| 4 | Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God. | Et moi j'ai dit: j'ai travaillé en vain; j'ai usé ma force pour néant et sans fruit; toutefois mon droit est par-devers l'Eternel, mon oeuvre est par- devers mon Dieu. | Ma io dicevo: Invano ho faticato, per nulla e inutilmente ho speso la mia forza; certamente però il mio diritto è presso l'Eterno e la mia ricompensa presso il mio DIO. |
| 5 | And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength. | Maintenant donc l'Eternel, qui m'a formé dès le ventre pour lui être serviteur, m'a dit que je lui ramène Jacob; mais Israël ne se rassemble point; toutefois je serai glorifié aux yeux de l'Eternel, et mon Dieu sera ma force. | E ora dice l'Eterno che mi ha formato fin dal grembo materno per essere suo servo, per ricondurre a lui Giacobbe e per radunare intorno a lui Israele (io sono onorato agli occhi dell'Eterno, e il mio DIO è la mia forza). |
| 6 | And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. | Et il m'a dit: c'est peu de chose que tu me sois serviteur pour rétablir les Tribus de Jacob, et pour délivrer les captifs d'Israël; c'est pourquoi je t'ai donné pour lumière aux nations, afin que tu sois mon salut jusques au bout de la terre. | Egli dice: E' troppo poco che tu sia mio servo per rialzare le tribù di Giacobbe e per ricondurre gli scampati d'Israele. | 7 | Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee. | Ainsi a dit l'Eternel, le Rédempteur, le Saint d'Israël, à la personne méprisée, à celui qui est abominable dans la nation, au serviteur de ceux qui dominent; les Rois le verront, et se lèveront, et les principaux aussi, et ils se prosterneront devant lui, pour l'amour de l'Eternel, qui est fidèle, et du Saint d'Israël qui t'a élu. | Così dice l'Eterno, il Redentore d'Israele, il suo Santo, a colui che è disprezzato dagli uomini, al detestato dalla nazione, al servo dei potenti: I re vedranno e si leveranno, i principi si prostreranno, a causa dell'Eterno che è fedele, il Santo d'Israele, che ti ha scelto. |
| 8 | Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages; | Ainsi a dit l'Eternel: je t'ai exaucé au temps de la bienveillance, et je t'ai aidé au jour du salut; je te garderai, et je te donnerai pour être l'alliance du peuple, pour rétablir la terre, et afin que tu possèdes les héritages désolés. | Così dice l'Eterno: Nel tempo della grazia io ti ho esaudito e nel giorno della salvezza ti ho aiutato, ti preserverò e ti farò l'alleanza del popolo, per far risorgere il paese, per rimetterli in possesso delle eredità devastate, |
| 9 | That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places. | Disant à ceux qui sont garrottés; sortez; et à ceux qui sont dans les ténèbres; montrez-vous. Ils paîtront sur les chemins, et leurs pâturages seront sur tous les lieux haut élevés. | per dire ai prigionieri: "Uscite" e a quelli che sono nelle tenebre: "Mostratevi". | 10 | They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them. | Ils n'auront point de faim; ils n'auront point de soif; et la chaleur, ni le soleil ne les frappera plus, car celui qui a pitié d'eux les conduira, et les mènera aux sources d'eaux. | Non avranno fame né sete, non li colpirà più né caldo né sole, perché colui che ha pietà di loro li guiderà e li condurrà alle sorgenti d'acqua. |
| 11 | And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted. | Et je réduirai toutes mes montagnes en chemins, et mes sentiers seront relevés. | Trasformerò tutti i miei monti in strade, e le mie strade maestre saranno elevate. |
| 12 | Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim. | Voici, ceux-ci viendront de loin; et voici, ceux-là viendront de l'Aquilon, et ceux-là de la mer, et les autres du pays des Siniens. | Ecco, questi vengono da lontano; ecco, quelli dal nord e dall'est, e quelli dal paese di Sinim. |
| 13 | Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. | Ô cieux! réjouissez-vous avec chant de triomphe, et toi terre, égaye-toi, et vous montagnes, éclatez de joie avec chant de triomphe; car l'Eternel a consolé son peuple, et il aura compassion de ceux qu'il aura affligés. | Giubilate, o cieli, rallegrati, o terra, e prorompete in grida di gioia, o monti, perché l'Eterno consola il suo popolo e ha compassione dei suoi afflitti. |

