| 57 | elle ne leur donnera rien de l'arrière-faix sorti d'entre ses pieds et des enfants qu'elle mettra au monde, car, manquant de tout, elle en fera secrètement sa nourriture au milieu de l'angoisse et de la détresse où te réduira ton ennemi dans tes portes. | And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates. | e verso la placenta che esce dal suo grembo e verso i figli che partorisce, perché essa li mangerà di nascosto, nella mancanza di tutto, durante l'assedio e la grande calamità, a cui ti sottoporranno i tuoi nemici in tutte le tue città. |

| 59 | l'Éternel te frappera miraculeusement, toi et ta postérité, par des plaies grandes et de longue durée, par des maladies graves et opiniâtres. | Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. | allora l'Eterno rovescerà su di te e sui tuoi discendenti indescrivibili calamità, calamità grandi e durature, e malattie maligne e ostinate; |
| 60 | Il amènera sur toi toutes les maladies d'Égypte, devant lesquelles tu tremblais ; et elles s'attacheront à toi. | Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. | inoltre farà tornare su di te tutte le malattie d'Egitto, di cui avevi paura, e si attaccheranno a te. |
| 61 | Et même, l'Éternel fera venir sur toi, jusqu'à ce que tu sois détruit, toutes sortes de maladies et de plaies qui ne sont point mentionnées dans le livre de cette loi. | Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed. | Anche tutte le malattie e tutte le calamità non scritte nel libro di questa legge, l'Eterno le farà venir su di te, finché tu sia distrutto. |
| 62 | Après avoir été aussi nombreux que les étoiles du ciel, vous ne resterez qu'un petit nombre, parce que tu n'auras point obéi à la voix de l'Éternel, ton Dieu. | And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God. | Così voi rimarrete in pochi, dopo essere stati numerosi come le stelle del cielo, perché non hai ubbidito alla voce dell'Eterno, il tuo DIO. |
| 63 | De même que l'Éternel prenait plaisir à vous faire du bien et à vous multiplier, de même l'Éternel prendra plaisir à vous faire périr et à vous détruire ; et vous serez arrachés du pays dont tu vas entrer en possession. | And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it. | E avverrà che, come l'Eterno prendeva piacere nel farvi del bene e nel moltiplicarvi, così l'Eterno prenderà piacere nel farvi perire e nel distruggervi; e sarete strappati dal paese che entri ad occupare. |
| 64 | L'Éternel te dispersera parmi tous les peuples, d'une extrémité de la terre à l'autre ; et là, tu serviras d'autres dieux que n'ont connus ni toi, ni tes pères, du bois et de la pierre. | And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. | L'Eterno ti disperderà fra tutti i popoli, da un'estremità all'altra della terra; e là servirai altri dèi, che né tu né i tuoi padri avete mai conosciuto, di legno e di pietra. |
| 65 | Parmi ces nations, tu ne seras pas tranquille, et tu n'auras pas un lieu de repos pour la plante de tes pieds. L'Éternel rendra ton coeur agité, tes yeux languissants, ton âme souffrante. | And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind: | E fra quelle nazioni non troverai requie e non vi sarà luogo di riposo per la pianta dei tuoi piedi; là l'Eterno ti darà un cuore tremante, occhi che si struggono e angoscia d'anima. |
| 66 | Ta vie sera comme en suspens devant toi, tu trembleras la nuit et le jour, tu douteras de ton existence. | And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life: | La tua vita ti starà davanti come sospesa nell'incertezza; tremerai notte e giorno e non avrai alcuna sicurezza della tua esistenza. |
| 67 | Dans l'effroi qui remplira ton coeur et en présence de ce que tes yeux verront, tu diras le matin : Puisse le soir être là ! et tu diras le soir : Puisse le matin être là ! | In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. | La mattina dirai: "Fosse sera!", e la sera dirai: "Fosse mattina!", a motivo dello spavento che riempirà il tuo cuore ed a motivo dello spettacolo che i tuoi occhi vedranno. |
| 68 | Et l'Éternel te ramènera sur des navires en Égypte, et tu feras ce chemin dont je t'avais dit : Tu ne le reverras plus ! Là, vous vous offrirez en vente à vos ennemis, comme esclaves et comme servantes ; et il n'y aura personne pour vous acheter. | And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you. | E l'Eterno ti farà tornare in Egitto su navi, per la via di cui ti avevo detto: "Non la rivedrai mai più!". E là sarete offerti in vendita ai vostri nemici come schiavi e come schiave, ma nessuno vi comprerà. |
