| 1 | If one be found slain in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath slain him: | Quand il se trouvera sur la terre que l'Eternel ton Dieu te donne pour la posséder, un homme qui a été tué, étendu dans un champ, et qu'on ne saura pas qui l'aura tué; | Se nel paese che l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, sta per darti in possesso, si trova un uomo ucciso, disteso in un campo, e non si sa chi l'abbia ucciso, |
| 2 | Then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round about him that is slain: | Alors tes Anciens et tes Juges sortiront, et mesureront depuis l'homme qui aura été tué, jusqu'aux villes qui sont tout autour de lui. | i tuoi anziani e i tuoi giudici usciranno e misureranno la distanza fra l'ucciso e le città dei dintorni. |
| 3 | And it shall be, that the city which is next unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take an heifer, which hath not been wrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke; | Puis les Anciens de la ville la plus proche de l'homme qui aura été tué, prendront une jeune vache du troupeau, de laquelle on ne se soit point servi, et qui n'ait point tiré étant sous le joug; | Poi gli anziani della città più vicina all'ucciso prenderanno una giovenca che non abbia ancora lavorato né portato il giogo. |
| 4 | And the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough valley, which is neither eared nor sown, and shall strike off the heifer's neck there in the valley: | Et les Anciens de cette ville-là feront descendre la jeune vache en une vallée rude, dans laquelle on ne laboure, ni ne sème, et là ils couperont le cou à la jeune vache dans la vallée. | Gli anziani di quella città faranno scendere la giovenca presso un corso di acqua corrente, in luogo che non è né arato né seminato, e là vicino al corso d'acqua spezzeranno il collo alla giovenca. |
| 5 | And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the LORD thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the LORD; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be tried: | Et les Sacrificateurs, fils de Lévi, s'approcheront; car l'Eternel ton Dieu les a choisis pour faire son service, et pour bénir au Nom de l'Eternel; et afin qu'à leur parole toute cause et toute plaie soit définie. | Poi si avvicineranno i sacerdoti, figli di Levi perché l'Eterno il tuo DIO, li ha scelti per servirlo e per dare la benedizione nel nome dell'Eterno, e la loro parola deve decidere ogni controversia e ogni lesione corporale. |
| 6 | And all the elders of that city, that are next unto the slain man, shall wash their hands over the heifer that is beheaded in the valley: | Et tous les Anciens de cette ville-là, qui seront les plus près de l'homme qui aura été tué, laveront leurs mains sur la jeune vache, à laquelle on aura coupé le cou dans la vallée, | Allora tutti gli anziani della città, che è più vicina all'ucciso, si laveranno le mani sulla giovenca a cui è stato spezzato il collo vicino al corso d'acqua; |
| 7 | And they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it. | Et prenant la parole ils diront: Nos mains n'ont point répandu ce sang; nos yeux aussi ne l'ont point vu répandre. | e, prendendo la parola, diranno: "Le nostre mani non hanno sparso questo sangue, né i nostri occhi hanno visto. |
| 8 | Be merciful, O LORD, unto thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and lay not innocent blood unto thy people of Israel's charge. And the blood shall be forgiven them. | Ô Eternel! Sois propice à ton peuple d'Israël que tu as racheté, et ne lui impute point le sang innocent qui a été répandu au milieu de ton peuple d'Israël; et le meurtre sera expié pour eux. | O Eterno, perdona al tuo popolo Israele che tu hai riscattato, e non addossare la colpa di sangue innocente sul tuo popolo Israele". E quel sangue sarà loro perdonato. |
| 9 | So shalt thou put away the guilt of innocent blood from among you, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD. | Et tu ôteras le sang innocent du milieu de toi, parce que tu auras fait ce que l'Eternel approuve et trouve juste. | Così tu toglierai di mezzo a te la colpa del sangue innocente, facendo ciò che è giusto agli occhi dell'Eterno. |
| 10 | When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive, | Quand tu seras allé à la guerre contre tes ennemis, et que l'Eternel ton Dieu les aura livrés entre tes mains et que tu en auras emmené des prisonniers; | Quando andrai in guerra contro i tuoi nemici e l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, te li darà nelle mani e tu li farai prigionieri, |
| 11 | And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife; | Si tu vois entre les prisonniers quelque belle femme, et qu'ayant conçu pour elle de l'affection, tu veuilles la prendre pour ta femme; | se vedi tra i prigionieri una donna di bell'aspetto e ti piace tanto da volerla prendere per tua moglie, |
