And he [said], I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: | Ed egli disse: Chi sei, Signore?. E il Signore disse. Io sono Gesù, che tu perseguiti; ti è duro recalcitrare contro i pungoli. |

Et le Seigneur lui dit: lève-toi, et entre dans la ville, et là il te sera dit ce que tu dois faire. | but rise, and enter into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. | Allora egli, tutto tremante e spaventato, disse: Signore, che vuoi ch'io faccia?. E il Signore: Alzati ed entra nella città, e ti sarà detto ciò che devi fare. |
| 7 | Et les hommes qui marchaient avec lui s'arrêtèrent tout épouvantés, entendant bien la voix, mais ne voyant personne. | And the men that journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing the voice, but beholding no man. | Or gli uomini che viaggiavano con lui si fermarono attoniti, perché udivano il suono della voce, ma non vedevano alcuno. |
| 8 | Et Saul se leva de terre, et ouvrant ses yeux, il ne voyait personne; c'est pourquoi ils le conduisirent par la main, et le menèrent à Damas; | And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw nothing; and they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. | Poi Saulo si alzò da terra ma, aperti gli occhi, non vedeva alcuno; allora prendendolo per mano, lo condussero in Damasco. |
| 9 | Où il fut trois jours sans voir, sans manger ni boire. | And he was three days without sight, and did neither eat nor drink. | E rimase tre giorni senza vedere, nei quali né mangiò né bevve. |
| 10 | Or il y avait à Damas un disciple, nommé Ananias, à qui le Seigneur dit en vision: Ananias! Et il répondit: me voici, Seigneur. | Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and the Lord said unto him in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I [am here], Lord. | Or a Damasco vi era un discepolo di nome Anania, al quale il Signore disse in visione: Anania!. Ed egli rispose: Eccomi, Signore!. |
| 11 | Et le Seigneur lui dit: lève-toi, et t'en va en la rue nommée la droite, et cherche dans la maison de Judas un homme appelé Saul, qui est de Tarse: car voilà il prie. | And the Lord [said] unto him, Arise, and go to the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus: for behold, he prayeth; | E il Signore a lui: Alzati e recati nella strada detta Diritta, e cerca in casa di Giuda un uomo di Tarso di nome Saulo, che sta pregando; |
| 12 | Or Saul avait vu en vision un homme nommé Ananias, entrant, et lui imposant les mains, afin qu'il recouvrât la vue. | and he hath seen a man named Ananias coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight. | egli ha visto in visione un uomo, di nome Anania, entrare e imporgli le mani perché ricuperi la vista. |
| 13 | Et Ananias répondit: Seigneur! j'ai ouï parler à plusieurs de cet homme-là; et combien de maux il a faits à tes Saints dans Jérusalem. | But Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many of this man, how much evil he did to thy saints at Jerusalem: | Allora Anania rispose: Signore, io ho sentito molti parlare di quest'uomo di quanto male ha fatto ai tuoi santi in Gerusalemme. |
| 14 | Il a même ici le pouvoir de la part des principaux Sacrificateurs, de lier tous ceux qui invoquent ton Nom. | and here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call upon thy name. | E qui ha l'autorizzazione dai capi dei sacerdoti, di imprigionare tutti coloro che invocano il tuo nome. |
| 15 | Mais le Seigneur lui dit: va; car il m'est un vaisseau que j'ai choisi, pour porter mon Nom devant les Gentils, et les Rois, et les enfants d'Israël. | But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles and kings, and the children of Israel: | Ma il Signore gli disse: Va perché costui è uno strumento da me scelto per portare il mio nome davanti alle genti, ai re e ai figli d'Israele. |
| 16 | Car je lui montrerai combien il aura à souffrir pour mon Nom. | for I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name`s sake. | Poiché io gli mostrerò quante cose egli deve soffrire per il mio nome. |
| 17 | Ananias donc s'en alla, et entra dans la maison; et lui imposant les mains, il lui dit: Saul mon frère, le Seigneur Jésus, qui t'est apparu dans le chemin par où tu venais, m'a envoyé, afin que tu recouvres la vue, et que tu sois rempli du Saint-Esprit. | And Ananias departed, and entered into the house; and laying his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, [even] Jesus, who appeared unto thee in the way which thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mayest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit. | Anania dunque andò ed entrò in quella casa; e, imponendogli le mani, disse: Fratello Saulo, il Signore Gesù, che ti è apparso sulla via per la quale venivi, mi ha mandato perché tu ricuperi la vista e sii ripieno di Spirito Santo. |
