| 3 | David smote also Hadadezer, the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his border at the river Euphrates. | David battit aussi Hadadhézer fils de Réhob, Roi de Tsoba, comme il allait pour recouvrer ses limites sur le fleuve d'Euphrate. |

| 14 | And he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom put he garrisons, and all they of Edom became David's servants. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went. | Et il mit garnison dans l'Idumée, il mit, dis-je, garnison dans toute l'Idumée; et tous les Iduméens furent assujettis à David; et l'Eternel gardait David partout où il allait. |