| 15 | Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. | La femme peut-elle oublier son enfant qu'elle allaite, en sorte qu'elle n'ait point pitié du fils de son ventre? Mais quand les femmes les auraient oubliés, encore ne t'oublierai-je pas, moi | Può una donna dimenticare il bambino lattante e non aver compassione del figlio delle sue viscere? | 16 | Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. | Voici, je t'ai portraite sur les paumes de mes mains; tes murs sont continuellement devant moi. | Ecco, io ti ho scolpita sulle palme delle mie mani, le tue mura mi stanno sempre davanti. |
| 17 | Thy children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee. | Tes enfants viendront à grande hâte; mais ceux qui te détruisaient et qui te réduisaient en désert, sortiront du milieu de toi. | I tuoi figli si affretteranno, i tuoi distruttori e i tuoi devastatori si allontaneranno da te. |
| 18 | Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth. | Elève tes yeux à l'environ, et regarde; tous ceux-ci se sont assemblés, ils sont venus à toi. | 19 | For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away. | Car tes déserts, et tes lieux désolés, et ton pays détruit, sera maintenant trop étroit pour ses habitants, et ceux qui t'engloutissaient s'éloigneront. | Perciò i tuoi luoghi deserti e desolati e il tuo paese una volta colpito dalla distruzione saranno ora troppo angusti per gli abitanti, mentre quelli che ti divoravano saranno ben lontani. |

| 21 | Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been? | Et tu diras en ton coeur; qui m'a engendré ceux-ci; vu que j'avais perdu mes enfants, et que j'étais seule? emmenée en captivité, et agitée, et qui m'a nourri ceux-ci? voici, j'étais demeurée toute seule, et ceux-ci où étaient-ils? | Allora tu dirai in cuor tuo: "Chi ha generato costoro? Io ero infatti stata privata dei miei figli, ero sterile, esule e scacciata di qui e di là. Questi chi li ha allevati? Ecco, io ero rimasta sola, e questi dov'erano?". |
| 22 | Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders. | Ainsi a dit le Seigneur l'Eternel; voici, je lèverai ma main vers les nations, et j'élèverai mon enseigne vers les peuples; et ils apporteront tes fils entre leurs bras, et on chargera tes filles sur les épaules. | Così dice il Signore, l'Eterno: Ecco io leverò la mia mano verso le nazioni, alzerò la mia bandiera verso i popoli, allora riporteranno i tuoi figli in braccio, e le tue figlie saranno portate sulle spalle. |
| 23 | And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me. | Et les Rois seront tes nourriciers, et les Princesses leurs femmes tes nourrices; ils se prosterneront devant toi le visage contre terre, et lécheront la poudre de tes pieds; et tu sauras que je suis l'Eternel, et que ceux qui se confient en moi ne seront point honteux. | I re saranno i tuoi padri adottivi e le loro regine saranno le tue nutrici, essi si prostreranno davanti a te con la faccia a terra e leccheranno la polvere dei tuoi piedi; così saprai che io sono l'Eterno e che coloro che sperano in me non saranno svergognati. |
| 24 | Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? | Le pillage sera-t-il ôté à l'homme puissant? et les captifs du juste seront- ils délivrés? | Si potrà forse strappare la preda al potente o liberare il prigioniero giusto?. |
| 25 | But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. | Car ainsi a dit l'Eternel: même les captifs pris par l'homme puissant, lui seront ôtés, et le pillage de l'homme fort sera enlevé; car je plaiderai moi- même avec ceux qui plaident contre toi, et je délivrerai tes enfants. | Sì, così dice l'Eterno: Anche il prigioniero sarà portato via e la preda del tiranno sarà ricuperata. Io stesso combatterò con chi combatte con te e salverò i tuoi figli. |
| 26 | And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. | Et je ferai que ceux qui t'auront opprimée mangeront leur propre chair, et s'enivreront de leur sang, comme du moût, et toute chair connaîtra que je suis l'Eternel qui te sauve, et ton Rédempteur, le puissant de Jacob. | Farò mangiare ai tuoi oppressori la loro stessa carne, e si inebrieranno col loro stesso sangue come col mosto. Allora ogni carne riconoscerà che io, l'Eterno, sono il tuo Salvatore, il tuo Redentore, il Potente di Giacobbe. |
