| 19 | Et Babylone, l'ornement des royaumes, La fière parure des Chaldéens, Sera comme Sodome et Gomorrhe, que Dieu détruisit. | And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldeans` pride, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. | Così Babilonia, lo splendore dei regni, la gloria dell'orgoglio dei Caldei, sarà come Sodoma e Gomorra quando DIO le sovvertì. |

Son temps est près d'arriver, Et ses jours ne se prolongeront pas. | And wolves shall cry in their castles, and jackals in the pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged. | Le iene ululeranno nelle sue case desolate, gli sciacalli nei suoi palazzi lussuosi.
