| 1 | These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb. | Ce sont ici les paroles de l'alliance que l'Éternel commanda à Moïse de traiter avec les enfants d'Israël, au pays de Moab, outre l'alliance qu'il avait traitée avec eux en Horeb. | Queste sono le parole del patto che l'Eterno comandò a Mosè di fare con i figli d'Israele nel paese di Moab, oltre il patto che aveva fatto con essi al monte Horeb. |
| 2 | And Moses called unto all Israel, and said unto them, Ye have seen all that the LORD did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land; | Moïse appela donc tout Israël et leur dit: Vous avez vu tout ce que l'Éternel a fait sous vos yeux, dans le pays d'Égypte, à Pharaon, et à tous ses serviteurs, et à tout son pays, | Mosè convocò dunque tutto Israele e disse loro: Voi avete visto tutto ciò che l'Eterno ha fatto sotto i vostri occhi nel paese d'Egitto al Faraone, a tutti i suoi servitori e a tutto il suo paese; |
| 3 | The great temptations which thine eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles: | Les grandes épreuves que tes yeux ont vues, ces grands signes et miracles; | i tuoi occhi hanno visto le grandi calamità, i segni e quei grandi prodigi; |
| 4 | Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day. | Mais l'Éternel ne vous a point donné jusqu'à ce jour un cœur pour connaître, ni des yeux pour voir, ni des oreilles pour entendre. | ma fino a questo giorno l'Eterno non vi ha dato un cuore per comprendere, occhi per vedere e orecchi per udire. |
| 5 | And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot. | Et je vous ai conduits quarante ans dans le désert, sans que vos vêtements se soient usés sur vous, et sans que ton soulier se soit usé sur ton pied; | Io vi ho condotto quarant'anni nel deserto; le vostre vesti non si sono logorate addosso a voi e i vostri calzari non si sono logorati ai vostri piedi. |
| 6 | Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I am the LORD your God. | Vous n'avez point mangé de pain, ni bu de vin, ni de boisson forte, afin que vous connussiez que JE SUIS l'Éternel votre Dieu, | Non avete mangiato pane e non avete bevuto vino né bevanda inebriante, affinché conosceste che io sono l'Eterno, il vostro DIO. |
| 7 | And when ye came unto this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, came out against us unto battle, and we smote them: | Et vous êtes parvenus en ce lieu. Et Sihon, roi de Hesbon, et Og, roi de Bassan, sont sortis à notre rencontre pour nous combattre, et nous les avons battus, | Quando siete arrivati in questo luogo, Sihon re di Heshbon e Og re di Bashan sono usciti contro di noi per combattere, ma noi li abbiamo sconfitti, |
| 8 | And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance unto the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half tribe of Manasseh. | Et nous avons pris leur pays, et nous l'avons donné en héritage aux Rubénites, aux Gadites, et à la moitié de la tribu de Manassé. | abbiamo preso il loro paese e l'abbiamo dato in eredità ai Rubeniti, ai Gaditi e alla mezza tribù di Manasse. |

| 10 | Ye stand this day all of you before the LORD your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel, | Vous comparaissez tous aujourd'hui devant l'Éternel votre Dieu, vos chefs et vos tribus, vos anciens et vos officiers, tout homme d'Israël, | Oggi tutti voi state davanti all'Eterno, il vostro DIO: i vostri capi, le vostre tribù, i vostri anziani, i vostri ufficiali, tutti gli uomini d'Israele, |
| 11 | Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water: | Vos petits enfants, vos femmes, et ton étranger qui est au milieu de ton camp, depuis ton coupeur de bois jusqu'à ton puiseur d'eau; | i vostri bambini, le vostre mogli e lo straniero che in mezzo al tuo accampamento, da colui che spacca la tua legna a colui che attinge la tua acqua, |
| 12 | That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the LORD thy God, and into his oath, which the LORD thy God maketh with thee this day: | Afin d'entrer dans l'alliance de l'Éternel ton Dieu, faite avec serment, et que l'Éternel ton Dieu traite aujourd'hui avec toi; | per entrare nel patto dell'Eterno, il tuo DIO, e nel suo giuramento che l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, fa oggi con te, |
| 13 | That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. | Afin qu'il t'établisse aujourd'hui pour être son peuple, et qu'il soit ton Dieu, comme il te l'a dit et comme il l'a juré à tes pères, Abraham, Isaac et Jacob. | per stabilirti oggi come suo popolo e per essere tuo DIO, come ti disse e come giurò ai tuoi padri, ad Abrahamo, a Isacco e a Giacobbe. |

| 18 | Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; | Qu'il n'y ait parmi vous ni homme, ni femme, ni famille, ni tribu, qui détourne aujourd'hui son cœur de l'Éternel notre Dieu, pour aller servir les dieux de ces nations; qu'il n'y ait point parmi vous de racine qui produise du poison et de l'absinthe; | Non vi sia tra voi uomo o donna o famiglia o tribù il cui cuore si allontani dall'Eterno il nostro DIO, per andare a servire gli dèi di quelle nazioni; non vi sia tra di voi radice alcuna che produca veleno e assenzio; |
