| 1 | Je vis le Seigneur, se tenant debout sur l'autel, et il dit: Frappe le linteau, afin que les seuils soient ébranlés, et brise-leur la tête à tous; et ce qui restera d'eux, je le tuerai par l'épée. Celui d'entre eux qui s'enfuira, ne se sauvera pas par la fuite, et celui d'entre eux qui échappera, ne seras pas délivré. | I saw the Lord standing beside the altar: and he said, Smite the capitals, that the thresholds may shake; and break them in pieces on the head of all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: there shall not one of them flee away, and there shall not one of them escape. | Io vidi il Signore che stava in piedi vicino all'Altare e disse: Colpisci i capitelli e siano scosse le porte, e spezzali sulla testa di tutti loro. | 2 | Quand ils pénétreraient jusque dans le shéol, de là ma main les prendra; et quand ils monteraient dans les cieux, je les en ferai descendre; | Though they dig into Sheol, thence shall my hand take them; and though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down. | Anche se penetrassero nello Sceol, di là li strapperà la mia mano, anche se salissero in cielo, di là io li tirerò giù. |
| 3 | et quand ils se cacheraient au sommet du Carmel, je les y chercherai, et de là je les prendrai; et quand ils se seraient cachés de devant mes yeux, au fond de la mer, là je commanderai au serpent, et il les mordra; | And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and it shall bite them. | Anche se si nascondessero in cima al Karmel, di là li scoverò e li prenderò; anche se si celassero al mio sguardo in fondo al mare, là comanderò al serpente di morderli |
| 4 | et quand ils iraient en captivité devant leurs ennemis, là, je commanderai à l'épée, et elle les tuera; et je mettrai mes yeux sur eux pour le mal et non pour le bien. | And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good. | anche se andassero in cattività davanti ai loro nemici, là comanderò alla spada di ucciderli. Io fisserò su di loro i miei occhi per il male e non per il bene. |
| 5 | Et le Seigneur, l'Éternel des armées, c'est lui qui touche le pays, et il fond; et tous ceux qui y habitent mèneront deuil; et il montera tout entier comme le Nil, et il s'abaissera comme le fleuve d'Égypte. | For the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, [is] he that toucheth the land and it melteth, and all that dwell therein shall mourn; and it shall rise up wholly like the River, and shall sink again, like the River of Egypt; | Il Signore, L'eterno degli eserciti, è lui che tocca la terra ed essa si fonde, e tutti i suoi abitanti fanno cordoglio; essa si solleva tutta quanta come il Nilo e si abbassa come il fiume d'egitto. |
| 6 | C'est lui qui bâtit dans les cieux ses degrés, et qui a fondé sa voûte sur la terre; qui appelle les eaux de la mer, et les verse sur la face de la terre; l'Éternel est son nom. | [it is] he that buildeth his chambers in the heavens, and hath founded his vault upon the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth; Jehovah is his name. | E lui che costruisce nei cieli le sue stanze superiori e ha fondato la sua volta sulla terra; è lui che chiama le acque del mare e le riversa sulla faccia della terra; il suo nome è l'Eterno. |
| 7 | N'êtes-vous pas pour moi comme les fils des Éthiopiens, ô fils d'Israël? dit l'Éternel. N'ai-je pas fait monter Israël du pays d'Égypte, et les Philistins de Caphtor, et les Syriens de Kir? | Are ye not as the children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith Jehovah. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir? | Non siete voi per me come i figli degli Etiopi, o figli d'Israele?, dice l'Eterno. Non ho io fatto uscire Israele dal paese d'Egitto, i Filistei da Kaftor e i Siri da Kir? |
| 8 | Voici, les yeux du Seigneur, l'Éternel, sont sur le royaume pécheur, et je le détruirai de dessus la face de la terre; seulement je ne détruirai pas entièrement la maison de Jacob, dit l'Éternel. | Behold, the eyes of the Lord Jehovah are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; save that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith Jehovah. | Ecco, gli occhi del Signore l'Eterno, sono sul regno peccatore: io lo sterminerò dalla faccia della terra, ma non sterminerò del tutto la casa di Giacobbe, dice l'Eterno. |
| 9 | Car voici, je commande, et je secouerai la maison d'Israël parmi toutes les nations, comme on secoue dans un crible, mais pas un grain ne tombera à terre. | For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all the nations, like as [grain] is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least kernel fall upon the earth. | Poiché ecco, io darò il comando e vaglierò la casa d'Israele fra tutte le nazioni, come si vaglia col setaccio, ma a terra non cadrà neppure il più piccolo chicco di grano. |
| 10 | C'est par l'épée que mourront tous les pécheurs de mon peuple, qui disent: Le mal ne nous atteindra pas, et ne viendra pas jusqu'à nous. | All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, who say, The evil shall not overtake nor meet us. | Tutti i peccatori del mio popolo moriranno per la spada, essi che dicono: "La calamità non si avvicinerà né giungerà fino a noi". |
| 11 | En ce jour-là, je relèverai le tabernacle de David, qui est tombé, et je fermerai ses brèches, et je relèverai ses ruines, et je le bâtirai comme aux jours d'autrefois, | In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old; | In quel giorno, io rialzerò il tabernacolo di Davide che è caduto, riparerò le sue brecce e rialzerò le sue rovine, e lo ricostruirò come nei giorni antichi, |
| 12 | afin qu'ils possèdent le reste d'Édom, et toutes les nations sur lesquelles mon nom est réclamé, dit l'Éternel qui fait cela. | that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations that are called by my name, saith Jehovah that doeth this. | affinché posseggano il resto di Edom e tutte le nazioni sulle quali è invocato il mio nome, dice l'Eterno che farà questo. |
| 13 | Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, où celui qui laboure atteindra celui qui moissonne, et celui qui foule les raisins, celui qui répand la semence; et les montagnes ruisselleront de moût, et toutes les collines se fondront. | Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. | Ecco, i giorni vengono, dice l'Eterno, in cui chi ara giungerà vicino a chi miete e chi pigia l'uva a chi sparge il seme; allora i monti stilleranno mosto, che scorrerà giù per i colli. |
| 14 | Et je rétablirai les captifs de mon peuple Israël, et ils bâtiront les villes dévastées et y habiteront, et ils planteront des vignes et en boiront le vin, et ils feront des jardins et en mangeront le fruit. | And I will bring back the captivity of my people Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. | Farò tornare dalla cattività il mio popolo Israele, ed essi ricostruiranno le città desolate e le abiteranno, pianteranno vigne e ne berranno il vino, coltiveranno giardini e ne mangeranno i frutti. |
| 15 | Et je les planterai sur leur terre, et ils ne seront plus arrachés de dessus leur terre que je leur ai donnée, dit l'Éternel, ton Dieu. | And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them, saith Jehovah thy God. | Li pianterò sulla loro terra e non saranno mai più sradicati dal suolo che io ho dato loro, dice l'Eterno, il tuo DIO. |
