| 3 | Et surtout parce que je sais que tu as une entière connaissance de toutes les coutumes et questions qui sont entre les Juifs: c'est pourquoi je te prie de m'écouter avec patience. | especially because thou art expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews: wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently. | soprattutto perché tu conosci tutte le usanze e le questioni che ci sono tra i Giudei; ti prego perciò di ascoltarmi con pazienza. |
| 4 | Pour ce qui est donc de la vie que j'ai menée dès ma jeunesse, telle qu'elle a été du commencement parmi ma nation à Jérusalem, tous les Juifs savent ce qui en est. | My manner of life then from my youth up, which was from the beginning among mine own nation and at Jerusalem, know all the Jews; | Ora quale sia stato il mio modo di vivere fin dalla giovinezza, che ho trascorsa interamente a Gerusalemme in mezzo al mio popolo, tutti i Giudei lo sanno. |
| 5 | Car ils savent depuis longtemps, s'ils en veulent rendre témoignage, que dès mes ancêtres j'ai vécu Pharisien, selon la secte la plus exacte de notre Religion. | having knowledge of me from the first, if they be willing to testify, that after the straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee. | Essi mi hanno conosciuto fin d'allora e possono testimoniare, se lo vogliono che son vissuto come fariseo, secondo la più rigida setta della nostra religione. |
| 6 | Et maintenant je comparais en jugement pour l'espérance de la promesse que Dieu a faite à nos pères; | And now I stand [here] to be judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers; | Ed ora mi trovo in giudizio per la speranza della promessa fatta da Dio ai nostri padri, |
| 7 | A laquelle nos douze Tribus, qui servent Dieu continuellement nuit et jour, espèrent de parvenir; et c'est pour cette espérance, ô Roi Agrippa! que je suis accusé par les Juifs. | unto which [promise] our twelve tribes, earnestly serving [God] night and day, hope to attain. And concerning this hope I am accused by the Jews, O king! | quella promessa che le nostre dodici tribù, che servono Dio con fervore giorno e notte, sperano di ottenere; per questa speranza, o re Agrippa, io sono accusato dai Giudei. |
| 8 | Quoi, tenez-vous pour une chose incroyable que Dieu ressuscite les morts? | Why is it judged incredible with you, if God doth raise the dead? | Perché mai ritenete incredibile che Dio risusciti i morti? |
| 9 | Il est vrai que pour moi, j'ai cru qu'il fallait que je fisse de grands efforts contre le Nom de Jésus le Nazarien. | I verily thought with myself that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. | Io stesso ritenni essere mio dovere far molte cose contro il nome di Gesù il Nazareno. |
| 10 | Ce que j'ai aussi exécuté dans Jérusalem, car j'ai fait prisonniers plusieurs des Saints, après en avoir reçu le pouvoir des principaux Sacrificateurs, et quand on les faisait mourir j'y donnais ma voix. | And this I also did in Jerusalem: and I both shut up many of the saints in prisons, having received authority from the chief priests, and when they were put to death I gave my vote against them. | E questo è ciò che feci in Gerusalemme, avendone ricevuto l'autorità dai capi dei sacerdoti, rinchiusi nelle prigioni molti santi e, quando erano messi a morte, io davo il mio assenso. |
| 11 | Et souvent par toutes les Synagogues en les punissant, je les contraignais de blasphémer, et étant transporté de fureur contre eux, je les persécutais jusque dans les villes étrangères. | And punishing them oftentimes in all the synagogues, I strove to make them blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto foreign cities. | E spesse volte, andando da una sinagoga all'altra, li costrinsi a bestemmiare e, grandemente infuriato contro di loro, li perseguitai fin nelle città straniere. |

| 13 | Je vis, ô Roi! par le chemin en plein midi, une lumière du ciel, plus grande que la splendeur du soleil, laquelle resplendit autour de moi, et de ceux qui étaient en chemin avec moi. | at midday, O king, I saw on the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them that journeyed with me. | a mezzogiorno, o re, sulla strada io vidi una luce dal cielo più splendente del sole, sfolgorare intorno a me e a quelli che viaggiavano con me. |
| 14 | Et étant tous tombés à terre, j'entendis une voix qui me parlait, et qui disait en Langue Hébraïque: Saul, Saul, pourquoi me persécutes-tu? il t'est dur de regimber contre les aiguillons. | And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice saying unto me in the Hebrew language, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the goad. | Essendo noi tutti caduti a terra, udii una voce che mi parlava e mi disse in lingua ebraica: "Saulo, Saulo, perché mi perseguiti? Ti è duro recalcitrare contro i pungoli". |
| 15 | Alors je dis: qui es-tu, Seigneur? et il répondit: Je suis Jésus que tu persécutes. | And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. | Io dissi: "Chi sei tu, Signore?". Egli disse: "Io sono Gesù, che tu perseguiti. |
| 16 | Mais lève-toi, et te tiens sur tes pieds: car ce que je te suis apparu, c'est pour t'établir ministre et témoin, tant des choses que tu as vues, que de celles pour lesquelles je t'apparaîtrai; | But arise, and stand upon thy feet: for to this end have I appeared unto thee, to appoint thee a minister and a witness both of the things wherein thou hast seen me, and of the things wherein I will appear unto thee; | Ma alzati e stà in piedi, perché per questo ti sono apparso: per costituirti ministro e testimone delle cose che tu hai visto e di quelle per le quali io ti apparirò, |
| 17 | En te délivrant du peuple, et des Gentils, vers lesquels je t'envoie maintenant, | delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom I send thee, | liberandoti dal popolo e dai gentili, ai quali ora ti mando, |
