| 2 | Parle aux enfants d'Israël; et qu'ils retournent et campent devant Pi-Hahiroth, entre Migdol et la mer, devant Baal-Tsephon; vous camperez vis-à-vis de ce lieu, près de la mer. | Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn back and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, before Baal-zephon: over against it shall ye encamp by the sea. | Di' ai figli d'Israele che tornino indietro e si accampino di fronte a Pi-Hahiroth, fra Migdol e i mare, di fronte a Baal-Tsefon; accampatevi davanti a quel luogo presso il mare. |
| 3 | Et Pharaon dira des enfants d'Israël: Ils sont égarés dans le pays; le désert les a enfermés. | And Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in. | Il Faraone dirà allora dei figli d'Israele: "Essi stanno vagando smarriti nel paese; il deserto li tiene rinchiusi". |
| 4 | Et j'endurcirai le coeur de Pharaon, et il les poursuivra; mais je serai glorifié en Pharaon et dans toute son armée, et les Égyptiens sauront que je suis l'Éternel. Et ils firent ainsi. | And I will harden Pharaoh`s heart, and he shall follow after them; and I will get me honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host: and the Egyptians shall know that I am Jehovah. And they did so. | E io indurirò il cuore del Faraone, ed egli li inseguirà; ma io trarrò gloria dal Faraone e da tutto il suo esercito, e gli Egiziani sapranno che io sono l'Eterno. Ed essi fecero così. |
| 5 | Or, on rapporta au roi d'Égypte que le peuple s'était enfui. Et le coeur de Pharaon et de ses serviteurs fut changé à l'égard du peuple, et ils dirent: Qu'est-ce que nous avons fait, que nous ayons laissé aller Israël, en sorte qu'il ne nous serve plus? | And it was told the king of Egypt that the people were fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was changed towards the people, and they said, What is this we have done, that we have let Israel go from serving us? | Fu quindi riferito al re d'Egitto che il popolo era fuggito; e il cuore del Faraone e dei suoi servi mutò nei confronti del popolo, e dissero: Che abbiamo fatto a lasciare andare Israele dal nostro servizio?. |
| 6 | Alors il attela son char et il prit son peuple avec lui. | And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him: | Così il Faraone fece preparare il suo carro e prese con sé il suo popolo. |
| 7 | Il prit six cents chars d'élite et tous les chars d'Égypte, et des combattants sur chacun d'eux. | and he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over all of them. | Prese anche seicento carri scelti e tutti i carri d'Egitto, con dei guerrieri su ognuno di essi. |
| 8 | Et l'Éternel endurcit le coeur de Pharaon, roi d'Égypte, et il poursuivit les enfants d'Israël. Or les enfants d'Israël étaient sortis à main levée. | And Jehovah hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: for the children of Israel went out with a high hand. | E l'Eterno indurì il cuore del Faraone, re d'Egitto, ed egli inseguì i figli d'Israele, che uscivano pieni di baldanza. |
| 9 | Les Égyptiens les poursuivirent; et tous les chevaux des chars de Pharaon, ses cavaliers et son armée les atteignirent, comme ils étaient campés près de la mer, près de Pi-Hahiroth, vis-à-vis de Baal-Tsephon. | And the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses [and] chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baal-zephon. | Gli Egiziani li inseguirono; e tutti i cavalli, i carri del Faraone, i suoi cavalieri e il suo esercito li raggiunsero quando erano accampati presso il mare, vicino a Pi-Hahiroth, di fronte a Baal-Tsefon. |
| 10 | Et comme Pharaon approchait, les enfants d'Israël levèrent les yeux, et voici, les Égyptiens marchaient après eux. Alors les enfants d'Israël eurent une fort grande peur, et crièrent à l'Éternel. | And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians were marching after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto Jehovah. | Mentre il Faraone si avvicinava, i figli d'Israele alzarono gli occhi; ed ecco, gli Egiziani marciavano dietro loro, per cui ebbero una gran paura; e i figli d'Israele gridarono all'Eterno, |
| 11 | Et ils dirent à Moïse: Est-ce qu'il n'y avait pas de tombeaux en Égypte, que tu nous aies emmenés pour mourir au désert? Qu'est-ce que tu nous a fait, de nous faire sortir d'Égypte? | And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to bring us forth out of Egypt? | e dissero a Mosè: E' perché non c'erano tombe in Egitto, che ci hai condotti a morire nel deserto? Perché hai fatto questo con noi, di farci uscire dall'Egitto? |
