodoma e Gomorra zolfo e fuoco, da parte dell'Eterno. |
| 25 | et il détruisit ces villes-là, et toute la plaine, et tous les habitants des villes, et le germe de la terre. | and he overthrew those cities, and all the Plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. | Così egli distrusse quelle città, tutta la pianura, tutti gli abitanti della città e quanto cresceva sul suolo. |
| 26 | Mais la femme de Lot regarda en arrière, et elle devint une statue de sel. | But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. | Ma la moglie di Lot si volse a guardare indietro e diventò una statua di sale. |
| 27 | Et Abraham, se levant de bon matin, vint au lieu où il s'était tenu devant l'Eternel; | And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he had stood before Jehovah: | Abrahamo si levò al mattino presto e andò al luogo dove si era fermato davanti all'Eterno; |
| 28 | et, regardant vers Sodome et Gomorrhe, et vers toute la terre de cette plaine-là, il vit monter de la terre une fumée comme la fumée d'une fournaise. | and he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the Plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the land went up as the smoke of a furnace. | poi guardò verso Sodoma e Gomorra e verso tutta la regione della pianura, ed ecco vide un fumo che si levava dalla terra, come il fumo di una fornace |
| 29 | Mais il était arrivé lors que Dieu détruisit les villes de la plaine, qu'il s'était souvenu d'Abraham, et avait envoyé Lot hors de la subversion, quand il détruisit les villes où Lot habitait. | And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the Plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt. | Così avvenne che, quando DIO distrusse la città della pianura, DIO si ricordò di Abrahamo e fece allontanare Lot di mezzo al disastro, quando distrusse le città dove Lot aveva dimorato. |
| 30 | Et Lot monta de Tsohar, et habita sur la montagne avec ses deux filles, car il craignait de demeurer dans Tsohar, et il se retira dans une caverne avec ses deux filles. | And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters. | Poi lot uscì da Tsoar e andò ad abitare sul monte insieme con le sue due figlie, perché aveva paura di stare a Tsoar; e si stabilì in una caverna con le sue due figlie. |
| 31 | Et l'aînée dit à la plus jeune: Notre père est vieux, et il n'y a personne sur la terre pour venir vers nous, selon la coutume de tous les pays. | And the first-born said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth: | Ora la maggiore disse alla minore: Nostro padre è vecchio, e non vi è più alcun uomo nel paese che possa unirsi a noi, come si usa su tutta la terra. |
| 32 | Viens, donnons du vin à notre père, et couchons avec lui; afin que nous conservions la race de notre père. | come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father. | vieni, facciamo bere del vino a nostro padre e corichiamoci con lui; così potremo assicurare una discendenza a nostro padre. |
| 33 | Elles donnèrent donc du vin à boire à leur père cette nuit-là; et l'aînée vint, et coucha avec son père, mais il ne s'aperçut point ni quand elle se coucha, ni quand elle se leva. | And they made their father drink wine that night: and the first-born went in, and lay with her father; and he knew not when she lay down, nor when she arose. | Così quella stessa notte fecero bere del vino al loro padre; e la maggiore entrò e si coricò con suo padre: ed egli non si accorse né quando ella si coricò né quando si levò. |
| 34 | Et le lendemain l'aînée dit à la plus jeune: Voici, j'ai couché la nuit passée avec mon père, donnons-lui encore cette nuit du vin à boire, puis va, et couche avec lui, et nous conserverons la race de notre père. | And it came to pass on the morrow, that the first-born said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father. | All'indomani la maggiore disse alla minore: ecco, la notte scorsa io mi sono coricata con mio padre; Facciamogli bere del vino anche questa notte; poi tu entra e coricati con lui, affinché possiamo assicurare una discendenza a nostro padre. |
| 35 | En cette nuit-là donc elles donnèrent encore du vin à boire à leur père, et la plus jeune se leva et coucha avec lui; mais il ne s'aperçut point ni quand elle se coucha, ni quand elle se leva. | And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he knew not when she lay down, nor when she arose. | Anche quella notte fecero bere del vino al loro padre, e la minore andò a coricarsi con lui; ed egli non si accorse né quando ella si coricò né quando si levò. |
| 36 | Ainsi les deux filles de Lot conçurent de leur père. | Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father. | Così le due figlie di Lot rimasero incinte per mezzo del loro padre. |
| 37 | Et l'aînée enfanta un fils, et appela son nom Moab; c'est le père des Moabites jusqu'à ce jour. | And the first-born bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of the Moabites unto this day. | La maggiore diede alla luce un figlio, al quale pose nome Moab. Questi è il padre dei Moabiti, che sussistono fino al giorno d'oggi. |
| 38 | Et la plus jeune aussi enfanta un fils, et appela son nom Ben-Hammi; c'est le père des enfants de Hammon jusqu'à ce jour. | And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Ben-ammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day. | Anche la minore partorì un figlio, al quale pose nome Ben-Ammi. Questi è il padre degli Ammoniti, ce sussistono fino al giorno d'oggi. |
