A cause de ma maison, qui est détruite, Tandis que vous vous empressez chacun pour sa maison. | Ye looked for much, and, lo it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Et le peuple fut saisi de crainte devant l'Éternel. | Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD. | Zorobabel, figlio di Scealtiel, e Giosué, figlio di Jehotsadak, il sommo sacerdote, e tutto il resto del popolo diedero ascolto alla voce dell'Eterno, il loro DIO, e alle parole del profeta Aggeo perché l'Eterno, il loro DIO, lo aveva mandato, e il popolo ebbe timore della presenza dell'Eterno. |
