| 2 | Au jour où vous aurez passé le Jourdain, pour entrer au pays que l'Éternel ton Dieu te donne, tu te dresseras de grandes pierres, et tu les enduiras de chaux. | And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over the Jordan unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster: | Il giorno in cui attraverserete il Giordano per entrare nel paese che l'Eterno, il vostro DIO, vi dà, erigerai per te delle grandi pietre e le intonacherai di calce. |
| 3 | Puis tu y écriras toutes les paroles de cette loi, quand tu auras passé pour entrer dans le pays que l'Éternel ton Dieu te donne, pays où coulent le lait et le miel, comme l'Éternel, le Dieu de tes pères, te l'a dit. | and thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over; that thou mayest go in unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Jehovah, the God of thy fathers, hath promised thee. | Poi scriverai su di esse tutte le parole di questa legge, quando attraverserai il Giordano per entrare nel paese che l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, ti dà, un paese dove scorre latte e miele, come l'Eterno, il DIO dei tuoi padri, ti ha detto. |
| 4 | Quand donc vous aurez passé le Jourdain, vous dresserez ces pierres, selon que je vous le commande aujourd'hui, sur le mont Ébal; et tu les enduiras de chaux. | And it shall be, when ye are passed over the Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster. | Quando dunque attraverserete il Giordano, erigerete sul monte Ebal queste pietre, come oggi vi comando, e le intonacherete di calce. |
| 5 | Tu bâtiras aussi là un autel à l'Éternel ton Dieu, un autel de pierres, sur lesquelles tu ne lèveras point le fer. | And there shalt thou build an altar unto Jehovah thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt lift up no iron [tool] upon them. | Là costruirai pure un altare all'Eterno, il tuo DIO, un altare di pietre, sulle quali non userai alcun strumento di ferro. |
| 6 | Tu bâtiras l'autel de l'Éternel ton Dieu, de pierres entières, et tu y offriras des holocaustes à l'Éternel ton Dieu; | Thou shalt build the altar of Jehovah thy God of unhewn stones; and thou shalt offer burnt-offerings thereon unto Jehovah thy God: | Costruirai l'altare dell'Eterno, il tuo DIO, con pietre intatte e su di esso offrirai olocausti all'Eterno, il tuo DIO. |
| 7 | Tu y offriras aussi des sacrifices de prospérité, et tu mangeras là, et te réjouiras devant l'Éternel ton Dieu. | and thou shalt sacrifice peace-offerings, and shalt eat there; and thou shalt rejoice before Jehovah thy God. | Offrirai sacrifici di ringraziamento, e là mangerai e gioirai davanti all'Eterno, il tuo DIO. |
| 8 | Et tu écriras sur les pierres toutes les paroles de cette loi, en les y gravant bien. | And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly. | E scriverai su quelle pietre tutte le parole di questa legge a caratteri molto chiari. |
| 9 | Et Moïse et les sacrificateurs, de la race de Lévi, parlèrent à tout Israël, en disant: Fais silence et écoute, Israël! Tu es aujourd'hui devenu le peuple de l'Éternel ton Dieu; | And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Keep silence, and hearken, O Israel: this day thou art become the people of Jehovah thy God. | Poi Mosè e i sacerdoti levitici parlarono a tutto Israele, dicendo: Fa' silenzio e ascolta, o Israele! Oggi sei divenuto il popolo dell'Eterno, il tuo DIO. |
| 10 | Tu obéiras donc à la voix de l'Éternel ton Dieu, et tu observeras ses commandements et ses statuts que je te prescris aujourd'hui. | Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of Jehovah thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day. | Ubbidirai quindi alla voce dell'Eterno, il tuo DIO, e metterai in pratica i suoi comandamenti e le sue leggi che oggi ti prescrivo. |

| 12 | Quand vous aurez passé le Jourdain, que Siméon, Lévi, Juda, Issacar, Joseph et Benjamin se tiennent sur le mont Garizim, pour bénir le peuple; | These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are passed over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin. | Quando avrete attraversato il Giordano, ecco quelli che staranno sul monte Gherizim per benedire il popolo: Simeone, Levi, Giuda, Issacar, Giuseppe e Beniamino; |
