So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold, northward of the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry. | Quindi egli mi disse: Figlio d'uomo, alza ora i tuoi occhi verso il nord. Et tu verras encore d'autres grandes abominations." | And he said unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel do commit here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but thou shalt again see yet other great abominations. | Ed egli mi disse: Figlio d'uomo, vedi ciò che fanno costoro, le grandi abominazioni che qui commette la casa d'Israele e che mi fanno allontanare dal mio santuario? | 7 | Et il me conduisit à l'entrée du parvis, et je vis : et voici qu'il y avait un trou dans le mur! et il me dit : | And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold, a hole in the wall. | Così egli mi condusse all'ingresso del cortile. Io guardai, ed ecco un buco nella parete. |
| 8 | "Fils de l'homme, perce donc la muraille."Et je perçai la muraille, et voici qu'il y avait une porte. | Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold, a door. | Allora mi disse: Figlio d'uomo, fa' un foro nella parete. Così feci un foro nella parete, ed ecco un'apertura. |
| 9 | Et il me dit : "Viens et vois les horribles abominations qu'ils commettent ici." | And he said unto me, Go in, and see the wicked abominations that they do here. | Egli mi disse: Entra e guarda le malvagie abominazioni che costoro commettono qui. |
| 10 | Et je vins et je vis : et voici qu'il y avait toutes sortes de figures de reptiles et d'animaux immondes, et toutes les horreurs de la maison d'Israël dessinées sur la muraille tout autour. | So I went in and saw; and behold, every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed upon the wall round about. | Così entrai a guardare, ed ecco ogni sorta di rettili e di bestie abominevoli e tutti gl'idoli della casa d'Israele, intagliati tutt'intorno sulla parete. |
| 11 | Et soixante-dix hommes d'entre les anciens de la maison d'Israël, parmi lesquels était Jézonias, fils de Saphan, se tenaient debout devant elles, et chacun avait à la main son encensoir, d'où s'élevait le parfum d'un nuage d'encens. | And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel; and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, every man with his censer in his hand; and the odor of the cloud of incense went up. | E davanti ad essi stavano settanta uomini fra gli anziani della casa d'Israele, in mezzo ai quali era Jaazaniah, figlio di Shafan, ciascuno con il suo turibolo in mano, dal quale saliva una densa nuvola d'incenso. |
| 12 | Et il me dit : "As-tu vu, fils de l'homme, ce que les anciens de la maison d'Israël font dans les ténèbres, chacun dans ses appartements couverts de figures, car ils disent : Yahweh ne nous voit pas; Yahweh a abandonné le pays!" | Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his chambers of imagery? for they say, Jehovah seeth us not; Jehovah hath forsaken the land. | Quindi mi disse: Figlio d'uomo, hai visto ciò che gli anziani della casa d'Israele fanno nell'oscurità, ciascuno nella camera delle sue immagini? | 13 | Et il me dit : "Tu verras encore d'autres grandes abominations qu'ils commettent." | He said also unto me, Thou shalt again see yet other great abominations which they do. | Poi mi disse: Tu vedrai abominazioni ancora più grandi che commettono. |
| 14 | Et il me conduisit à l'entrée de la porte de la maison de Yahweh qui regarde le septentrion; et voici que les femmes y étaient assises, pleurant le dieu Thammuz. | Then he brought me to the door of the gate of Jehovah`s house which was toward the north; and behold, there sat the women weeping for Tammuz. | Allora mi condusse all'ingresso della porta della casa dell'Eterno, che è verso il nord; ed ecco, là sedevano donne che piangevano Tammuz. |
| 15 | Et il me dit : "As-tu vu, fils de l'homme ? Tu verras encore d'autres abominations plus grandes que celles-là." | Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen [this], O son of man? thou shalt again see yet greater abominations than these. | Quindi mi disse: Hai visto, figlio d'uomo? Tu vedrai abominazioni ancora più grandi di queste. |
| 16 | Et il me conduisit alors dans le parvis intérieur de la maison de Yahweh; et voici qu'à l'entrée de la maison de Yahweh, entre le portique et l'autel, il y avait environ vingt-cinq hommes, le dos tourné au temple de Yahweh, et le visage vers l'orient; et ils se prosternaient à l'orient devant le soleil. | And he brought me into the inner court of Jehovah`s house; and behold, at the door of the temple of Jehovah, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of Jehovah, and their faces toward the east; and they were worshipping the sun toward the east. | Allora mi condusse nel cortile interno della casa dell'Eterno; ed ecco, all'ingresso del tempio, dell'Eterno, fra il portico e l'altare, circa venticinque uomini, con le spalle voltate al tempio dell'Eterno e la faccia rivolta a est, che adoravano il sole a est. |
| 17 | Et il me dit : "As-tu vu, fils de l'homme ? Est-ce trop peu pour la maison de Juda de commettre les abominations qu'ils commettent ici ? Faut-il qu'ils remplissent encore le pays de violence, et qu'ils recommencent toujours à m'irriter ? Voici qu'ils portent le rameau à leur nez. | Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen [this], O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have turned again to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose. | Poi mi disse: Hai visto, figlio d'uomo? E' forse piccola cosa per la casa di Giuda commettere le abominazioni che commette qui? Essi infatti hanno riempito il paese di violenza e mi hanno ripetutamente provocato ad ira. | 18 | Et moi aussi, j'agirai avec colère; mon oeil n'épargnera point, et je serai sans pitié; ils crieront à haute voix à mes oreilles, et je ne les entendrai point." | Therefore will I also deal in wrath; mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them. | Perciò anch'io agirò con furore; il mio occhio non avrà compassione e non userò alcuna pietà.
