| 5 | J'étais en prière dans la ville de Joppe, lorsque étant ravi en extase, j'eus une vision; je vis descendre du ciel un vaisseau comme une grande nappe retenue par les quatre coins, et qui vint jusqu'à moi. | I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, a certain vessel descending, as it were a great sheet let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even unto me: | Io stavo pregando nella città di Ioppe, quando fui rapito in estasi ed ebbi una visione: un oggetto, simile a un gran lenzuolo tenuto per i quattro capi, scendeva come se fosse calato giù dal cielo e giunse fino a me. |
| 6 | Et l'ayant considéré avec attention, j'y vis les quadrupèdes de la terre, les bêtes sauvages, les reptiles et les oiseaux du ciel. | upon which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw the fourfooted beasts of the earth and wild beasts and creeping things and birds of the heaven. | Guardandovi attentamente dentro scorsi e vidi quadrupedi, fiere, rettili della terra e uccelli del cielo. |

| 8 | Et je répondis: Non, Seigneur; car jamais rien d'impur ni de souillé n'entra dans ma bouche. | But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath ever entered into my mouth. | Ma io dissi: "Niente affatto, Signore, poiché non mi è mai entrato in bocca nulla di impuro o di contaminato". |
| 9 | La voix me parla du ciel une seconde fois, et dit: Ne regarde pas comme souillé ce que Dieu a purifié. | But a voice answered the second time out of heaven, What God hath cleansed, make not thou common. | Ma la voce mi rispose per la seconda volta dal cielo: "Le cose che Dio ha purificato, non farle tu impure". |
| 10 | Et cela se fit jusqu'à trois fois, après quoi tout fut retiré dans le ciel. | And this was done thrice: and all were drawn up again into heaven. | E ciò accadde per tre volte, poi ogni cosa fu di nuovo ritirata in cielo. |
| 11 | Au même instant, trois hommes, qui m'avaient été envoyés de Césarée, se présentèrent devant la maison où j'étais. | And behold, forthwith three men stood before the house in which we were, having been sent from Caesarea unto me. | In quello stesso momento tre uomini, mandati a me da Cesarea, si presentarono alla casa dove mi trovavo. |
| 12 | Et l'Esprit me dit d'aller avec eux, sans faire aucune difficulté. Et les six frères que voilà, vinrent avec moi, et nous entrèrent dans la maison de cet homme, | And the Spirit bade me go with them, making no distinction. And these six brethren also accompanied me; and we entered into the man`s house: | E lo Spirito mi disse di andare con loro, senza avere alcuna esitazione. Or con me vennero anche questi sei fratelli, e così entrammo nella casa di quell'uomo. |
| 13 | Qui nous raconta comment il avait vu l'ange dans sa maison, qui s'était présenté à lui, et lui avait dit: Envoie des gens à Joppe, et fais venir Simon, surnommé Pierre, | and he told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house, and saying, Send to Joppa, and fetch Simon, whose surname is Peter; | Egli ci raccontò come aveva visto presentarsi un angelo in casa sua e dirgli: "Manda degli uomini a Ioppe e fa' chiamare Simone, soprannominato Pietro. |
| 14 | Qui te dira des choses par lesquelles tu seras sauvé, toi et toute ta maison. | who shall speak unto thee words, whereby thou shalt be saved, thou and all thy house. | Egli ti dirà parole, per mezzo delle quali sarai salvato tu e tutta la tua casa". |
| 15 | Et comme je commençais à parler, la Sainte-Présence de Christ descendit sur eux, ainsi qu'elle était aussi descendu sur nous au commencement. | And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, even as on us at the beginning. | Avevo appena cominciato a parlare quando lo Spirito Santo discese su di loro, come era sceso al principio su di noi. |
| 16 | Alors je me souvins de cette parole du Seigneur: Jean a consacré d'eau; mais vous, vous serez engagés uniquement du Saint-Esprit. | And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit. | Mi ricordai allora della parola del Signore che diceva: "Giovanni ha battezzato con acqua, ma voi sarete battezzati con lo Spirito Santo". |
| 17 | Puisque Dieu leur a fait le même don qu'à nous qui avons cru au Seigneur Jésus-Christ, qui étais-je, moi, pour m'opposer à Dieu? | If then God gave unto them the like gift as [he did] also unto us, when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I, that I could withstand God? | Se dunque Dio ha dato loro lo stesso dono che abbiamo ricevuto noi, che abbiamo creduto nel Signore Gesù Cristo, chi ero io da potermi opporre a Dio?. |
| 18 | Alors, ayant entendu ces choses, ils s'apaisèrent et glorifièrent Dieu, en disant: Dieu a donc aussi donné aux Gentils la repentance, afin qu'ils aient la vie. | And when they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then to the Gentiles also hath God granted repentance unto life. | Udite queste cose, essi si calmarono e glorificavano Dio, dicendo: Dio dunque ha concesso il ravvedimento anche ai gentili per ottenere la vita!. |
| 19 | Ceux qui avaient été dispersés par la persécution arrivée à l'occasion d'Étienne, passèrent jusqu'en Phénicie, en Cypre et à Antioche, n'annonçant la Parole à personne qu'aux Juifs seulement. | They therefore that were scattered abroad upon the tribulation that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phoenicia, and Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to none save only to Jews. | Or coloro che erano stati dispersi a motivo della persecuzione iniziata con Stefano, arrivarono fino alla Fenicia, a Cipro e ad Antiochia, annunziando la parola a nessun altro, se non ai soli Giudei. |
| 20 | Mais quelques-uns d'entre eux, qui étaient de Cypre et de Cyrène, étant entrés dans Antioche, parlèrent aux Grecs, leur annonçant l'Évangile du Seigneur Jésus. | But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Greeks also, preaching the Lord Jesus. | Or alcuni di loro originari di Cipro e di Cirene, arrivati ad Antiochia, iniziarono a parlare ai Greci, annunziando il Signore Gesù. |
| 21 | Et la main du Seigneur était avec eux, et un grand nombre crurent et se convertirent au Seigneur. | And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number that believed turned unto the Lord. | E la mano del Signore era con loro; e un gran numero credette e si convertì al Signore. |
| 22 | Or, le bruit en vint aux oreilles de l'Église de Jérusalem; et ils envoyèrent Barnabas pour passer jusqu'à Antioche. | And the report concerning them came to the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas as far as Antioch: | La notizia di questo pervenne agli orecchi della chiesa che era in Gerusalemme; ed essi inviarono Barnaba, perché andasse fino ad Antiochia. |

