| 17 | Au bout de trois jours, Paul convoqua les principaux des Juifs ; et, quand ils furent réunis, il leur adressa ces paroles : Hommes frères, sans avoir rien fait contre le peuple ni contre les coutumes de nos pères, j'ai été mis en prison à Jérusalem et livré de là entre les mains des Romains. | And it came to pass, that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews together: and when they were come together, he said unto them, Men and brethren, though I have committed nothing against the people, or customs of our fathers, yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans. | Tre giorni dopo, Paolo chiamò i capi dei Giudei. | 23 | Ils lui fixèrent un jour, et plusieurs vinrent le trouver dans son logis. Paul leur annonça le royaume de Dieu, en rendant témoignage, et en cherchant, par la loi de Moïse et par les prophètes, à les persuader de ce qui concerne Jésus. L'entretien dura depuis le matin jusqu'au soir. | And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening. | Avendogli fissato un giorno, vennero in gran numero da lui nel suo alloggio; ed egli, da mattina a sera, esponeva e testimoniava loro del regno di Dio e, tramite la legge di Mosè e i profeti, cercava di persuaderli sulle cose che riguardano Gesù. |

| 25 | Comme ils se retiraient en désaccord, Paul n'ajouta que ces mots : C'est avec raison que le Saint Esprit, parlant à vos pères par le prophète Ésaïe, a dit : | And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers, | Or essendo in disaccordo gli uni con gli altri, se ne andarono, ma non prima che Paolo avesse detto queste precise parole: Lo Spirito Santo ben parlò ai nostri padri per mezzo del profeta Isaia, |
