| 5 | Nous avons trouvé cet homme, qui est une peste, qui sème la discorde parmi tous les Juifs répandus dans le monde, et qui est le chef de la secte des Nazaréens, | For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of insurrections among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes: | Noi abbiamo trovato che quest'uomo è una peste e suscita sedizioni fra tutti i Giudei che sono nel mondo, ed è capo della setta dei Nazareni. |

Nous l'avions saisi, et nous voulions le juger selon notre loi; | who moreover assayed to profane the temple: on whom also we laid hold: [and we would have judged him according to our law.] | Egli ha perfino tentato di profanare il tempio; per questo noi l'abbiamo preso e lo volevamo giudicare secondo la nostra legge. |

Tu pourras apprendre toi-même de lui, en l'interrogeant, toutes les choses dont nous l'accusons. | [commanding his accusers to come before thee.] from whom thou wilt be able, by examining him thyself, to take knowledge of all these things whereof we accuse him. | ordinando ai suoi accusatori di venire da te, esaminandolo, potrai tu stesso sapere da lui la verità su tutte le cose di cui l'accusiamo. |
| 9 | Les Juifs se joignirent aussi à l'accusation, en disant que les choses étaient ainsi. | And the Jews also joined in the charge, affirming that these things were so. | I Giudei si associarono anch'essi nelle accuse, affermando che le cose stavano così. |
| 10 | Mais Paul, après que le gouverneur lui eut fait signe de parler, répondit: Sachant que tu es juge de cette nation depuis plusieurs années, je parle pour ma défense avec plus de confiance; | And when the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, Paul answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I cheerfully make my defense: | Allora Paolo, dopo che il governatore gli fece cenno di parlare, rispose: Sapendo che da molti anni tu sei giudice di questa nazione, con più coraggio parlo a mia difesa. |
| 11 | Car tu peux savoir qu'il n'y a pas plus de douze jours que je suis monté à Jérusalem pour adorer. | Seeing that thou canst take knowledge that it is not more than twelve days since I went up to worship at Jerusalem: | Non più di dodici giorni fa come tu puoi verificare, io salii a Gerusalemme per adorare. |
| 12 | Ils ne m'ont point trouvé dans le temple disputant avec qui que ce soit, ou attroupant le peuple dans les synagogues, ou dans la ville, | and neither in the temple did they find me disputing with any man or stirring up a crowd, nor in the synagogues, nor in the city. | Or essi non mi hanno trovato nel tempio a disputare con alcuno, o a incitare la folla né nelle sinagoghe né per la città; |
| 13 | Et ils ne sauraient prouver les choses dont ils m'accusent maintenant. | Neither can they prove to thee the things whereof they now accuse me. | né possono provare le cose delle quali ora mi accusano. |

| 21 | A moins que ce ne soit de cette seule parole que j'ai dite hautement, au milieu d'eux: Aujourd'hui je suis mis en cause par vous à propos de la résurrection des morts. | except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question before you this day. | a meno che sia per questa sola parola che io gridai stando in piedi in mezzo a loro: E' a motivo della risurrezione dei morti che oggi vengo giudicato da voi. |
| 22 | Félix, ayant entendu cela, les ajourna parce qu'il savait mieux à quoi s'en tenir sur ce qui concernait la doctrine, et il dit: Quand le tribun Lysias sera descendu, j'examinerai votre affaire. | But Felix, having more exact knowledge concerning the Way, deferred them, saying, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will determine your matter. | Quando udì queste cose, Felice, che era ben informato sulla Via, rinviò il processo, dicendo: Quando verrà il tribuno Lisia, prenderò in esame il vostro caso. |
| 23 | Et il commanda à un centenier de garder Paul, mais de lui laisser quelque liberté, et de n'empêcher aucun des siens de le servir ou de l'approcher. | And he gave order to the centurion that he should be kept in charge, and should have indulgence; and not to forbid any of his friends to minister unto him. | E ordinò al centurione che Paolo fosse custodito, ma che avesse una certa libertà, senza impedire a nessuno dei suoi di prestargli dei servizi o di venire a trovarlo. |
| 24 | Quelques jours après, Félix étant venu avec Drusille, sa femme, qui était Juive, envoya chercher Paul, et l'entendit sur la foi en Christ. | But after certain days, Felix came with Drusilla, his wife, who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ Jesus. | Alcuni giorni dopo Felice, venuto con Drusilla sua moglie che era giudea, mandò a chiamare Paolo e l'ascoltò intorno alla fede in Cristo Gesù. |
| 25 | Et comme Paul discourait sur la justice, la continence et le jugement à venir, Félix, effrayé, lui dit: Pour le moment retire-toi, et quand j'en trouverai l'occasion, je te rappellerai. | And as he reasoned of righteousness, and self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was terrified, and answered, Go thy way for this time; and when I have a convenient season, I will call thee unto me. | E siccome Paolo parlava di giustizia, di autocontrollo e del giudizio futuro, Felice, tutto spaventato, rispose: Per il momento va' quando avrò opportunità, ti manderò a chiamare. |
| 26 | Il espérait aussi que Paul lui donnerait de l'argent, afin qu'il le mît en liberté; c'est pourquoi il l'envoyait chercher souvent pour s'entretenir avec lui. | He hoped withal that money would be given him of Paul: wherefore also he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him. | Nel medesimo tempo egli sperava che Paolo gli avrebbe dato del denaro perché lo liberasse; e per questo lo faceva spesso chiamare e conversava con lui. |
| 27 | Deux ans s'écoulèrent ainsi, et Félix eut pour successeur Porcius Festus; et voulant faire plaisir aux Juifs, Félix laissa Paul en prison. | But when two years were fulfilled, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus; and desiring to gain favor with the Jews, Felix left Paul in bonds. | Ma dopo due anni, Felice ebbe come successore Porcio Festo; e Felice, volendo far cosa grata ai Giudei, lasciò Paolo in prigione. |