| 25 | Barnabas s'en alla ensuite à Tarse, pour chercher Saul; | And he went forth to Tarsus to seek for Saul; | Poi Barnaba partì per andare a Tarso in cerca di Saulo e, trovatolo, lo condusse ad Antiochia. |
| 26 | Et l'ayant trouvé, il l'amena à Antioche; et pendant toute une année, ils s'assemblèrent et instruisirent un grand peuple dans l'Appel à Renaître, et ce fut à Antioche que pour la première fois les disciples furent nommés Christiens. | and when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that even for a whole year they were gathered together with the church, and taught much people, and that the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. | E per un anno intero essi si radunarono con la chiesa e ammaestrarono un gran numero di gente; e, per la prima volta ad Antiochia, i discepoli furono chiamati Cristiani. |

| 28 | Et l'un d'eux, nommé Agabus, se leva, et annonça par l'Esprit qu'il y aurait une grande famine par toute la terre; ce qui arriva en effet sous Claude César. | And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be a great famine over all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius. | E uno di loro, di nome Agabo, si alzò e per lo Spirito predisse che ci sarebbe stata una grande carestia in tutto il mondo; e questa avvenne poi sotto Claudio Cesare. |
| 29 | Et les disciples résolurent d'envoyer, chacun selon son pouvoir, un secours aux frères qui demeuraient en Judée. | And the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren that dwelt in Judea: | Allora i discepoli, ciascuno secondo le proprie possibilità, decisero di mandare una sovvenzione ai fratelli che abitavano in Giudea. |
| 30 | Et ils le firent, l'envoyant aux anciens par les mains de Barnabas et de Saul. | which also they did, sending it to the elders by the hand of Barnabas and Saul. | E questo essi fecero, inviandola agli anziani per mezzo di Barnaba e di Saulo. |
