Et à l'instant une obscurité et des ténèbres tombèrent sur lui; et se tournant de tous côtés, il cherchait quelqu'un qui le conduisît par la main. | And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. I am not [he]. But behold, there cometh one after me the shoes of whose feet I am not worthy to unloose. | E, come Giovanni stava per finire la sua missione, disse: "Chi pensate voi che io sia? | 34 | Or qu'il l'ait ressuscité d'entre les morts, pour ne devoir plus retourner à la corruption, il l'a dit ainsi: "Je vous donnerai les grâces assurées de David". | And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he hath spoken on this wise, I will give you the holy and sure [blessings] of David. | E poiché lo ha risuscitato dai morti per non tornare più nella corruzione, egli ha detto così: "Io vi darò le fedeli promesse fatte a Davide". |

| 38 | Sachez donc, hommes frères, que par lui vous est annoncée la rémission des péchés, | Be it known unto you therefore, brethren, that through this man is proclaimed unto you remission of sins: | Vi sia dunque noto, fratelli, che per mezzo di lui vi è annunziato il perdono dei peccati, |

| 41 | Voyez, contempteurs, et étonnez-vous, et soyez anéantis; car moi, je fais une oeuvre en vos jours, une oeuvre que vous ne croiriez point, si quelqu'un vous la racontait. | Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish; For I work a work in your days, A work which ye shall in no wise believe, if one declare it unto you. | Guardate, o sprezzatori, meravigliatevi e siate consumati, perché io compio un'opera ai vostri giorni, un'opera che non credereste, se qualcuno ve la raccontasse. |
| 42 | Et comme ils sortaient, ils demandèrent que ces paroles leur fussent annoncées le sabbat suivant. | And as they went out, they besought that these words might be spoken to them the next sabbath. | Ora, quando i Giudei furono usciti dalla sinagoga, i gentili li pregarono che il sabato seguente fossero loro proposte le stesse cose. |
| 43 | Et la synagogue s'étant dissoute, plusieurs des Juifs et des prosélytes qui servaient Dieu suivirent Paul et Barnabas, qui leur parlant, les exhortaient à persévérer dans la grâce de Dieu. | Now when the synagogue broke up, many of the Jews and of the devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas; who, speaking to them, urged them to continue in the grace of God. | E, dopo che fu sciolta la riunione molti fra i Giudei e pii proseliti seguirono Paolo e Barnaba, i quali, parlando loro, li persuasero a perseverare nella grazia di Dio. |

| 50 | Mais les Juifs excitèrent les femmes de qualité qui servaient Dieu et les principaux de la ville; et ils suscitèrent une persécution contre Paul et Barnabas, et les chassèrent de leur territoire. | But the Jews urged on the devout women of honorable estate, and the chief men of the city, and stirred up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and cast them out of their borders. | Ma i Giudei istigarono le donne pie di alto rango e i notabili della città e suscitarono una persecuzione contro Paolo e Barnaba, e li scacciarono dai loro confini. |