| 12 | N'est-ce pas ce que nous te disions en Égypte: Laisse-nous servir les Égyptiens; car il nous vaut mieux servir les Égyptiens, que de mourir au désert? | Is not this the word that we spake unto thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it were better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. | Non era forse questo che ti parlavamo in Egitto, dicendoti: "lasciaci stare, così potremo servire gli Egiziani"? Poiché sarebbe stato meglio per noi servire gli Egiziani che morire nel deserto. |
| 13 | Et Moïse dit au peuple: Ne craignez point; tenez-vous là, et voyez la délivrance de l'Éternel, qu'il vous accordera aujourd'hui; car les Égyptiens que vous avez vus aujourd'hui, vous ne les reverrez jamais plus. | And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of Jehovah, which he will work for you to-day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to-day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. | Ma Mosè disse al popolo: Non temete, state fermi e vedrete la liberazione dell'Eterno, che egli compirà oggi per voi; poiché gli Egiziani che oggi vedete, non li vedrete mai più. |
| 14 | L'Éternel combattra pour vous, et vous, vous resterez tranquilles. | Jehovah will fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. | L'Eterno combatterà per voi, e voi ve ne starete tranquilli. |
| 15 | Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Pourquoi cries-tu à moi? Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et qu'ils marchent. | And Jehovah said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward. | Quindi l'Eterno disse a Mosè: Perché gridi a me? Di' ai figli d'Israele di andare avanti. |
| 16 | Et toi, élève ta verge, et étends ta main sur la mer, et fends-la; et que les enfants d'Israël entrent au milieu de la mer, à sec. | And lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thy hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go into the midst of the sea on dry ground. | E tu alza il tuo bastone, stendi la tua mano sul mare e dividilo, affinché i figli d'Israele possano passare in mezzo al mare all'asciutto. |
| 17 | Et moi, voici, je vais endurcir le coeur des Égyptiens, et ils y entreront après eux; et je serai glorifié en Pharaon et en toute son armée, en ses chars et en ses cavaliers. | And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall go in after them: and I will get me honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. | Quanto a me, io indurirò il cuore degli Egiziani, ed essi l'inseguiranno. Così io trarrò gloria dal Faraone, da tutto il suo esercito, dai suoi carri e dai suoi cavalieri. |
| 18 | Et les Égyptiens sauront que je suis l'Éternel, quand je serai glorifié en Pharaon, en ses chars et en ses cavaliers. | And the Egyptians shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have gotten me honor upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. | E gli Egiziani sapranno che io sono l'Eterno, quando trarrò gloria dal Faraone, dai suoi carri e dai suoi cavalieri. |
| 19 | Et l'ange de Dieu, qui allait devant le camp d'Israël, partit et alla derrière eux; et la colonne de nuée partit de devant eux, et se tint derrière eux; | And the angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud removed from before them, and stood behind them: | Allora l'Angelo di DIO, che camminava davanti all'accampamento d'Israele, si spostò e andò a mettersi dietro loro; anche la colonna di nuvola si mosse dal davanti e andò a mettersi dietro a loro. |
| 20 | Et elle vint entre le camp des Égyptiens et le camp d'Israël. Et elle fut d'un côté une nuée obscure; mais, de l'autre, elle éclairait la nuit; et ils ne s'approchèrent point les uns des autres de toute la nuit. | and it came between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel; and there was the cloud and the darkness, yet gave it light by night: and the one came not near the other all the night. | Andò così a mettersi tra l'accampamento dell'Egitto e l'accampamento d'Israele; e la nube produceva tenebre per gli uni, mentre faceva luce agli altri di notte. Così per tutta la notte l'uno non si avvicinò all'altro. |
| 21 | Or, Moïse étendit la main sur la mer, et l'Éternel refoula la mer, toute la nuit, par un fort vent d'Orient; et il mit la mer à sec, et les eaux se fendirent. | And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and Jehovah caused the sea to go [back] by a strong east wind all the night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. | Allora Mosè stese la sua mano sul mare; e l'Eterno fece ritirare il mare con un forte vento orientale tutta quella notte e cambiò il mare in terra asciutta; e le acque si divisero. |
