| 20 | Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. | Va o popolo mio, entra nelle tue camere, chiudi le tue porte dietro a te; nasconditi per un istante, finché sia passata l'indignazione. |
| 21 | For, behold, Jehovah cometh forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. | Poiché ecco, l'Eterno esce dalla sua dimora per punire l'iniquità degli abitanti della terra; la terra metterà allo scoperto il suo sangue versato e non nasconderà più i suoi uccisi. |
