| 3 | Surtout parce que tu connais toutes leurs coutumes et leurs discussions; je te prie donc de m'écouter avec indulgence. | especially because thou art expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews: wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently. | soprattutto perché tu conosci tutte le usanze e le questioni che ci sono tra i Giudei; ti prego perciò di ascoltarmi con pazienza. |
| 4 | Pour ce qui est de la vie que j'ai menée, depuis ma jeunesse, telle qu'elle s'est écoulée dès le commencement, au sein de ma nation, à Jérusalem, elle est connue de tous les Juifs. | My manner of life then from my youth up, which was from the beginning among mine own nation and at Jerusalem, know all the Jews; | Ora quale sia stato il mio modo di vivere fin dalla giovinezza, che ho trascorsa interamente a Gerusalemme in mezzo al mio popolo, tutti i Giudei lo sanno. |
| 5 | Car ils savent, dès l'origine, s'ils veulent en rendre témoignage, que j'ai vécu Pharisien, suivant la secte la plus rigide de notre religion. | having knowledge of me from the first, if they be willing to testify, that after the straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee. | Essi mi hanno conosciuto fin d'allora e possono testimoniare, se lo vogliono che son vissuto come fariseo, secondo la più rigida setta della nostra religione. |

| 7 | Et dont nos douze tribus, qui servent Dieu continuellement nuit et jour, attendent l'accomplissement. C'est pour cette espérance, roi Agrippa, que je suis accusé par les Juifs. | unto which [promise] our twelve tribes, earnestly serving [God] night and day, hope to attain. And concerning this hope I am accused by the Jews, O king! | quella promessa che le nostre dodici tribù, che servono Dio con fervore giorno e notte, sperano di ottenere; per questa speranza, o re Agrippa, io sono accusato dai Giudei. |

| 9 | Il est vrai que, pour moi, j'avais cru devoir m'opposer fortement au nom de Jésus de Nazareth. | I verily thought with myself that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. | Io stesso ritenni essere mio dovere far molte cose contro il nome di Gesù il Nazareno. |
| 10 | C'est aussi ce que je fis à Jérusalem. Je mis en prison plusieurs saints, ayant reçu ce pouvoir des principaux sacrificateurs, et lorsqu'on les faisait mourir, j'y donnais mon suffrage. | And this I also did in Jerusalem: and I both shut up many of the saints in prisons, having received authority from the chief priests, and when they were put to death I gave my vote against them. | E questo è ciò che feci in Gerusalemme, avendone ricevuto l'autorità dai capi dei sacerdoti, rinchiusi nelle prigioni molti santi e, quando erano messi a morte, io davo il mio assenso. |
| 11 | Puis les châtiant fréquemment dans toutes les synagogues, je les contraignais à blasphémer; et transporté d'une extrême rage contre eux, je les persécutais jusque dans les villes étrangères. | And punishing them oftentimes in all the synagogues, I strove to make them blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto foreign cities. | E spesse volte, andando da una sinagoga all'altra, li costrinsi a bestemmiare e, grandemente infuriato contro di loro, li perseguitai fin nelle città straniere. |

| 14 | Et étant tous tombés par terre, j'entendis une voix qui me parlait, et me disait, en langue hébraïque: Saul, Saul, pourquoi me persécutes-tu? Il te serait dur de regimber contre les aiguillons. | And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice saying unto me in the Hebrew language, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the goad. | Essendo noi tutti caduti a terra, udii una voce che mi parlava e mi disse in lingua ebraica: "Saulo, Saulo, perché mi perseguiti? Ti è duro recalcitrare contro i pungoli". |

