| 5 | Je me tenais en ce temps-là entre l'Éternel et vous, pour vous rapporter la Parole de l’Éternel; car vous aviez peur du feu, et vous ne montiez point sur la montagne. Il déclara, disant: | (I stood between Jehovah and you at that time, to show you the word of Jehovah: for ye were afraid because of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, | Io stavo allora fra l'Eterno e voi per riferirvi la parola dell'Eterno, perché voi aveste paura del fuoco e non saliste sul monte. Egli disse: |

| 8 | Tu ne te feras point d'image taillée, ni aucune ressemblance des choses qui sont là-haut dans les cieux, de celles qui sont ici-bas sur la terre, ni de celles qui sont dans les eaux au-dessous de la terre. | Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, [nor] any likeness [of anything] that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: | Non ti farai scultura alcuna né immagine alcuna delle cose che sono lassù nei cieli o quaggiù sulla terra o nelle acque sotto la terra. |
| 9 | Tu ne te prosterneras point devant elles, et tu ne les serviras point; car JE SUIS l'Éternel ton Dieu, un Dieu jaloux, qui punis l'iniquité des pères sur les enfants, jusqu'à la troisième et à la quatrième génération de ceux qui me haïssent; | thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I, Jehovah, thy God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me; | Non ti prostrerai davanti a loro e non le servirai, perché io, l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, sono un Dio geloso che punisco l'iniquità dei padri sui figli fino alla terza e alla quarta generazione di quelli che mi odiano, |

| 11 | Tu ne prendras point le nom de l'Éternel ton Dieu en vain; car l'Éternel ne tiendra point pour innocent celui qui aura pris son nom en vain. | Thou shalt not take the name of Jehovah thy God in vain: for Jehovah will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. | Non userai il nome dell'Eterno, il tuo DIO, invano, poiché l'Eterno non lascerà impunito chi usa il suo nome invano. |
| 12 | Observe le jour du repos pour le sanctifier, comme l'Éternel ton Dieu te l'a commandé; | Observe the sabbath day, to keep it holy, as Jehovah thy God commanded thee. | Osserva il giorno di sabato per santificarlo, come l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, ti ha comandato. |

| 14 | Mais le septième jour est le repos de l'Éternel ton Dieu; tu ne feras aucune oeuvre en ce jour-là, ni toi, ni ton fils, ni ta fille, ni ton serviteur, ni ta servante, ni ton bœuf, ni ton âne, ni aucune de tes bêtes, ni ton étranger qui est dans tes portes, afin que ton serviteur et ta servante se reposent comme toi. | but the seventh day is a sabbath unto Jehovah thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy man-servant, nor thy maid-servant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy man-servant and thy maid-servant may rest as well as thou. | ma il settimo giorno è sabato, sacro all'Eterno, il tuo DIO: non farai in esso alcun lavoro, né tu né tuo figlio né tua figlia né il tuo servo né la tua serva né il tuo bue né il tuo asino né alcuna delle tue bestie né il forestiero che sta dentro le tue porte, affinché il tuo servo e la tua serva si riposino come te. |
| 15 | Et souviens-toi que tu as été esclave au pays d'Égypte, et que l'Éternel ton Dieu t'en a retiré à main forte et à bras étendu; c'est pourquoi, l'Éternel ton Dieu t'a commandé d'observer le jour du repos. | And thou shalt remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and Jehovah thy God brought thee out thence by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm: therefore Jehovah thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day. | E ricordati che sei stato schiavo nel paese d'Egitto e che l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, ti ha fatto uscire di là con mano potente e con braccio steso; perciò l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, ti ordina di osservare il giorno di Sabato. |
| 16 | Honore ton père et ta mère, comme l'Éternel ton Dieu te l'a commandé, afin que tes jours se prolongent, et que tu sois heureux sur la terre que l'Éternel ton Dieu te donne. | Honor thy father and thy mother, as Jehovah thy God commanded thee; that thy days may be long, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee. | Onorerai tuo padre e tua madre, come l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, ti ha comandato, affinché i tuoi giorni siano lunghi ed abbia prosperità sulla terra che l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, ti dà. |

