| 21 | En ce temps-là je donnai aussi cet ordre à Josué, en disant: Tes yeux ont vu tout ce que l'Éternel votre Dieu a fait à ces deux rois; l'Éternel fera de même à tous les royaumes où tu vas passer. | And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that Jehovah your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall Jehovah do unto all the kingdoms whither thou goest over. | In quel tempo, ordinai pure a Giosuè, dicendo: "I tuoi occhi hanno visto tutto ciò che l'Eterno, il vostro DIO, ha fatto a questi due re; lo stesso farà l'Eterno a tutti i regni che stai per attraversare. |
| 22 | Ne les craignez point; car l'Éternel votre Dieu combat lui-même pour vous. | Ye shall not fear them; for Jehovah your God, he it is that fighteth for you. | Non abbiate paura di loro, perché l'Eterno, il vostro DIO, combatterà egli stesso per voi". |
| 23 | En ce même temps, je demandai grâce à l'Éternel, en disant: | And I besought Jehovah at that time, saying, | In quel medesimo tempo, io supplicai l'Eterno, dicendo: |
| 24 | Seigneur Éternel, tu as commencé de montrer à ton serviteur ta grandeur et ta main forte; car quel est le Dieu, dans les cieux et sur la terre, qui puisse faire des oeuvres et des exploits semblables aux tiens? | O Lord Jehovah, thou hast begun to show thy servant thy greatness, and thy strong hand: for what god is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy mighty acts? | "O Signore, o Eterno, tu hai cominciato a mostrare al tuo servo la tua grandezza e la tua mano potente; poiché qual è il dio in cielo o sulla terra, che possa fare le opere e i portenti simili a quelli che fai tu? |
| 25 | Que je passe, je te prie, et que je voie ce bon pays qui est au delà du Jourdain, cette bonne montagne, et le Liban. | Let me go over, I pray thee, and see the good land that is beyond the Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon. | Deh, lasciami passare il Giordano per vedere il bel paese che è al di là del Giordano, la bella regione montuosa e il Libano". |
| 26 | Mais l'Éternel était irrité contre moi à cause de vous; et il ne m'exauça point, mais il me dit: C'est assez; ne me parle plus de cette affaire. | But Jehovah was wroth with me for your sakes, and hearkened not unto me; and Jehovah said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter. | Ma l'Eterno si adirò contro di me per causa vostra, e non mi esaudì. Così l'Eterno mi disse: "Basta così; non parlarmi più di questa cosa. |
| 27 | Monte au sommet du Pisga, et lève tes yeux vers l'occident et vers le nord, vers le midi et vers l'orient, et regarde de tes yeux; car tu ne passeras point ce Jourdain. | Get thee up unto the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan. | Sali sulla vetta del Pisgah, volgi lo sguardo a ovest, a nord, a sud e a est e contempla coi tuoi occhi, perché tu non passerai questo Giordano. |
| 28 | Mais donne tes ordres à Josué, et fortifie-le, et encourage-le; car c'est lui qui passera devant ce peuple, et qui le mettra en possession du pays que tu verras. | But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him; for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see. | Ma da' ordini a Giosuè, fortificalo e incoraggialo, perché lui passerà il Giordano alla testa di questo popolo e metterà Israele in possesso del paese che vedrai". |
