| 5 | Car l'Eternel avait dit à Moïse: dis aux enfants d'Israël: vous êtes un peuple de col roide; je monterai en un moment au milieu de toi, et je te consumerai. Maintenant donc ôte tes ornements de dessus toi, et je saurai ce que je te ferai. | And Jehovah said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people; if I go up into the midst of thee for one moment, I shall consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee. | Infatti l'Eterno aveva detto a Mosè: Di'ai figli d'Israele: "Voi siete un popolo dal collo duro; se io salissi per un solo momento in mezzo a te, ti consumerei Perciò ora togliti i tuoi ornamenti e così saprò ciò ce devo fare con te". |
| 6 | Ainsi les enfants d'Israël se dépouillèrent de leurs ornements, vers la montagne d'Horeb. | And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments from mount Horeb onward. | Così i figli d'Israele si spogliarono dei loro ornamenti, dalla partenza del monte Horeb in poi. |
| 7 | Et Moïse prit un pavillon, et le tendit pour soi hors du camp, l'éloignant du camp; et il l'appela le pavillon d'assignation; et tous ceux qui cherchaient l'Eternel, sortaient vers le pavillon d'assignation, qui était hors du camp. | Now Moses used to take the tent and to pitch it without the camp, afar off from the camp; and he called it, The tent of meeting. And it came to pass, that every one that sought Jehovah went out unto the tent of meeting, which was without the camp. | Quindi Mosè prese la tenda e la piantò fuori dell'accampamento, lontano dall'accampamento, e la chiamò la tenda di convegno; chiunque cercava l'Eterno, usciva verso la tenda di convegno, che era fuori dell'accampamento. |
| 8 | Et il arrivait qu'aussitôt que Moïse sortait vers le pavillon, tout le peuple se levait, et chacun se tenait à l'entrée de sa tente, et regardait Moïse par derrière, jusqu’à ce qu'il fût entré dans le pavillon. | And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the Tent, that all the people rose up, and stood, every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the Tent. | Quando Mosè usciva per recarsi alla tenda, tutto il popolo si alzava, e ognuno se ne stava ritto all'ingresso della propria tenda e seguiva con lo sguardo Mosè, finché egli fosse entrato nella tenda |
| 9 | Et sitôt que Moïse était entré dans le pavillon, la colonne de nuée descendait, et s'arrêtait à la porte du pavillon, et l'Eternel parlait avec Moïse. | And it came to pass, when Moses entered into the Tent, the pillar of cloud descended, and stood at the door of the Tent: and [Jehovah] spake with Moses. | Come Mosè entrava nella tenda, la colonna di nuvola scendeva e si fermava all'ingresso della tenda, e l'Eterno parlava con Mosè. |
| 10 | Et tout le peuple voyant la colonne de nuée s'arrêtant à la porte du pavillon, se levait, et chacun se prosternait à la porte de sa tente. | And all the people saw the pillar of cloud stand at the door of the Tent: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man at his tent door. | Tutto il popolo vedeva la colonna di nuvola ferma all'ingresso della tenda; quindi tutto il popolo si alzava e ciascuno si prostrava all'ingresso della propria tenda. |
| 11 | Et l'Eternel parlait à Moïse face à face; comme un homme parle avec son intime ami; puis Moïse retournait au camp, mais son serviteur Josué fils de Nun, jeune homme, ne bougeait point du pavillon. | And Jehovah spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his minister Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the Tent. | Così l'Eterno parlava con Mosè faccia a faccia, come un uomo parla col proprio amico; poi Mosè tornava all'accampamento. Ma Giosuè, figlio di Nun, suo giovane ministro, non si allontanava dalla tenda. |
| 12 | Moïse donc dit à l'Eternel: regarde, tu m'as dit: fais monter ce peuple, et tu ne m'as point fait connaître celui que tu dois envoyer avec moi; tu as même dit: je te connais par ton nom, et aussi, tu as trouvé grâce devant mes yeux | And Moses said unto Jehovah, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found favor in my sight. | Poi Mosè disse all'Eterno: Vedi, tu mi dici: "Fa' salire questo popolo". Ma tu non mi hai fatto sapere chi manderai con me. Eppure hai detto: "Io ti conosco personalmente e hai pure trovato grazia ai miei occhi". |
