| 23 | Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. | Tes princes sont des rebelles; et des compagnons de voleurs; tous aiment les présents, et courent après les récompenses; ils ne font pas droit à l'orphelin, et la cause de la veuve ne vient pas devant eux. |

| 26 | And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city. | Je te rendrai des juges comme ceux d'autrefois, et des conseillers comme aux premiers temps. Après cela on t'appellera la ville de justice, la cité fidèle. |
| 27 | Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness. | Sion sera rachetée par la droiture, et ses convertis, par la justice. |
| 28 | And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed. | Mais les rebelles et les pécheurs seront brisés ensemble, et ceux qui abandonnent Yahweh périront. |
| 29 | For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen. | Car ils auront honte des térébinthes que vous avez aimés, et vous rougirez des jardins dont vous faites vos délices. |
| 30 | For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water. | Car vous serez comme un térébinthe au feuillage flétri, et comme un jardin sans eau. |
| 31 | And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them. | Et l'homme fort sera l'étoupe, et ses oeuvres, l'étincelle ; ils brûleront tous deux ensemble, et personne n'éteindra. |
