| 5 | For before the harvest, when the blossom is over, and the flower becometh a ripening grape, he will cut off the sprigs with pruning-hooks, and the spreading branches will he take away [and] cut down. | Poiché prima della mietitura, quando la fioritura è finita e il fiore è diventato un grappolo in fase di maturazione, egli taglierà i ramoscelli con le roncole, e strapperà via e troncherà i tralci. |

| 7 | In that time shall a present be brought unto Jehovah of hosts [from] a people tall and smooth, even from a people terrible from their beginning onward, a nation that meteth out and treadeth down, whose land the rivers divide, to the place of the name of Jehovah of hosts, the mount Zion. | In quel tempo saranno portate offerte all'Eterno degli eserciti da una nazione di alta statura e dalla pelle lucida, da un popolo temuto dai suoi inizi in poi, una nazione potente che calpesta tutto, il cui paese è solcato da fiumi; saranno portate al luogo in cui si trova il nome dell'Eterno degli eserciti, sul monte Sion. |
