| 7 | whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power. | di cui sono stato fatto ministro, secondo il dono della grazia di Dio che mi è stata data in virtù della sua potenza. |

| 10 | to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly [places] might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God, | affinché, per mezzo della chiesa, nel tempo presente sia manifestata ai principati e alle potestà, nei luoghi celesti, la multiforme sapienza di Dio, |
| 11 | according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: | secondo il proponimento eterno che egli attuò in Cristo Gesù, nostro Signore, |
| 12 | in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him. | in cui abbiamo la libertà e l'accesso a Dio nella fiducia mediante la fede in lui. |
| 13 | Wherefore I ask that ye may not faint at my tribulations for you, which are your glory. | Per la qual cosa vi chiedo che non vi scoraggiate a causa delle mie tribolazioni che soffro per voi, il che è la vostra gloria. |

| 16 | that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; | perché vi dia, secondo le ricchezze della sua gloria, di essere fortificati con potenza per mezzo del suo Spirito nell'uomo interiore, |
| 17 | that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, | perché Cristo abiti nei vostri cuori per mezzo della fede, |
| 18 | may be strong to apprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, | affinché, radicati e fondati nell'amore, possiate comprendere con tutti i santi quale sia la larghezza, la lunghezza, la profondità e l'altezza, |
| 19 | and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God. | e conoscere l'amore di Cristo che sopravanza ogni conoscenza, affinché siate ripieni di tutta la pienezza di Dio. |
| 20 | Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, | Or a colui che può, secondo la potenza che opera in noi, fare smisuratamente al di là di quanto chiediamo o pensiamo, |
| 21 | unto him [be] the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations for ever and ever. Amen. | a lui sia la gloria nella chiesa in Cristo Gesù per tutte le generazioni, nei secoli dei secoli. Amen. |