| 22 | Et les enfants d'Israël entrèrent au milieu de la mer à sec; et les eaux leur formaient une muraille à leur droite et à leur gauche. | And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. | Così i figli d'Israele entrarono in mezzo al mare all'asciutto; e le acque formavano come un muro alla loro destra e alla loro sinistra. |
| 23 | Et les Égyptiens les poursuivirent; et tous les chevaux de Pharaon, ses chars et ses cavaliers, entrèrent après eux au milieu de la mer. | And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh`s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. | E gli Egiziani li inseguirono; e tutti i cavalli del Faraone, i suoi carri e i suoi cavalieri entrarono dietro a loro in mezzo al mare. |
| 24 | Mais il arriva, sur la veille du matin, que l'Éternel, étant dans la colonne de feu et de nuée, regarda le camp des Égyptiens, et le mit en déroute. | And it came to pass in the morning watch, that Jehovah looked forth upon the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of cloud, and discomfited the host of the Egyptians. | Verso la vigilia del mattino avvenne che l'Eterno guardò sull'accampamento degli Egiziani dalla colonna di fuoco e dalla nuvola, e lo mise in rotta. |
| 25 | Et il ôta les roues de leurs chars, et fit qu'on les menait pesamment. Alors les Égyptiens dirent: Fuyons de devant les Israélites, car l'Éternel combat pour eux contre les Égyptiens. | And he took off their chariot wheels, and they drove them heavily; so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for Jehovah fighteth for them against the Egyptians. | Egli fece staccare le ruote dei loro carri e rese la loro avanzata difficile. Così gli Egiziani dissero: Fuggiamo davanti a Israele, perché l'Eterno combatte per loro contro gli Egiziani. |
| 26 | Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Étends ta main sur la mer, et les eaux retourneront sur les Égyptiens, sur leurs chars et sur leurs cavaliers. | And Jehovah said unto Moses, Stretch out thy hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. | Quindi l'Eterno disse a Mosè: Stendi la tua mano sul mare, perché le acque ritornino sugli Egiziani, sui loro carri e sui loro cavalieri. |
| 27 | Moïse étendit donc sa main sur la mer, et la mer retourna vers le matin dans son lit; et les Égyptiens s'enfuyant la rencontrèrent, et l'Éternel jeta les Égyptiens au milieu de la mer. | And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and Jehovah overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. | Mosè allora stese la sua mano sul mare; così sul far del mattino, il mare ritornò al suo posto consueto; gli Egiziani fuggirono di fronte ad esso; e l'Eterno travolse gli Egiziani in mezzo al mare. |
| 28 | Les eaux retournèrent donc et couvrirent les chars et les cavaliers de toute l'armée de Pharaon, qui étaient entrés après les Israélites dans la mer; il n'en resta pas un seul. | And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, even all the host of Pharaoh that went in after them into the sea; there remained not so much as one of them. | Le acque tornarono e coprirono i carri, i cavalieri e tutto l'esercito del Faraone che erano entrati nel mare per inseguire gli Israeliti; e non ne scampò neppure uno di loro. |
| 29 | Mais les enfants d'Israël marchèrent à sec au milieu de la mer; et les eaux leur formaient une muraille à leur droite et à leur gauche. | But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. | Ma i figli d'Israele camminarono all'asciutto in mezzo al mare, e le acque furono per loro come un muro, alla loro destra e alla loro sinistra. |
| 30 | En ce jour-là l'Éternel délivra Israël de la main des Égyptiens; et Israël vit les Égyptiens morts, sur le rivage de la mer. | Thus Jehovah saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea-shore. | Così, in quel giorno, l'Eterno salvò Israele dalla mano degli Egiziani, e Israele vide sul lido del mare gli Egiziani morti. |
| 31 | Ainsi Israël vit la grande puissance que l'Éternel avait déployée contre les Égyptiens; et le peuple craignit l'Éternel, et ils crurent en l'Éternel et en Moïse, son serviteur. | And Israel saw the great work which Jehovah did upon the Egyptians, and the people feared Jehovah: and they believed in Jehovah, and in his servant Moses. | Israele vide la grande potenza che l'Eterno aveva mostrato contro gli Egiziani, e il popolo temette l'Eterno e credette nell'Eterno e in Mosè suo servo. |