| 19 | And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: | Et que nul, en entendant les paroles de cette imprécation, ne se flatte en son cœur, en disant: J'aurai la paix, bien que je marche dans l'endurcissement de mon cœur; en sorte qu'il ajoute l'ivresse à la soif. | e non avvenga che alcuno, ascoltando le parole di questo giuramento, in cuor suo faccia propria una benedizione, dicendo: "Avrò pace, anche se camminerò secondo la caparbietà del mio cuore", come se l'ebbro potesse essere incluso al sobrio. |
| 20 | The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven. | L'Éternel ne consentira point à lui pardonner; mais alors la colère de l'Éternel et sa jalousie s'allumeront contre cet homme, et toute la malédiction écrite dans ce livre pèsera sur lui, et l'Éternel effacera son nom de dessous les cieux, | L'Eterno non gli potrà mai perdonare; ma in tal caso l'ira dell'Eterno e la sua gelosia arderanno contro quell'uomo e tutte le maledizioni scritte in questo libro si poseranno su di lui, e l'Eterno cancellerà il suo nome di sotto al cielo; |
| 21 | And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law: | Et l'Éternel le séparera, pour son malheur, de toutes les tribus d'Israël, selon toutes les imprécations de l'alliance écrite dans ce livre de la loi. | l'Eterno lo separerà per distruzione da tutte le tribù d'Israele, secondo tutte le maledizioni del patto scritto in questo libro della legge. |
| 22 | So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it; | Et la génération à venir, vos enfants qui se lèveront après vous, et l'étranger qui viendra d'un pays éloigné, diront, -quand ils verront les plaies de ce pays et les maladies dont l'Éternel l'aura affligé, | Così la futura generazione dei vostri figli che sorgerà dopo di voi e lo straniero che verrà da un paese lontano, nel vedere le calamità e le infermità che l'Eterno gli ha inflitto, diranno: |
| 23 | And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath: | Lorsque toute la terre de ce pays ne sera que soufre et sel, et qu'embrasement, qu'elle ne sera point ensemencée, qu'elle ne fera rien germer, et que nulle herbe n'y poussera, comme après la subversion de Sodome, de Gomorrhe, d'Adma et de Tséboïm, que l'Éternel détruisit dans sa colère et dans son indignation, - | "Tutto il suolo è zolfo, sale, arsura; non è seminato, non produce più nulla e non vi cresce più alcuna erba, come dopo la distruzione di Sodoma, di Gomorra, di Admah e di Tseboim, che l'Eterno distrusse nella sua ira e nel suo furore". |
| 24 | Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger? | Toutes les nations diront: Pourquoi l'Éternel a-t-il ainsi traité ce pays? Quelle est la cause de l'ardeur de cette grande colère? | Si', tutte le nazioni diranno: "Perché ha l'Eterno trattato così questo paese? Perché mai l'ardore di questa grande ira?". |
| 25 | Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt: | Et on répondra: C'est parce qu'ils ont abandonné l'alliance de l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères, qu'il avait traitée avec eux quand il les fit sortir du pays d'Égypte; | Allora risponderanno: "Poiché hanno abbandonato il patto dell'Eterno, il DIO dei loro padri, che egli stabilì con loro, quando li fece uscire dal paese d'Egitto; |
| 26 | For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them: | Et qu'ils sont allés et ont servi d'autres dieux, et se sont prosternés devant eux; des dieux qu'ils n'avaient point connus, et qu'il ne leur avait point donnés en partage. | perché sono andati a servire altri dèi e si sono prostrati davanti a loro, dèi che essi non avevano conosciuto e che l'Eterno non aveva loro dato. |
| 27 | And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book: | Et la colère de l'Éternel s'est embrasée contre ce pays, pour faire venir sur lui toutes les malédictions écrites dans ce livre; | Per questo si è accesa l'ira dell'Eterno contro questo paese, per far venire su di esso tutte le maledizioni scritte in questo libro; |
| 28 | And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day. | Et l'Éternel les a arrachés de leur sol, dans sa colère, dans son courroux et dans sa grande indignation, et il les a jetés dans un autre pays, comme cela se voit aujourd'hui. | e l'Eterno li ha strappati dal loro paese con ira, con furore e con grande indignazione e li ha gettati in un altro paese, come è avvenuto oggi". |
| 29 | The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. | Les choses cachées appartiennent à l'Éternel notre Dieu, mais les choses révélées sont pour nous et pour nos enfants à jamais, afin que nous mettions en pratique toutes les paroles de cette loi. | Le cose occulte appartengono all'Eterno, il nostro DIO, ma le cose rivelate sono per noi e per i nostri figli per sempre, perché mettiamo in pratica tutte le parole di questa legge. |