| 13 | Or maintenant, je te prie, si j'ai trouvé grâce devant tes yeux, fais-moi connaître ton chemin, et je te connaîtrai, afin que je trouve grâce devant tes yeux; considère aussi que cette nation est ton peuple. | Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found favor in thy sight, show me now thy ways, that I may know thee, to the end that I may find favor in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. | Perciò ora, se ho trovato grazia ai tuoi occhi, deh, fammi conoscere le tue vie, perché ti conosca e possa trovare grazia ai tuoi occhi. Considera inoltre che questa nazione è tuo popolo. |
| 14 | Et l'Eternel dit: ma face ira, et je te donnerai du repos. | And he said, My presence shall go [with thee], and I will give thee rest. | L'Eterno rispose: La mia presenza andrà con te, e ti darò riposo. |
| 15 | Et Moïse lui dit: si ta face ne vient, ne nous fais point monter d'ici. | And he said unto him, If thy presence go not [with me], carry us not up hence. | Mosè allora gli disse: Se la tua presenza non viene con me, non farci partire di qui. |
| 16 | Car en quoi connaîtra-t-on que nous ayons trouvé grâce devant tes yeux, moi et ton peuple? Ne sera-ce pas quand tu marcheras avec nous? et alors moi et ton peuple serons en admiration, plus que tous les peuples qui sont sur la terre. | For wherein now shall it be known that I have found favor in thy sight, I and thy people? is it not in that thou goest with us, so that we are separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth? | Come si potrà ora conoscere che io e il tuo popolo abbiamo trovato grazia ai tuoi occhi Non è forse perché tu vieni con noi? Così noi saremo distinti, io e il tuo popolo, da tutti i popoli che sono sulla faccia della terra. |
| 17 | Et l'Eternel dit à Moïse: je ferai aussi ce que tu dis; car tu as trouvé grâce devant mes yeux, et je t'ai connu par ton nom. | And Jehovah said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken; for thou hast found favor in my sight, and I know thee by name. | L'Eterno disse a Mosè: Farò anche questa a che hai chiesto, poiché tu hai trovato grazia ai miei occhi e ti conosco personalmente. |
| 18 | Moïse dit aussi: je te prie, fais-moi voir ta gloire. | And he said, Show me, I pray thee, thy glory. | Allora Mosè disse: Deh, fammi vedere la tua gloria!. |
| 19 | Et Dieu dit: je ferai passer toute ma bonté devant ta face, et je crierai le nom de l'Eternel devant toi; et je ferai grâce à qui je ferai grâce, et j'aurai compassion de celui de qui j'aurai compassion. | And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and will proclaim the name of Jehovah before thee; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy. | L'Eterno gli rispose: Io farò passare davanti a te tutta la mia bontà e proclamerò il nome dell'Eterno davanti a te. Farò grazia a chi farò grazia e avrò pietà di chi avrò pietà. |
| 20 | Puis il dit: tu ne pourras pas voir ma face; car nul homme ne peut me voir, et vivre. | And he said, Thou canst not see my face; for man shall not see me and live. | Disse ancora: Tu non puoi vedere la mia faccia, perché nessun uomo mi può vedere e vivere. |
| 21 | L'Eternel dit aussi: voici, il y a un lieu par-devers moi, et tu t'arrêteras sur le rocher; | and Jehovah said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon the rock: | Quindi l'Eterno disse: Ecco un luogo vicino a me; tu starai sulla roccia; |
| 22 | Et quand ma gloire passera, je te mettrai dans l'ouverture du rocher, et te couvrirai de ma main, jusqu’à ce que je sois passé; | and it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a cleft of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand until I have passed by: | e mentre passerà la mia gloria, io ti metterò in una fenditura della roccia e ti coprirò con la mia mano, finché io sia passato; |
| 23 | Puis je retirerai ma main, et tu me verras par derrière, mais ma face ne se verra point. | and I will take away my hand, and thou shalt see my back; but my face shall not be seen. | poi ritirerò la mano e mi vedrai di spalle; ma la mia faccia non si può vedere. |
