| 4 | Mon oeil ne t'épargnera pas, et je serai sans pitié; car je ferai retomber sur toi tes oeuvres, et tes abominations seront au milieu de toi; et vous saurez que je suis Yahweh. | And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity; but I will bring thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am Jehovah. | Il mio occhio non ti risparmierà e non avrò pietà, ma ti farò ricadere addosso le tue vie, e le tue abominazioni saranno in mezzo a te; allora riconoscerete che io sono l'Eterno. |

Du tumulte!... et non le cri de joie sur les montagnes. | Thy doom is come unto thee, O inhabitant of the land: the time is come, the day is near, [a day of] tumult, and not [of] joyful shouting, upon the mountains. | E' giunta su di te la rovina, o abitante del paese. Il tempo è arrivato è vicino il giorno dei guai e non di grida di gioia sui monti. |
| 8 | Maintenant, je vais sans tarder répandre mon courroux sur toi; j'assouvirai sur toi ma colère, je te jugerai selon tes voies, et je ferai retomber sur toi toutes tes abominations. | Now will I shortly pour out my wrath upon thee, and accomplish mine anger against thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways; and I will bring upon thee all thine abominations. | Ora, tra poco, verserò il mio furore su di te e sfogherò su di te la mia ira, ti giudicherò secondo le tue vie e ti farò ricadere addosso tutte le tue abominazioni. |

| 10 | Voici le jour; voici qu'il vient; ton sort est arrivé; la verge fleurit, l'orgueil éclôt. | Behold, the day, behold, it cometh: thy doom is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded. | Ecco il giorno, eccolo giunto. E' arrivata la rovina. La verga è fiorita, l'orgoglio è sbocciato. |
| 11 | La violence s'élève, pour être la verge de l'impiété. Il ne restera rien d'eux, ni de leur multitude, ni de leur tumulte, et ils n'auront plus d'éclat. | Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness; none of them [shall remain], nor of their multitude, nor of their wealth: neither shall there be eminency among them. | La violenza è cresciuta come verga di empietà. Non rimarrà nessuno di essi, nessuno della loro moltitudine, nessuno di essi; non ci sarà alcun lamento per loro. |
| 12 | Le temps vient, le jour approche! Que l'acheteur ne se réjouisse pas, et que le vendeur ne s'afflige point; car la colère va éclater sur toute leur multitude. | The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof. | Il tempo è arrivato, il giorno si avvicina. Chi compra non si rallegri, chi vende non si addolori, perché un'ira ardente sovrasta su tutta la loro moltitudine. |
| 13 | Le vendeur ne rentrera pas en possession de ce qu'il aura vendu, fût-il encore parmi les vivants; car la vision contre toute leur multitude ne sera point révoquée, et nul par son péché n'assurera sa vie. | For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they be yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, none shall return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life. | Poiché chi vende non tornerà in possesso di ciò che ha venduto, anche se rimarrà ancora in vita, perché la visione riguarda tutta la sua moltitudine e non sarà revocata, e nessuno potrà preservare la propria vita, vivendo nell'iniquità. |

| 15 | Au dehors, l'épée; au dedans, la peste et la famine; celui qui est aux champs mourra par l'épée, et celui qui est dans la ville, la famine et la peste le dévoreront. | The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword: and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him. | Di fuori la spada, di dentro la peste e la fame. Chi è nei campi morirà per la spada, chi è in città sarà divorato dalla fame e dalla peste. |
| 16 | Si des fugitifs parmi eux s'enfuient, ils erreront sur les montagnes comme les colombes des vallées, tous gémissant, chacun pour son péché. | But those of them that escape shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, every one in his iniquity. | Ma i loro fuggiaschi che riusciranno a mettersi in salvo staranno su per i monti come le colombe della valle, tutti gemendo ciascuno per la propria iniquità. |

| 18 | Ils se revêtent de sacs, et la terreur les enveloppe; la confusion est sur tous les visages, et toutes les têtes sont rasées. | They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads. | Si vestiranno di sacco e lo spavento li coprirà, la vergogna sarà su tutti i volti e la calvizie su tutte le loro teste. |
| 19 | Ils jetteront leur argent dans les rues, et leur or sera pour eux de l'ordure; leur argent et leur or ne pourront les délivrer; au jour de la colère de Yahweh; ils n'en rassasieront pas leur âme, et n'en rempliront pas leurs entrailles; car c'est là ce qui les a fait tomber dans l'iniquité. | They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be as an unclean thing; their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of Jehovah: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels; because it hath been the stumblingblock of their iniquity. | Getteranno il loro argento per le strade e il loro oro diventerà un'immondezza. | 22 | Je détournerai d'eux mon visage, et on souillera mon trésor; des hommes de violence y entreront et le souilleront. | My face will I turn also from them, and they shall profane my secret [place]; and robbers shall enter into it, and profane it. | Distoglierò da loro la mia faccia ed essi profaneranno il mio luogo segreto; vi entreranno uomini violenti e lo profaneranno. |
| 23 | Prépare les chaînes; car le pays est rempli d'attentats, et la ville de violences. | Make the chain; for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence. | Prepara una catena, perché il paese è pieno di delitti di sangue e la città è piena di violenza. |
| 24 | Et je ferai venir les plus méchants d'entre les peuples, et ils s'empareront de leurs maisons, et ils mettront fin à l'orgueil des puissants; et leurs lieux saints seront profanés. | Wherefore I will bring the worst of the nations, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pride of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be profaned. | Farò venire le nazioni malvagie che s'impadroniranno delle loro case; farò venir meno la superbia dei potenti e i loro luoghi sacri saranno profanati. |
| 25 | La ruine vient; ils chercheront la paix, et il n'y en aura point. | Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none. | La distruzione giunge. Essi cercheranno la pace, ma non vi sarà. |
| 26 | Il arrivera malheur sur malheur, et nouvelle sur nouvelle; et ils chercheront des visions auprès des prophètes, et la loi fera défaut au prêtre, et le conseil aux anciens. | Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumor shall be upon rumor; and they shall seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders. | Verrà calamità su calamità, e ci saranno cattive notizie dietro cattive notizie. Allora chiederanno una visione a un profeta, ma la legge verrà meno al sacerdote e il consiglio agli anziani. |

Je les traiterai d'après leurs oeuvres, je les jugerai selon leurs mérites; et ils sauront que je suis Yahweh. | The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am Jehovah. | Il re sarà in lutto, il principe si vestirà di desolazione e le mani del popolo del paese saranno prese da spavento. Io li tratterò secondo la loro condotta e li giudicherò secondo i loro giudizi; allora riconosceranno che io sono l'Eterno. |