| 18 | Et aussitôt il tomba de ses yeux comme des écailles; et à l'instant il recouvra la vue; puis il se leva, et fut baptisé. | And straightway there fell from his eyes as it were scales, and he received his sight; and he arose and was baptized; | In quell'istante gli caddero dagli occhi come delle scaglie, e riacquistò la vista; poi si alzò e fu battezzato. |
| 19 | Et ayant mangé il reprit ses forces. Et Saul fut quelques jours avec les disciples qui étaient à Damas. | and he took food and was strengthened. And he was certain days with the disciples that were at Damascus. | E, dopo aver preso cibo, egli ricuperò le forze. Poi Saulo rimase alcuni giorni con i discepoli che erano a Damasco. |
| 20 | Et il prêcha incessamment dans les Synagogues, que Christ était le Fils de Dieu. | And straightway in the synagogues he proclaimed Jesus, that he is the Son of God. | E subito si mise a predicare il Cristo nelle sinagoghe, proclamando che egli è il Figlio di Dio. |
| 21 | Et tous ceux qui l'entendaient, étaient comme ravis hors d'eux-mêmes, et ils disaient: n'est-ce pas celui-là qui a détruit à Jérusalem ceux qui invoquaient ce Nom, et qui est venu ici exprès pour les amener liés aux principaux Sacrificateurs. | And all that heard him were amazed, and said, Is not this he that in Jerusalem made havoc of them that called on this name? and he had come hither for this intent, that he might bring them bound before the chief priests. | E tutti quelli che lo udivano stupivano e dicevano: Non è costui quel tale che a Gerusalemme perseguitava tutti coloro che invocavano questo nome, ed è venuto qui col preciso scopo di condurli prigionieri dai capi dei sacerdoti?. |
| 22 | Mais Saul se fortifiait de plus en plus, et confondait les Juifs qui demeuraient à Damas, prouvant que Jésus était le Christ. | But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews that dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is the Christ. | Ma Saulo confondeva i Giudei che abitavano a Damasco, dimostrando che Gesù è il Cristo. |
| 23 | Or longtemps après les Juifs conspirèrent ensemble pour le faire mourir. | And when many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel together to kill him: | Molti giorni dopo, i Giudei si consultarono assieme per ucciderlo. |
| 24 | Mais leurs embûches vinrent à la connaissance de Saul. Or ils gardaient les portes jour et nuit, afin de le faire mourir. | but their plot became known to Saul. And they watched the gates also day and night that they might kill him: | Ma il loro complotto venne a conoscenza di Saulo. Or essi facevano la guardia alle porte, giorno e notte, per poterlo uccidere; |
| 25 | Mais les disciples le prenant de nuit, le descendirent par la muraille, en le dévalant dans une corbeille. | but his disciples took him by night, and let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket. | allora i discepoli lo presero di notte e lo calarono giù dalle mura dentro una cesta. |
| 26 | Et quand Saul fut venu à Jérusalem, il tâchait de se joindre aux disciples; mais tous le craignaient, ne croyant pas qu'il fût disciple. | And when he was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: and they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple. | Giunto a Gerusalemme, Saulo cercava di unirsi ai discepoli, ma avevano tutti paura di lui, non potendo credere che egli fosse un discepolo. |
| 27 | Mais Barnabas le prit, et le mena aux Apôtres, et leur raconta comment par le chemin il avait vu le Seigneur, qui lui avait parlé, et comment il avait parlé franchement à Damas au Nom de Jésus. | But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly in the name of Jesus. | Allora Barnaba lo prese e lo condusse dagli apostoli, e raccontò loro come egli, lungo la strada, aveva visto il Signore che gli aveva parlato, e come a Damasco aveva parlato con franchezza nel nome di Gesù. |
| 28 | Et il était avec eux à Jérusalem, se montrant publiquement. | And he was with them going in and going out at Jerusalem, | Così egli rimase con loro a Gerusalemme, andando e venendo, e parlava con franchezza nel nome del Signore Gesù. |
| 29 | Et parlant sans déguisement au Nom du Seigneur Jésus, il disputait contre les Grecs; mais ils tâchaient de le faire mourir. | preaching boldly in the name of the Lord: and he spake and disputed against the Grecian Jews; but they were seeking to kill him. | Egli parlava anche e discuteva con gli ellenisti; ma essi cercavano di ucciderlo. |
| 30 | Ce que les frères ayant connu ils le menèrent à Césarée, et l'envoyèrent à Tarse. | And when the brethren knew it, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus. | I fratelli però, venuti a conoscenza di questo, lo condussero a Cesarea e di là lo mandarono a Tarso. |