| 18 | Tu ne commettras point adultère. | Neither shalt thou commit adultery. | Non commetterai adulterio. |
| 19 | Tu ne déroberas point. | Neither shalt thou steal. | Non ruberai. |
| 20 | Tu ne diras point de faux témoignage contre ton prochain. | Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbor. | Non farai falsa testimonianza contro il tuo prossimo. |
| 21 | Tu ne convoiteras point la femme de ton prochain, et tu ne désireras point la maison de ton prochain, ni son champ, ni son serviteur, ni sa servante, ni son bœuf, ni son âne, ni aucune chose qui soit à ton prochain. | Neither shalt thou covet thy neighbor`s wife; neither shalt thou desire thy neighbor`s house, his field, or his man-servant, or his maid-servant, his ox, or his ass, or anything that is thy neighbor`s. | Non desidererai la moglie del tuo prossimo, e non desidererai la casa del tuo prossimo né il suo campo né il suo servo né la sua serva né il suo bue né il suo asino né cosa alcuna che sia del tuo prossimo". |
| 22 | L'Éternel prononça ces paroles à toute votre assemblée, sur la montagne, du milieu du feu, de la nuée et de l'obscurité, d'une voix forte, et il n'y ajouta rien; puis il les écrivit sur deux tables de pierre, qu'il me donna. | These words Jehovah spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them upon two tables of stone, and gave them unto me. | Queste parole disse l'Eterno a tutta la vostra assemblea sul monte, di mezzo al fuoco, alla nuvola e a densa oscurità, con voce forte; e non aggiunse altro. Le scrisse su due tavole di pietra e le diede a me. |
| 23 | Or, dès que vous avez entendu la voix du milieu de l'obscurité, la montagne étant tout en feu, vous vous êtes approché de moi, tous vos chefs de tribu et vos anciens, | And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, while the mountain was burning with fire, that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders; | Quando voi udiste la voce di mezzo alle tenebre, mentre il monte era tutto in fiamme, voi vi avvicinaste a me, tutti i vostri capi-tribù e i vostri anziani, |
| 24 | Et vous dîtes: Voici, l'Éternel notre Dieu nous a montré sa gloire et sa grandeur, et nous avons entendu sa voix du milieu du feu; aujourd'hui nous avons vu que Dieu peut parler avec l'homme, et l'homme demeurer en vie. | and ye said, Behold, Jehovah our God hath showed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth speak with man, and he liveth. | e diceste: "Ecco, l'Eterno, il nostro DIO, ci ha fatto vedere la sua gloria e la sua grandezza, e noi abbiamo udito la sua voce di mezzo al fuoco; oggi abbiamo visto che DIO può parlare con l'uomo e l'uomo rimanere vivo. |
| 25 | Mais maintenant, pourquoi mourrions-nous? Car ce grand feu nous consumera. Si nous entendons encore la voix de l'Éternel notre Dieu, nous mourrons. | Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of Jehovah our God any more, then we shall die. | Or dunque, perché dovremmo morire? Questo grande fuoco infatti ci consumerà; se continuiamo a udire ancora la voce dell'Eterno, il nostro DIO, noi moriremo. |
| 26 | Car qui est l'homme, quel qu'il soit, qui ait entendu, comme nous, la voix du Dieu vivant, parlant du milieu du feu, et qui soit demeuré en vie? | For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived? | Poiché chi è fra tutti i mortali che, come noi, abbia udito la voce del DIO vivente parlare di mezzo al fuoco e sia rimasto vivo? |
| 27 | Approche, toi, et écoute tout ce que dira l'Éternel notre Dieu, puis tu nous rapporteras tout ce que l'Éternel notre Dieu t'aura dit, et nous l'entendrons, et nous le ferons. | Go thou near, and hear all that Jehovah our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that Jehovah our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it. | Avvicinati tu e ascolta tutto ciò che l'Eterno, il nostro DIO, ti dirà, e noi ascolteremo e lo faremo". |
| 28 | Et l'Éternel entendit vos paroles pendant que vous me parliez; et l'Éternel me dit: J'ai entendu les discours que ce peuple t'a tenus; ils ont bien dit tout ce qu'ils ont dit. | And Jehovah heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and Jehovah said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken. | L'Eterno udì il suono delle vostre parole, mentre mi parlavate; così l'Eterno mi disse: "Io ho udito il suono delle parole che questo popolo ti ha rivolto; tutto ciò che hanno detto va bene. |
| 29 | Oh! s'ils avaient toujours ce même cœur pour me craindre et pour garder tous mes commandements, afin qu'ils fussent heureux, eux et leurs enfants, à jamais! | Oh that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! | Oh, avessero sempre un tal cuore, da temermi e da osservare tutti i miei comandamenti, per avere sempre prosperità, loro e i loro figli! |
| 30 | Va, dis-leur: Retournez dans vos tentes; | Go say to them, Return ye to your tents. | Va' e di' loro: Tornate alle vostre tende. |
| 31 | Mais toi, demeure ici avec moi, et je te dirai tous les commandements, les statuts et les ordonnances que tu leur enseigneras, afin qu'ils les pratiquent, dans le pays que je leur donne pour le posséder. | But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandment, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it. | Ma tu rimani qui con me e io ti indicherò tutti i comandamenti, tutti gli statuti e i decreti che insegnerai loro, perché li mettano in pratica nel paese che do loro in eredità". |
| 32 | Vous prendrez donc garde de faire comme l'Éternel votre Dieu a commandé; vous ne vous détournerez ni à droite ni à gauche. | Ye shall observe to do therefore as Jehovah your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. | Abbiate dunque cura di far ciò che l'Eterno, il vostro DIO, vi ha comandato; non deviate né a destra né a sinistra; |
| 33 | Vous marcherez dans toute la voie que l'Éternel votre Dieu vous a prescrite, afin que vous viviez et que vous soyez heureux, et que vous prolongiez vos jours dans le pays que vous posséderez. | Ye shall walk in all the way which Jehovah your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess. | camminate interamente nella via che l'Eterno, il vostro DIO, vi ha prescritto, perché viviate e siate prosperi e prolunghiate i vostri giorni nel paese che occuperete. |
