Seigneur Yahweh, vas-tu détruire tout ce qui reste d'Israël, en répandant ta colère sur Jérusalem ?" | And it came to pass, while they were smiting, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord Jehovah! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy wrath upon Jerusalem? | Mentre essi facevano strage ed io ero rimasto solo, caddi sulla mia faccia e gridai, dicendo: Ah, Signore, Eterno, distruggerai tu tutto il residuo d'Israele, riversando il tuo furore su Gerusalemme?. |
| 9 | Il me dit : "L'iniquité de la maison d'Israël et de Juda est grande, très grande. Le pays est rempli de sang et la ville est pleine d'injustices, car ils disent : "Yahweh abandonne le pays, Yahweh ne voit rien! | Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of wrestling [of judgment]: for they say, Jehovah hath forsaken the land, and Jehovah seeth not. | Egli mi rispose: L'iniquità della casa d'Israele e di Giuda è estremamente grande; il paese è pieno di sangue e la città è piena di depravazione. Infatti dicono: "L'Eterno ha abbandonato il paese, l'Eterno non vede". |
| 10 | Moi aussi, mon oeil n'épargnera point et je serai sans pitié; je ferai retomber leurs oeuvres sur leurs têtes." | And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will bring their way upon their head. | Perciò anche il mio occhio non avrà compassione e non userò alcuna pietà, ma farò ricadere sul loro capo la loro condotta. |
| 11 | Et voici que l'homme vêtu de lin, qui portait une écritoire à sa ceinture, vint rendre compte en disant : "J'ai fait comme tu m'as commandé." | And behold, the man clothed in linen, who had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me. | Ed ecco l'uomo vestito di lino, che aveva un calamaio di corno da scriba al fianco, fece il suo rapporto, dicendo: Ho fatto come mi hai comandato. |
