| 5 | Et les eaux de la mer défaudront, et le fleuve séchera, et tarira. | And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and become dry. | Le acque del mare si prosciugheranno, il fiume inaridirà e seccherà. |
| 6 | Et on fera détourner les fleuves; les ruisseaux des digues s'abaisseront et sécheront; les roseaux et les joncs seront coupés. | And the rivers shall become foul; the streams of Egypt shall be diminished and dried up; the reeds and flags shall wither away. | I fiumi diventeranno nauseabondi, i canali d'Egitto si svuoteranno e si seccheranno e le canne e i giunchi inaridiranno. |
| 7 | Les prairies qui sont près des ruisseaux, et sur l'embouchure du fleuve, et tout ce qui aura été semé le long des ruisseaux, séchera, sera jeté loin, et ne sera plus. | The meadows by the Nile, by the brink of the Nile, and all the sown fields of the Nile, shall become dry, be driven away, and be no more. | I prati accanto al Nilo alla foce del Nilo e tutti i campi seminati lungo il fiume seccheranno, saranno spazzati via e spariranno. |
| 8 | Et les pêcheurs gémiront, et tous ceux qui jettent l'hameçon au fleuve, mèneront deuil, et ceux qui étendent les rets sur les eaux, languiront. | And the fishers shall lament, and all they that cast angle into the Nile shall mourn, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish. | I pescatori gemeranno, tutti quelli che gettano l'amo nel Nilo si lamenteranno e quelli che stendono le reti sulle acque languiranno. |
| 9 | Ceux qui travaillent en lin et en fin crêpe, et ceux qui tissent les filets, seront honteux. | Moreover they that work in combed flax, and they that weave white cloth, shall be confounded. | Quelli che lavorano il lino pettinato e i tessitori di cotone saranno confusi. |
| 10 | Et ses chaussées seront rompues; et tous ceux qui font des écluses de viviers seront contristés de coeur. | And the pillars [of Egypt] shall be broken in pieces; all they that work for hire [shall be] grieved in soul. | Le loro fondamenta saranno infrante e tutti i lavoratori salariati saranno contristati. |
| 11 | Certes les principaux de Tsohan sont fous, les sages d'entre les conseillers de Pharaon sont un conseil abruti; comment dites-vous à Pharaon; je suis fils des sages, le fils des Rois anciens? | The princes of Zoan are utterly foolish; the counsel of the wisest counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings? | Certamente i principi di Tsoan, sono stolti; i più saggi consiglieri del Faraone danno consigli insensati. Come potete dire al Faraone: Io sono figlio di saggi, figlio di antichi re? |
| 12 | Où sont-ils maintenant? où sont, dis-je, tes sages? qu'ils t'annoncent, je te prie, s'ils le savent, ce que l'Eternel des armées a décrété contre l'Egypte. | Where then are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now; and let them know what Jehovah of hosts hath purposed concerning Egypt. | Dove sono ora i tuoi saggi? Te lo dichiarino ora e riconoscano ciò che l'Eterno degli eserciti ha deciso contro l'Egitto. |
| 13 | Les principaux de Tsohan sont devenus insensés; les principaux de Noph se sont trompés; les Cantons des Tribus d'Egypte l'ont fait égarer. | The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Memphis are deceived; they have caused Egypt to go astray, that are the corner-stone of her tribes. | I principi di Tsoan sono diventati stolti, i principi di Nof, si ingannano; quelli che sono la pietra angolare delle sue tribù hanno fatto traviare l'Egitto. |
| 14 | L'Eternel a versé au milieu d'elle un esprit de renversement, et on a fait errer l'Egypte dans toutes ses oeuvres, comme un homme ivre se vautre dans son vomissement. | Jehovah hath mingled a spirit of perverseness in the midst of her; and they have caused Egypt to go astray in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit. | L'Eterno ha mescolato nel suo mezzo uno spirito di perversione, ed essi hanno fatto fuorviare l'Egitto in ogni sua impresa, come barcolla l'ubriaco nel suo vomito. |
| 15 | Et il n'y aura aucun ouvrage qui serve à l'Egypte, rien de ce que fera la tête ou la queue, le rameau ou le jonc. | Neither shall there be for Egypt any work, which head or tail, palm-branch or rush, may do. | E nulla potrà fare l'Egitto: il capo o la coda, la palma o il giunco. |
| 16 | En ce jour-là l'Egypte sera comme des femmes, et elle sera étonnée et épouvantée à cause de la main élevée de l'Eternel des armées, laquelle il s'en va élever contr'elle. | In that day shall the Egyptians be like unto women; and they shall tremble and fear because of the shaking of the hand of Jehovah of hosts, which he shaketh over them. | In quel giorno l'Egitto sarà come le donne, e tremerà e sarà spaventato di fronte alla mano che l'Eterno degli eserciti agiterà contro di lui. |