| 31 | Ainsi donc les Eglises par toute la Judée, la Galilée, et la Samarie étaient en paix, étant édifiées, et marchant dans la crainte du Seigneur; et elles étaient multipliées par la consolation du Saint-Esprit. | So the church throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, being edified; and, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, was multiplied. | Così le chiese in tutta la Giudea, la Galilea e la Samaria avevano pace ed erano edificate. E, camminando nel timore del Signore e nella consolazione dello Spirito Santo, moltiplicavano. |
| 32 | Or il arriva que comme Pierre les visitait tous, il vint aussi vers les Saints qui demeuraient à Lydde. | And it came to pass, as Peter went throughout all parts, he came down also to the saints that dwelt at Lydda. | Or avvenne che, mentre Pietro percorreva tutto il paese, venne anche dai santi che abitavano a Lidda. |
| 33 | Et il trouva là un homme nommé Enée, qui depuis huit ans était couché dans un petit lit; car il était paralytique. | And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had kept his bed eight years; for he was palsied. | Qui trovò un uomo di nome Enea che già da otto anni giaceva in un letto, perché era paralitico. |
| 34 | Et Pierre lui dit: Enée, Jésus-Christ te guérisse! lève-toi, et fais ton lit; et sur-le-champ il se leva. | And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ healeth thee: arise and make thy bed. And straightway he arose. | Pietro gli disse: Enea, Gesù, il Cristo, ti guarisce; alzati e rifatti il letto. Ed egli subito si alzò. |
| 35 | Et tous ceux qui habitaient à Lydde et à Saron, le virent; et ils furent convertis au Seigneur. | And all that dwelt at Lydda and in Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord. | E tutti gli abitanti di Lidda e di Saron lo videro e si convertirono al Signore. |
| 36 | Or il y avait à Joppe une femme disciple, nommée Tabitha, qui signifie en Grec Dorcas, laquelle était pleine de bonnes oeuvres et d'aumônes qu'elle faisait. | Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did. | Or in Ioppe c'era una discepola di nome Tabitha, che significa Gazzella ella faceva molte buone opere e molte elemosine. |
| 37 | Et il arriva en ces jours-là qu'elle tomba malade, et mourut; et quand ils l'eurent lavée, ils la mirent dans une chambre haute. | And it came to pass in those days, that she fell sick, and died: and when they had washed her, they laid her in an upper chamber. | Or avvenne in quei giorni che ella si ammalò e morì. Dopo averla lavata, fu posta in una stanza al piano superiore. |
| 38 | Et parce que Lydde était près de Joppe, les disciples ayant appris que Pierre était à Lydde, ils envoyèrent vers lui deux hommes, le priant qu'il ne tardât point de venir chez eux. | And as Lydda was nigh unto Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men unto him, entreating him, Delay not to come on unto us. | E, poiché Lidda era vicina a Ioppe, i discepoli, udito che Pietro si trovava là gli mandarono due uomini per pregarlo di venire da loro senza indugio. |
| 39 | Et Pierre s'étant levé, s'en vint avec eux; et quand il fut arrivé, ils le menèrent en la chambre haute; et toutes les veuves se présentèrent à lui en pleurant, et montrant combien Dorcas faisait de robes et de vêtements, quand elle était avec elles. | And Peter arose and went with them. And when he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them. | Pietro dunque si alzò e partì con loro. Appena giunse, lo condussero nella stanza di sopra; tutte le vedove si presentarono a lui piangendo e gli mostrarono tutte le tuniche e le vesti che Gazzella faceva, mentre era con loro. |
| 40 | Mais Pierre après les avoir fait tous sortir, se mit à genoux, et pria; puis se tournant vers le corps, il dit: Tabitha, lève-toi. Et elle ouvrit ses yeux, et voyant Pierre, elle se rassit. | But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down and prayed; and turning to the body, he said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes; and when she saw Peter, she sat up. | Pietro allora, fatti uscire tutti, si pose in ginocchio e pregò. Poi, rivoltosi al corpo, disse: Tabitha, alzati!. Ed ella aprì gli occhi e, visto Pietro, si mise a sedere. |
| 41 | Et il lui donna la main, et la leva; puis ayant appelé les Saints et les veuves, il la leur présenta vivante. | And he gave her his hand, and raised her up; and calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive. | Egli le diede la mano e l'aiutò ad alzarsi, e, chiamati i santi e le vedove, la presentò loro in vita. |
| 42 | Et cela fut connu dans tout Joppe; et plusieurs crurent au Seigneur. | And it became known throughout all Joppa: and many believed on the Lord. | La cosa fu risaputa per tutta Ioppe, e molti credettero nel Signore. |
| 43 | Et il arriva qu'il demeura plusieurs jours à Joppe, chez un certain Simon corroyeur. | And it came to pass, that he abode many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner. | E Pietro, rimase a Ioppe parecchi giorni, in casa di un certo Simone, conciatore di pelli. |
