| 15 | Et la voix lui dit encore pour la seconde fois: les choses que Dieu a purifiées, ne les tiens point pour souillées. | And a voice [came] unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, make not thou common. | E la voce gli disse per la seconda volta: Le cose che Dio ha purificate, tu non farle impure. |
| 16 | Et cela arriva jusques à trois fois, et puis le vaisseau se retira au ciel. | And this was done thrice: and straightway the vessel was received up into heaven. | Or questo avvenne per tre volte; poi l'oggetto fu di nuovo ritirato in cielo. |
| 17 | Or comme Pierre était en peine en lui-même, pour savoir quel était le sens de cette vision qu'il avait vue, alors voici, les hommes envoyés par Corneille s'enquérant de la maison de Simon, arrivèrent à la porte. | Now while Peter was much perplexed in himself what the vision which he had seen might mean, behold, the men that were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon`s house, stood before the gate, | E, come Pietro si chiedeva perplesso che cosa potesse significare la visione che aveva avuto, ecco che gli uomini mandati da Cornelio, informatisi della casa di Simone, si presentarono alla porta. |

| 28 | Et il leur dit: vous savez comme il n'est pas permis à un homme Juif de se lier avec un étranger, ou d'aller chez lui, mais Dieu m'a montré que je ne devais estimer aucun homme être impur ou souillé. | and he said unto them, Ye yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to join himself or come unto one of another nation; and [yet] unto me hath God showed that I should not call any man common or unclean: | Ed egli disse loro: Voi sapete come non è lecito a un Giudeo associarsi a uno straniero, o entrare in casa sua; ma Dio mi ha mostrato di non chiamare nessun uomo impuro o contaminato. |

Je vous demande donc pour quel sujet vous m'avez envoyé quérir. | wherefore also I came without gainsaying, when I was sent for. | 30 | Et Corneille lui dit: il y a quatre jours à cette heure-ci, que j'étais en jeûne, et que je faisais la prière à neuf heures dans ma maison; et voici, un homme se présenta devant moi en un vêtement éclatant. | And Cornelius said, Four days ago, until this hour, I was keeping the ninth hour of prayer in my house; and behold, a man stood before me in bright apparel, | E Cornelio rispose: Quattro giorni fa avevo digiunato fino a quest'ora, e all'ora nona pregavo in casa mia, quand'ecco un uomo si presentò davanti a me in veste risplendente, |
| 31 | Et il me dit: Corneille, ta prière est exaucée, et Dieu s'est souvenu de tes aumônes. | and saith, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God. | e disse: "Cornelio, la tua preghiera è stata esaudita e le tue elemosine sono state ricordate davanti a Dio. |
| 32 | Envoie donc à Joppe, et fais venir de là Simon, surnommé Pierre, qui est logé dans la maison de Simon corroyeur, près de la mer, lequel étant venu, te parlera. | Send therefore to Joppa, and call unto thee Simon, who is surnamed Peter; he lodgeth in the house of Simon a tanner, by the sea side. | Manda dunque qualcuno a Ioppe e fa' chiamare Simone, soprannominato Pietro; egli si trova in casa di Simone conciatore di pelli, presso il mare; e, venuto che sarà, egli ti parlerà". |

Or maintenant nous sommes tous présents devant Dieu pour entendre tout ce que Dieu t'a commandé de nous dire. | Forthwith therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. | 47 | Alors Pierre prenant la parole, dit: qu'est-ce qui pourrait s'opposer à ce que ceux-ci, qui ont reçu comme nous le Saint-Esprit, ne soient baptisés d'eau. | Can any man forbid the water, that these should not be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we? | Può alcuno vietare l'acqua, perché siano battezzati costoro che hanno ricevuto lo Spirito Santo proprio come noi?. |
| 48 | Il commanda donc qu'ils fussent baptisés au Nom du Seigneur. Alors ils le prièrent de demeurer là quelques jours. | And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