| 17 | Et la terre de Juda sera en effroi à l'Egypte; quiconque fera mention d'elle, en sera épouvanté en soi-même, à cause du conseil de l'Eternel des armées, lequel il s'en va décréter contr'elle. | And the land of Judah shall become a terror unto Egypt; every one to whom mention is made thereof shall be afraid, because of the purpose of Jehovah of hosts, which he purposeth against it. | Il paese di Giuda sarà il terrore dell'Egitto; ogni volta che se ne farà menzione, sarà un vero spavento a motivo della decisione presa contro di lui dall'Eterno degli eserciti. |
| 18 | En ce jour-là il y aura cinq villes au pays d'Egypte qui parleront le langage de Chanaan, et qui jureront à l'Eternel des armées; et l'une sera appelée Ville de destruction. | In that day there shall be five cities in the land of Egypt that speak the language of Canaan, and swear to Jehovah of hosts; one shall be called The city of destruction. | In quel giorno vi saranno nel paese d'Egitto cinque città che parleranno la lingua di Canaan e giureranno per l'Eterno degli eserciti, una di esse si chiamerà la città della distruzione |
| 19 | En ce jour-là il y aura un autel à l'Eternel au milieu du pays d'Egypte, et une enseigne dressée à l'Eternel sur sa frontière. | In that day shall there be an altar to Jehovah in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to Jehovah. | In quel giorno in mezzo al paese d'Egitto vi sarà un altare, consacrato all'Eterno, e una stele eretta all'Eterno presso la sua frontiera. |
| 20 | Et cela sera pour signe et pour témoignage à l'Eternel des armées dans le pays d'Egypte; car ils crieront à l'Eternel à cause des oppresseurs, et il leur enverra un libérateur, et un grand personnage qui les délivrera. | And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto Jehovah of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they shall cry unto Jehovah because of oppressors, and he will send them a saviour, and a defender, and he will deliver them. | Sarà un segno e una testimonianza per l'Eterno degli eserciti nel paese d'Egitto; quando essi grideranno all'Eterno a motivo dei loro oppressori, egli manderà loro un salvatore e uno potente che li libererà. |
| 21 | Et l'Eternel se fera connaître à l'Egypte; et en ce jour-là l'Egypte connaîtra l'Eternel, et le servira, offrant des sacrifices et des gâteaux, et elle vouera des voeux à l'Eternel, et les accomplira. | And Jehovah shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know Jehovah in that day; yea, they shall worship with sacrifice and oblation, and shall vow a vow unto Jehovah, and shall perform it. | L'Eterno si farà conoscere all'Egitto e gli Egiziani conosceranno l'Eterno in quel giorno; gli offriranno sacrifici e oblazioni di cibo, faranno voti all'Eterno e li adempiranno. |
| 22 | L'Eternel donc frappera les Egyptiens, les frappant et les guérissant, et ils retourneront jusques à l'Eternel, qui sera fléchi par leurs prières, et les guérira. | And Jehovah will smite Egypt, smiting and healing; and they shall return unto Jehovah, and he will be entreated of them, and will heal them. | L'Eterno colpirà gli Egiziani, li colpirà e li guarirà; essi ritorneranno all'Eterno, che darà ascolto alle loro preghiere e li guarirà. |
| 23 | En ce jour-là il y aura un chemin battu de l'Egypte en Assyrie; et l'Assyrie viendra en Egypte, et l'Egypte en Assyrie, et l'Egypte servira avec l'Assyrie. | In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria; and the Egyptians shall worship with the Assyrians. | In quel giorno vi sarà una strada dall'Egitto all'Assiria; gli Assiri andranno in Egitto e gli Egiziani in Assiria, e gli Egiziani serviranno con gli Assiri. |
| 24 | En ce jour-là Israël sera joint pour la troisième partie à l'Egypte et à l'Assyrie, et la bénédiction sera au milieu de la terre. | In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth; | In quel giorno Israele, il terzo con l'Egitto e con l'Assiria, sarà una benedizione in mezzo alla terra. |
| 25 | Ce que l'Eternel des armées bénira, en disant: Bénie soit l'Egypte mon peuple; et bénie soit l'Assyrie l'ouvrage de mes mains; et Israël mon héritage. | for that Jehovah of hosts hath blessed them, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance. | L'Eterno degli eserciti li benedirà dicendo: Benedetto sia l'Egitto mio popolo, l'Assiria opera delle mie mani e Israele mia eredità!. |
