| 1 | Puis je vis dans le ciel un autre signe, grand et étonnant : sept anges qui tenaient en main sept plaies, les dernières, car c'est par elles que doit se consommer la colère de Dieu. | And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having seven plagues, [which are] the last, for in them is finished the wrath of God. |
| 2 | Et je vis comme une mer de verre, mêlée de feu, et au bord de cette mer étaient debout les vainqueurs de la bête, de son image et du nombre de son nom, tenant les harpes sacrées. | And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire; and them that come off victorious from the beast, and from his image, and from the number of his name, standing by the sea of glass, having harps of God. |
| 3 | Ils chantaient le Cantique de Moïse, le serviteur de Dieu, et le cantique de l'Agneau disant : "Grandes et admirables sont vos oeuvres Seigneur, Dieu tout-puissant ! Justes et véritables, sont vos voies, ô Roi des siècles! | And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, O Lord God, the Almighty; righteous and true are thy ways, thou King of the ages. |
| 4 | Qui ne craindrait, Seigneur, et ne glorifierait votre nom ? Car vous seul êtes saint. Et toutes les nations viendront se prosterner devant vous, parce que vos jugements ont éclaté." | Who shall not fear, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy; for all the nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy righteous acts have been made manifest. |
| 5 | Après cela, je vis s'ouvrir dans le ciel le sanctuaire du tabernacle du témoignage. | And after these things I saw, and the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: |
| 6 | Et les sept anges qui ont en main les sept plaies sortirent du sanctuaire ; ils étaient vêtus d'un lin pur et éclatant, et portaient des ceintures d'or autour de la poitrine. | and there came out from the temple the seven angels that had the seven plagues, arrayed with [precious] stone, pure [and] bright, and girt about their breasts with golden girdles. |
| 7 | Alors l'un des quatre animaux donna aux sept anges sept coupes d'or, pleines de la colère de Dieu qui vit aux siècles des siècles. | And one of the four living creatures gave unto the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. |
| 8 | Et le sanctuaire fut rempli de fumée par la gloire de Dieu et par sa puissance, et personne ne pouvait entrer dans le sanctuaire jusqu'à ce que fussent consommées les sept plaies des sept anges. | And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and none was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels should be finished. |
