| 4 | Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. | Si tu l'eusses gardée, ne te demeurait-elle pas? et étant vendue, n'était-elle pas en ta puissance? Pourquoi as-tu formé un tel dessein dans ton coeur? tu n'as pas menti aux hommes mais à Dieu. | Se questo restava invenduto, non rimaneva tuo? E il ricavato della vendita non era forse a tua disposizione? Perché ti sei messo in cuore questa cosa? Tu non hai mentito agli uomini, ma a Dio!. |
| 5 | And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. | Et Ananias entendant ces paroles, tomba, et rendit l'esprit; ce qui causa une grande crainte à tous ceux qui en entendirent parler. | All'udire queste cose, Anania cadde e spirò. | 8 | And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? | 9 | Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. | Alors Pierre lui dit: pourquoi avez-vous fait un complot entre vous de tenter l'Esprit du Seigneur? voilà à la porte les pieds de ceux qui ont enterré ton mari, et ils t'emporteront. | Allora Pietro le disse: Perché vi siete messi d'accordo di tentare lo Spirito del Signore? | 10 | Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. | Et au même instant elle tomba à ses pieds, et rendit l'esprit. Et quand les jeunes hommes furent entrés, ils la trouvèrent morte, et ils l'emportèrent dehors, et l'enterrèrent auprès de son mari. | In quel momento ella cadde ai suoi piedi e spirò. | 12 | And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. | Et beaucoup de prodiges et de miracles se faisaient parmi le peuple par les mains des Apôtres; et ils étaient tous d'un accord au portique de Salomon. | Or molti segni e prodigi erano fatti fra il popolo per le mani degli apostoli. | 21 | And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought. | Ce qu'ayant entendu, ils entrèrent dès le point du jour dans le Temple, et ils enseignaient. | 24 | Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow. | Et quand le souverain Sacrificateur, et le Capitaine du Temple, et les principaux Sacrificateurs, eurent ouï ces paroles, ils furent fort en peine sur leur sujet, ne sachant ce que cela deviendrait. | Ora, come il sommo sacerdote, il comandante del tempio e i capi dei sacerdoti udirono queste cose, rimasero perplessi nei loro confronti, non sapendo che cosa significasse tutto questo. |

| 26 | Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned. | Alors le Capitaine du Temple avec les huissiers s'en alla, et il les amena sans violence: car ils craignaient d'être lapidés par le peuple. | Allora il comandante del tempio andò con le guardie e li ricondusse, senza far loro violenza, per paura di essere lapidati dal popolo. |
| 27 | And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, | Et les ayant amenés, ils les présentèrent au Conseil. Et le souverain Sacrificateur les interrogea, | Così essi li portarono e li presentarono davanti al sinedrio e il sommo sacerdote li interrogò, |
| 28 | Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us. | Disant: ne vous avons-nous pas défendu expressément de n'enseigner point en ce Nom? et cependant voici, vous avez rempli Jérusalem de votre doctrine, et vous voulez faire venir sur nous le sang de cet homme. | dicendo: Non vi abbiamo severamente proibito di insegnare in questo nome? | 34 | Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space; | Mais un Pharisien nommé Gamaliel, Docteur de la Loi, honoré de tout le peuple, se levant dans le Conseil, commanda que les Apôtres se retirassent dehors pour un peu de temps. | Ma un certo fariseo, di nome Gamaliele, un dottore della legge onorato da tutto il popolo, si alzò in piedi nel sinedrio e comandò di far uscire un momento gli apostoli. |
| 35 | And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men. | Puis il leur dit: hommes Israélites, prenez garde à ce que vous devrez faire touchant ces gens. | Poi disse a quelli del sinedrio: Uomini d'Israele, badate bene a ciò che state per fare a questi uomini. |
| 36 | For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought. | Car avant ce temps-ci s'éleva Theudas, se disant être quelque chose, auquel se joignit un nombre d'hommes d'environ quatre cents; mais il a été défait, et tous ceux qui s'étaient joints à lui ont été dissipés et réduits à rien. | Poiché un po' di tempo fa sorse Teuda, che diceva di essere qualcuno; accanto a lui si raccolsero circa quattrocento uomini; ma egli fu ucciso, e tutti coloro che l'avevano seguito furono dispersi. |
| 37 | After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed. | Après lui parut Judas le Galiléen aux jours du dénombrement, et il attira à lui un grand peuple; mais celui-ci aussi est péri, et tous ceux qui s'étaient joints à lui ont été dispersés. | Dopo di lui, al tempo del censimento, sorse Giuda il Galileo che trascinò dietro a sé molta gente; anch'egli perì, e tutti coloro che lo seguirono furono dispersi. |
| 38 | And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: | Maintenant donc je vous dis: ne continuez plus vos poursuites contre ces hommes, et laissez-les: car si cette entreprise ou cette oeuvre est des hommes, elle sera détruite; | Ora dunque io vi dico state alla larga da questi uomini e lasciateli stare, perché se questo progetto o quest'opera è dagli uomini sarà distrutta, |
| 39 | But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God. | Mais si elle est de Dieu, vous ne la pourrez détruire; et prenez garde que même vous ne soyez trouvés faire la guerre à Dieu. | 40 | And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. | Puis ayant appelé les Apôtres, ils leur commandèrent, après les avoir fouettés, de ne parler point au Nom de Jésus; après quoi ils les laissèrent aller. | Ed essi gli diedero ascolto.
