| 4 | Et Dieu essuiera toutes larmes de leurs yeux, et la mort ne sera plus; et il n'y aura plus ni deuil, ni cri, ni travail; car les premières choses sont passées. | and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away. | E Dio asciugherà ogni lacrima dai loro occhi, e non ci sarà più la morte né cordoglio né grido né fatica, perché le cose di prima son passate. |

| 7 | Celui qui vaincra, héritera toutes choses; et je lui serai Dieu, et il me sera fils. | He that overcometh shall inherit these things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. | Chi vince erediterà tutte le cose, e io sarò per lui Dio ed egli sarà per me figlio. |
| 8 | Mais quant aux timides, aux incrédules, aux exécrables, aux meurtriers, aux fornicateurs, aux empoisonneurs, aux idolâtres et à tous menteurs, leur part sera dans l'étang ardent de feu et de soufre, qui est la mort seconde. | But for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part [shall be] in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death. | Ma per i codardi, gl'increduli, gl'immondi, gli omicidi, i fornicatori, i maghi, gli idolatri e tutti i bugiardi, la loro parte sarà nello stagno che arde con fuoco e zolfo, che è la morte seconda. |

| 14 | Et la muraille de la Cité avait douze fondements, et les noms des douze Apôtres de l'Agneau étaient écrits dessus. | And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. | Il muro della città aveva dodici fondamenti, e su quelli erano i dodici nomi dei dodici apostoli dell'Agnello. |
| 15 | Et celui qui parlait avec moi avait un roseau d'or pour mesurer la Cité, ses portes et sa muraille. | And he that spake with me had for a measure a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. | E colui che parlava con me aveva una canna d'oro, per misurare la città, le sue porte e il suo muro. |
| 16 | Et la cité était bâtie en carré, et sa longueur était aussi grande que sa largeur. Il mesura donc la Cité avec le roseau d'or, jusqu'à douze mille stades; la longueur, la largeur et la hauteur étaient égales. | And the city lieth foursquare, and the length thereof is as great as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs: the length and the breadth and the height thereof are equal. | La città era a forma quadrangolare, e la sua lunghezza era uguale alla larghezza; egli misurò la città con la canna, ed era di dodicimila stadi; la sua lunghezza, larghezza e altezza erano uguali. |

| 21 | Et les douze portes étaient douze perles; chacune des portes était d'une perle; et la rue de la cité était d'or pur, comme du verre le plus transparent. | And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the several gates was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. | E le dodici porte erano dodici perle; ciascuna delle porte era fatta di una sola perla; e la piazza della città era di oro puro, come di cristallo trasparente. |
| 22 | Et je ne vis point de Temple en elle; parce que le Seigneur Dieu Tout-puissant et l'Agneau en sont le Temple. | And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God the Almighty, and the Lamb, are the temple thereof. | Non vidi in essa alcun tempio, perché il Signore Dio onnipotente e l'Agnello sono il suo tempio. |
| 23 | Et la Cité n'a pas besoin du soleil ni de la lune, pour luire en elle; car la clarté de Dieu l'a éclairée, et l'Agneau est son flambeau. | And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp thereof [is] the Lamb. | E la città non ha bisogno del sole né della luna, che risplendano in lei, perché la gloria di Dio la illumina e l'Agnello è il suo luminare. |
| 24 | Et les nations qui auront été sauvées, marcheront à la faveur de sa lumière; et les Rois de la terre y apporteront ce qu'ils ont de plus magnifique et de plus précieux. | And the nations shall walk amidst the light thereof: and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it. | E le nazioni di quelli che sono salvati cammineranno alla sua luce, e i re della terra porteranno la loro gloria ed onore in lei. |
| 25 | Et ses portes ne seront point fermées de jour; or il n'y aura point là de nuit. | And the gates thereof shall in no wise be shut by day (for there shall be no night there): | Le sue porte non saranno mai chiuse durante il giorno, perché lì non vi sarà notte alcuna. |
| 26 | Et on y apportera ce que les Gentils ont de plus magnifique et de plus précieux. | and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it: | In lei si porterà la gloria e l'onore delle nazioni. |
| 27 | Il n'y entrera aucune chose souillée, ni personne qui s'abandonne à l'abomination et au mensonge; mais seulement ceux qui sont écrits au Livre de vie de l'Agneau. | and there shall in no wise enter into it anything unclean, or he that maketh an abomination and a lie: but only they that are written in the Lamb`s book of life. | E nulla d'immondo e nessuno che commetta abominazione o falsità vi entrerà mai, ma soltanto quelli che sono scritti nel libro della vita dell'Agnello. |