| 18 | Pour ouvrir leurs yeux afin qu'ils soient convertis des ténèbres à la lumière, et de la puissance de Satan à Dieu; et qu'ils reçoivent la rémission de leurs péchés, et leur part avec ceux qui sont sanctifiés par la foi qu'ils ont en moi. | to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me. | per aprir loro gli occhi e convertirli dalle tenebre alla luce e dalla potestà di Satana a Dio, affinché ricevano mediante la fede in me il perdono dei peccati e un'eredità tra i santificati |
| 19 | Ainsi, ô Roi Agrippa! je n'ai point été rebelle à la vision céleste. | Wherefore, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: | Perciò, o re Agrippa, io non sono stato disubbidiente alla celeste visione. |
| 20 | Mais j'ai annoncé premièrement à ceux qui étaient à Damas, et puis à Jérusalem, et par tout le pays de Judée, et aux Gentils, qu'ils se repentissent, et se convertissent à Dieu, en faisant des oeuvres convenables à la repentance. | but declared both to them of Damascus first and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the country of Judaea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance. | Ma prima a quelli in Damasco, poi a Gerusalemme. in tutta la regione della Giudea e ai gentili, ho annunziato di ravvedersi e di convertirsi a Dio, facendo opere degne di ravvedimento. |
| 21 | C'est pour cela que les Juifs m'ayant pris dans le Temple ont tâché de me tuer; | For this cause the Jews seized me in the temple, and assayed to kill me. | Per queste cose i Giudei, dopo avermi preso nel tempio tentarono di uccidermi. |
| 22 | Mais ayant été secouru par l'aide de Dieu, je suis vivant jusqu'à ce jour, rendant témoignage aux petits et aux grands, et ne disant rien que ce que les Prophètes et Moïse ont prédit devoir arriver. | Having therefore obtained the help that is from God, I stand unto this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses did say should come; | Ma, per l'aiuto ottenuto da Dio fino a questo giorno ho continuato a testimoniare a piccoli e grandi, non dicendo nient'altro se non ciò che i profeti e Mosè dissero che doveva avvenire, |
| 23 | Savoir, qu'il fallait que le Christ souffrît, et qu'il fût le premier des ressuscités pour porter la lumière au peuple et aux Gentils. | how that the Christ must suffer, [and] how that he first by the resurrection of the dead should proclaim light both to the people and to the Gentiles. | cioè: che il Cristo avrebbe sofferto e che, essendo il primo a risuscitare dai morti, avrebbe annunziato la luce al popolo e ai gentili. |
| 24 | Et comme il parlait ainsi pour sa défense, Festus dit à haute voix: tu es hors du sens, Paul! ton grand savoir dans les lettres te met hors du sens. | And as he thus made his defense, Festus saith with a loud voice, Paul, thou art mad; thy much learning is turning thee mad. | Ora, mentre Paolo diceva queste cose a sua difesa, Festo disse ad alta voce: Paolo, tu farnetichi; le molte lettere ti fanno uscire di senno. |
| 25 | Et Paul dit: je ne suis point hors du sens, très-excellent Festus; mais je dis des paroles de vérité et de sens rassis. | But Paul saith, I am not mad, most excellent Festus; but speak forth words of truth and soberness. | Ma egli disse: Io non farnetico, eccellentissimo Festo, ma proferisco parole di verità e di buon senno. |
| 26 | Car le Roi a la connaissance de ces choses; et je parle hardiment devant lui, parce que j'estime qu'il n'ignore rien de ces choses: car ceci n'a point été fait en secret. | For the king knoweth of these things, unto whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things is hidden from him; for this hath not been done in a corner. | Infatti il re, al quale parlo con franchezza, è ben informato su queste cose, poiché sono convinto che nessuna di queste cose gli sia sconosciuta, perché tutto questo non è stato fatto in segreto. |
| 27 | Ô Roi Agrippa! crois-tu aux Prophètes? je sais que tu y crois. | King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest. | O re Agrippa, credi ai profeti? Io so che ci credi. |
| 28 | Et Agrippa répondit à Paul: tu me persuades à peu près d'être Chrétien. | And Agrippa [said] unto Paul, With but little persuasion thou wouldest fain make me a Christian. | Allora Agrippa disse a Paolo: Ancora un po' e mi persuadi a diventare cristiano. |
| 29 | Et Paul lui dit: je souhaiterais devant Dieu que non-seulement toi, mais aussi tous ceux qui m'écoutent aujourd'hui, devinssent non seulement à peu près, mais parfaitement, tels que je suis, hormis ces liens. | And Paul [said], I would to God, that whether with little or with much, not thou only, but also all that hear me this day, might become such as I am, except these bonds. | Paolo disse: Volesse Dio che in poco o molto tempo non solo tu, ma anche tutti quelli che oggi mi ascoltano, diventaste tali, quale sono io, all'infuori di queste catene. |
| 30 | Paul ayant dit ces choses, le Roi se leva, avec le Gouverneur et Bérénice, et ceux qui étaient assis avec eux. | And the king rose up, and the governor, and Bernice, and they that sat with them: | Dette queste cose, il re si alzò e con lui il governatore, Berenice e quelli che sedevano con loro. |
| 31 | Et quand ils se furent retirés à part, ils conférèrent entre eux, et ils dirent: cet homme n'a rien commis qui soit digne de mort, ou de prison. | and when they had withdrawn, they spake one to another, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds. | Ritiratisi in disparte, parlavano tra di loro e dicevano: Quest'uomo non ha fatto nulla che meriti la morte o la prigione. |
| 32 | Et Agrippa dit à Festus: cet homme pouvait être relâché s'il n'avait point appelé à César. | And Agrippa said unto Festus, This man might have been set at liberty, if he had not appealed unto Caesar. | Allora Agrippa disse a Festo: Quest'uomo poteva essere liberato, se non si fosse appellato a Cesare |