| 12 | Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house, and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails; | Alors tu la mèneras en ta maison, et elle rasera sa tête, et fera ses ongles; | la condurrai a casa tua, ed ella si raderà il capo e si taglierà le unghie, |
| 13 | And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife. | Et elle ôtera de dessus soi les habits qu'elle portait lorsqu'elle a été faite prisonnière; et elle demeurera en ta maison, et pleurera son père et sa mère un mois durant; puis tu viendras vers elle, et tu seras son mari, et elle sera ta femme. | si leverà la veste di prigioniera, abiterà in casa tua e farà cordoglio per suo padre e sua madre un mese intero; poi entrerai da lei, e sarai suo marito e lei tua moglie. |
| 14 | And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled her. | S'il arrive qu'elle ne te plaise plus, tu la renverras selon sa volonté, mais tu ne la pourras point vendre pour de l'argent, ni en faire aucun trafic parce que tu l'auras humiliée. | Se in seguito non ti piace più, la lascerai andare dove vuole, ma non la potrai affatto vendere per denaro né trattarla da schiava, perché l'hai umiliata. |
| 15 | If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated: | Quand un homme aura deux femmes, l'une aimée, et l'autre haïe, et qu'elles lui auront enfanté des enfants, tant celle qui est aimée, que celle qui est haïe, et que le fils aîné soit de celle qui est haïe; | Se un uomo ha due mogli, l'una amata e l'altra odiata, e tanto l'amata che l'odiata gli hanno generato dei figli, se il primogenito è figlio dell'odiata, |
| 16 | Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn: | Lorsque le jour viendra qu'il partagera à ses enfants ce qu'il aura, alors il ne pourra pas faire aîné le fils de celle qui est aimée, préférablement au fils de celle qui est haïe, lequel est né le premier. | nel giorno che lascia per testamento i beni che possiede ai figli non potrà segnare la primogenitura al figlio dell'amata, preferendolo al figlio dell'odiata che è il primogenito; |
| 17 | But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his. | Mais il reconnaîtra le fils de celle qui est haïe pour son premier-né, en lui donnant la portion de deux, de tout ce qui se trouvera lui appartenir; car il est le commencement de sa vigueur; le droit d'aînesse lui appartient. | ma riconoscerà come primogenito il figlio dell'odiata, dandogli una parte doppia di tutto ciò che possiede; poiché egli è la primizia del suo vigore e a lui appartiene il diritto di primogenitura. |
| 18 | If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them: | Quand un homme aura un enfant méchant et rebelle, n'obéissant point à la voix de son père, ni à la voix de sa mère, et qu'ils l'auront châtié, et que, nonobstant cela, il ne les écoute point; | Se un uomo ha un figlio caparbio e ribelle che non ubbidisce né alla voce di suo padre né alla voce di sua madre e, benché l'abbiano castigato, non dà loro retta, |
| 19 | Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place; | Alors le père et la mère le prendront, et le mèneront aux Anciens de sa ville, et à la porte de son lieu; | suo padre e sua madre lo prenderanno e lo porteranno dagli anziani della sua città, alla porta del luogo dove abita, |
| 20 | And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. | Et ils diront aux Anciens de sa ville: C'est ici notre fils qui est méchant et rebelle, il n'obéit point à notre voix, il est gourmand et ivrogne. | e diranno agli anziani della sua città: "Questo nostro figlio è caparbio e ribelle; non vuole ubbidire alla nostra voce; è un ghiottone e un ubriacone". |
| 21 | And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear. | Et tous les gens de la ville le lapideront, et il mourra; et ainsi tu ôteras le méchant du milieu de toi, afin que tout Israël l'entende, et qu'il craigne. | Allora tutti gli uomini della sua città lo lapideranno con pietre ed egli morirà; così sradicherai il male di mezzo a te, e tutto Israele verrà a saperlo e avrà timore. |
| 22 | And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: | Quand un homme aura commis quelque péché, digne de mort, et qu'on le fera mourir, et que tu le pendras à un bois; | Se uno ha commesso un delitto che merita la morte ed è stato messo a morte, e tu l'hai appeso a un albero, |
| 23 | His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance. | Son corps mort ne demeurera point la nuit sur le bois, mais tu ne manqueras point de l'ensevelir, le même jour, car celui qui est pendu est malédiction de Dieu; c'est pourquoi tu ne souilleras point la terre que l'Eternel ton Dieu te donne en héritage. | il suo cadavere non rimarrà tutta la notte sull'albero, ma lo seppellirai lo stesso giorno; perché colui che è appeso è maledetto da Dio, e tu non contaminerai la terra che l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, ti dà in eredità. |