| 18 | Pour leur ouvrir les yeux, et les faire passer des ténèbres à la lumière, et de l'empire de Satan à Dieu, afin que par la foi en moi, ils reçoivent la rémission des péchés, et qu'ils aient part à l'héritage des saints. | to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me. | per aprir loro gli occhi e convertirli dalle tenebre alla luce e dalla potestà di Satana a Dio, affinché ricevano mediante la fede in me il perdono dei peccati e un'eredità tra i santificati |
| 19 | C'est pourquoi, roi Agrippa, je n'ai point résisté à la vision céleste; | Wherefore, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: | Perciò, o re Agrippa, io non sono stato disubbidiente alla celeste visione. |
| 20 | Mais j'ai prêché premièrement à ceux de Damas, et puis à Jérusalem, et dans toute la Judée, et aux Gentils, de se repentir, et de se convertir à Dieu, en faisant des ouvres dignes de la repentance. | but declared both to them of Damascus first and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the country of Judaea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance. | Ma prima a quelli in Damasco, poi a Gerusalemme. in tutta la regione della Giudea e ai gentili, ho annunziato di ravvedersi e di convertirsi a Dio, facendo opere degne di ravvedimento. |
| 21 | C'est pour cela que les Juifs, m'ayant pris dans le temple, ont cherché à me tuer. | For this cause the Jews seized me in the temple, and assayed to kill me. | Per queste cose i Giudei, dopo avermi preso nel tempio tentarono di uccidermi. |
| 22 | Mais, secouru de Dieu, j'ai subsisté jusqu'à aujourd'hui, portant témoignage devant les petits et les grands, et ne disant rien d'autre que ce que les prophètes et Moïse ont prédit devoir arriver, | Having therefore obtained the help that is from God, I stand unto this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses did say should come; | Ma, per l'aiuto ottenuto da Dio fino a questo giorno ho continuato a testimoniare a piccoli e grandi, non dicendo nient'altro se non ciò che i profeti e Mosè dissero che doveva avvenire, |
| 23 | Savoir que le Christ devait souffrir, et que, prémices de la résurrection des morts, il devait annoncer la lumière au peuple et aux Gentils. | how that the Christ must suffer, [and] how that he first by the resurrection of the dead should proclaim light both to the people and to the Gentiles. | cioè: che il Cristo avrebbe sofferto e che, essendo il primo a risuscitare dai morti, avrebbe annunziato la luce al popolo e ai gentili. |
| 24 | Comme il parlait ainsi pour sa défense, Festus d'une voix forte dit: Tu as perdu le sens, Paul, ton grand savoir te met hors de sens. | And as he thus made his defense, Festus saith with a loud voice, Paul, thou art mad; thy much learning is turning thee mad. | Ora, mentre Paolo diceva queste cose a sua difesa, Festo disse ad alta voce: Paolo, tu farnetichi; le molte lettere ti fanno uscire di senno. |
| 25 | Mais Paul dit: Je n'ai point perdu le sens, très excellent Festus; mais je dis des choses vraies et sensées. | But Paul saith, I am not mad, most excellent Festus; but speak forth words of truth and soberness. | Ma egli disse: Io non farnetico, eccellentissimo Festo, ma proferisco parole di verità e di buon senno. |
| 26 | Le roi les connaît; et je lui en parle avec hardiesse, parce que je suis persuadé qu'il n'en ignore rien, car elles n'ont point été faites en cachette. | For the king knoweth of these things, unto whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things is hidden from him; for this hath not been done in a corner. | Infatti il re, al quale parlo con franchezza, è ben informato su queste cose, poiché sono convinto che nessuna di queste cose gli sia sconosciuta, perché tutto questo non è stato fatto in segreto. |
| 27 | Roi Agrippa, ne crois-tu pas aux prophètes? Je sais que tu y crois. | King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest. | O re Agrippa, credi ai profeti? Io so che ci credi. |
| 28 | Et Agrippa dit à Paul: Tu me persuades presque d'être chrétien. | And Agrippa [said] unto Paul, With but little persuasion thou wouldest fain make me a Christian. | Allora Agrippa disse a Paolo: Ancora un po' e mi persuadi a diventare cristiano. |
| 29 | Paul lui dit: Plût à Dieu que non seulement toi, mais encore tous ceux qui m'écoutent aujourd'hui, vous fussiez et presque et tout à fait comme moi, à la réserve de ces liens! | And Paul [said], I would to God, that whether with little or with much, not thou only, but also all that hear me this day, might become such as I am, except these bonds. | Paolo disse: Volesse Dio che in poco o molto tempo non solo tu, ma anche tutti quelli che oggi mi ascoltano, diventaste tali, quale sono io, all'infuori di queste catene. |
| 30 | Paul ayant dit cela, le roi, le gouverneur et Bérénice, et ceux qui étaient assis avec eux, se levèrent. | And the king rose up, and the governor, and Bernice, and they that sat with them: | Dette queste cose, il re si alzò e con lui il governatore, Berenice e quelli che sedevano con loro. |
| 31 | Et en se retirant, ils se disaient entre eux: Cet homme n'a rien fait qui soit digne de la mort ou de la prison. | and when they had withdrawn, they spake one to another, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds. | Ritiratisi in disparte, parlavano tra di loro e dicevano: Quest'uomo non ha fatto nulla che meriti la morte o la prigione. |
| 32 | Et Agrippa dit à Festus: Cet homme pouvait être relâché, s'il n'en eût point appelé à César. | And Agrippa said unto Festus, This man might have been set at liberty, if he had not appealed unto Caesar. | Allora Agrippa disse a Festo: Quest'uomo poteva essere liberato, se non si fosse appellato a Cesare |