| 13 | Et que Ruben, Gad, Asser, Zabulon, Dan, Nephthali, se tiennent sur le mont Ébal, pour maudire. | And these shall stand upon mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali. | ed ecco quelli che staranno sul monte Ebal, per pronunziare la maledizione: Ruben, Gad, Ascer, Zabulon, Dan e Neftali. |
| 14 | Et les Lévites prendront la parole, et diront, à haute voix, à tous les hommes d'Israël: | And the Levites shall answer, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice, | I Leviti parleranno e diranno ad alta voce a tutti gli uomini d'Israele: |
| 15 | Maudit soit l'homme qui fera une image taillée ou de fonte, abomination de l'Éternel, ouvrage des mains d'un ouvrier, et qui la mettra dans un lieu secret! Et tout le peuple répondra, et dira: Amen! | Cursed be the man that maketh a graven or molten image, an abomination unto Jehovah, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and setteth it up in secret. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen. | "Maledetto l'uomo che fa un'immagine scolpita o di metallo fuso, cosa abominevole per l'Eterno, opera delle mani di un artigiano, e la pone in luogo segreto" E tutto il popolo risponderà e dirà: "Amen". |
| 16 | Maudit soit celui qui méprise son père et sa mère! Et tout le peuple dira: Amen! | Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. | "Maledetto chi disprezza suo padre o sua madre!". E tutto il popolo dirà: "Amen". |
| 17 | Maudit celui qui déplace la borne de son prochain! Et tout le peuple dira: Amen! | Cursed be he that removeth his neighbor`s landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen. | "Maledetto chi sposta i confini del vicino!". E tutto il popolo dirà: "Amen". |
| 18 | Maudit celui qui fait égarer l'aveugle dans le chemin! Et tout le peuple dira: Amen! | Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen. | "Maledetto chi fa smarrire al cieco il suo cammino!". E tutto il popolo dirà: "Amen". |
| 19 | Maudit celui qui pervertit le droit de l'étranger, de l'orphelin et de la veuve! Et tout le peuple dira: Amen! | Cursed be he that wresteth the justice [due] to the sojourner, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen. | "Maledetto chi lede il diritto dello straniero, dell'orfano e della vedova!". E tutto il popolo dirà: "Amen". |
| 20 | Maudit celui qui couche avec la femme de son père! Car il lève le bord de la couverture de son père. Et tout le peuple dira: Amen! | Cursed be he that lieth with his father`s wife, because he hath uncovered his father`s skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen. | "Maledetto chi si corica con la moglie di suo padre, perché ha sollevato il lembo della coperta di suo padre!". E tutto il popolo dirà: "Amen". |
| 21 | Maudit celui qui couche avec une bête quelconque! Et tout le peuple dira: Amen! | Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen. | "Maledetto chi si corica con qualsiasi bestia!". E tutto il popolo dirà: "Amen". |
| 22 | Maudit celui qui couche avec sa soeur, fille de son père, ou fille de sa mère! Et tout le peuple dira: Amen! | Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. | "Maledetto chi si corica con la propria sorella, figlia di suo padre o figlia di sua madre!". E tutto il popolo dirà: "Amen". |
| 23 | Maudit celui qui couche avec sa belle-mère! Et tout le peuple dira: Amen! | Cursed be he that lieth with his mother-in-law. And all the people shall say, Amen. | "Maledetto chi si corica con sua suocera!". E tutto il popolo dirà: "Amen". |
| 24 | Maudit celui qui frappe son prochain en cachette! Et tout le peuple dira: Amen! | Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbor in secret. And all the people shall say, Amen. | "Maledetto chi uccide il suo prossimo in segreto!". E tutto il popolo dirà: "Amen". |
| 25 | Maudit celui qui reçoit un présent pour mettre à mort l'innocent! Et tout le peuple dira: Amen! | Cursed be he that taketh a bribe to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen. | "Maledetto chi accetta un regalo per colpire a morte un innocente!". E tutto il popolo dirà: "Amen". |
| 26 | Maudit celui qui n'accomplit pas les paroles de cette loi, en les mettant en pratique! Et tout le peuple dira: Amen! | Cursed be he that confirmeth not the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen. | "Maledetto chi non si attiene alle parole di questa legge, per metterle in pratica!". E tutto il popolo dirà: "Amen". |
