| 12 | Et quand à plus de paroles que celles-ci, mon fils, sois averti. Multiplier les livres n'aurait pas de fin, et beaucoup d'étude est une fatigue pour la chair. | And furthermore, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. |
| 13 | Fin du discours, le tout entendu : Crains Dieu et observe ses commandements, car c'est là le tout de l'homme. | [This is] the end of the matter; all hath been heard: fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole [duty] of man. |
| 14 | Car Dieu citera en un jugement portant sur tout ce qui est caché, toute oeuvre, soit bonne, soit mauvaise. | For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. |
