| 3 | Et Nathan dit au roi: Va, fais tout ce qui est dans ton coeur, car l'Éternel est avec toi. | And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thy heart; for Jehovah is with thee. | Nathan rispose al re: Va', fa' tutto ciò che hai in cuore di fare, perché l'Eterno è con te. |
| 4 | Et il arriva, cette nuit-là, que la parole de l'Éternel vint à Nathan, disant: | And it came to pass the same night, that the word of Jehovah came unto Nathan, saying, | Ma quella stessa notte la parola dell'Eterno fu rivolta a Nathan in questo modo: |
| 5 | Va, et dis à mon serviteur, à David: Ainsi dit l'Éternel: Me bâtirais-tu une maison pour que j'y habite? | Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith Jehovah, Shalt thou build me a house for me to dwell in? | Va' a dire al mio servo Davide: Così dice l'Eterno: "Mi costruirai tu una casa perché io vi dimori? |
| 6 | car je n'ai pas habité dans une maison, depuis le jour où j'ai fait monter les fils d'Israël hors d'Égypte, jusqu'à ce jour; mais j'ai marché çà et là dans une tente et dans un tabernacle. | for I have not dwelt in a house since the day that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle. | Poiché io non ho dimorato in una casa, dal giorno in cui ho fatto uscire i figli d'Israele dall'Egitto fino ad oggi, ma ho vagato sotto una tenda e in un tabernacolo. |
| 7 | Partout où j'ai marché au milieu de tous les fils d'Israël, ai-je dit un mot à quelqu'une des tribus d'Israël à laquelle j'ai commandé de paître mon peuple Israël, en disant: Pourquoi ne me bâtissez-vous pas une maison de cèdres? | In all places wherein I have walked with all the children of Israel, spake I a word with any of the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to be shepherd of my people Israel, saying, Why have ye not built me a house of cedar? | Dovunque sono andato in mezzo a tutti i figli d'Israele, ho forse mai parlato ad alcuna delle tribù a cui avevo comandato di pascere il mio popolo d'Israele dicendo: Perché non mi edificate una casa di cedro?". |
| 8 | Et maintenant tu diras ainsi à mon serviteur, à David: Ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées: Je t'ai pris des parcs, d'auprès du menu bétail, pour que tu fusses prince sur mon peuple, sur Israël; | Now therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be prince over my people, over Israel; | Ora dunque dirai così al mio servo Davide: Così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti: "Io ti presi dall'ovile, mentre seguivi le pecore, perché tu fossi il capo d'Israele, mio popolo. |
| 9 | et j'ai été avec toi partout où tu as marché; et j'ai retranché tous tes ennemis de devant toi, et je t'ai fait un grand nom, comme le nom des grands qui sont sur la terre. | and I have been with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee; and I will make thee a great name, like unto the name of the great ones that are in the earth. | Sono stato con te dovunque sei andato, ho sterminato tutti i tuoi nemici davanti a te e ho reso il tuo nome grande come quello dei grandi che sono sulla terra. |
| 10 | Et j'ai établi un lieu à mon peuple, à Israël, et je le planterai, et il habitera chez lui, et ne sera plus agité; et les fils d'iniquité ne l'affligeront plus comme au commencement, | And I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place, and be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as at the first, | Assegnerò un posto ad Israele mio popolo, e ve lo pianterò perché dimori in casa sua e non sia più disturbato, e i malvagi non continuino ad opprimerlo come nel passato, |
| 11 | et depuis le jour où j'ai établi des juges sur mon peuple Israël. Et je t'ai donné du repos de tous tes ennemis; et l'Éternel t'annonce que l'Éternel te fera une maison. | and [as] from the day that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel; and I will cause thee to rest from all thine enemies. Moreover Jehovah telleth thee that Jehovah will make thee a house. | dal giorno in cui ho stabilito dei giudici sul mio popolo Israele. Ti darò riposo da tutti i tuoi nemici. Inoltre l'Eterno ti dichiara che egli ti costruirà una casa. |
| 12 | Quand tes jours seront accomplis et que tu dormiras avec tes pères, je susciterai après toi ta semence, qui sortira de tes entrailles, et j'affermirai son royaume. | When thy days are fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, that shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. | Quando i tuoi giorni saranno compiuti e tu riposerai con i tuoi padri, io innalzerò dopo di te la tua discendenza che uscirà dalle tue viscere e stabilirò il suo regno. |
| 13 | Lui, bâtira une maison à mon nom; et j'affermirai le trône de son royaume pour toujours. | He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. | Egli edificherà una casa al mio Nome e io renderò stabile per sempre il trono del suo regno. |
| 14 | Moi, je lui serai pour père, et lui me sera pour fils: s'il commet l'iniquité, je le châtierai avec une verge d'hommes et avec des plaies des fils des hommes; | I will be his father, and he shall be my son: if he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men; | Io sarò per lui un padre ed egli mi sarà un figlio; quando farà del male, lo castigherò con verga d'uomo e con colpi di figli d'uomini, |
| 15 | mais ma bonté ne se retirera point de lui, comme je l'ai retirée d'avec Saül, que j'ai ôté de devant toi. | but my lovingkindness shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. | ma la mia misericordia non si allontanerà, come l'ho ritirata da Saul, che io ho rimosso davanti a te. |
| 16 | Et ta maison et ton royaume seront rendus stables à toujours devant toi, ton trône sera affermi pour toujours. | And thy house and thy kingdom shall be made sure for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever. | La tua casa e il tuo regno saranno resi saldi per sempre davanti a me e il tuo trono sarà reso stabile per sempre" |
| 17 | Nathan parla ainsi à David, selon toutes ces paroles et selon toute cette vision. | According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David. | Nathan parlò a Davide secondo tutte queste parole e secondo tutta questa visione. |
| 18 | Et le roi David entra et s'assit devant l'Éternel, et dit: Qui suis-je, Seigneur Éternel! et quelle est ma maison, que tu m'aies amené jusqu'ici? | Then David the king went in, and sat before Jehovah; and he said, Who am I, O Lord Jehovah, and what is my house, that thou hast brought me thus far? | Allora il re Davide andò a sedersi davanti all'Eterno e disse: Chi sono io o Signore, o Eterno, e che cos'è la mia casa, da farmi arrivare fino qui? |
| 19 | Et encore cela a été peu de chose à tes yeux, Seigneur Éternel! et tu as même parlé de la maison de ton serviteur pour un long avenir. Est-ce là la manière de l'homme, Seigneur Éternel? | And this was yet a small thing in thine eyes, O Lord Jehovah; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant`s house for a great while to come; and this [too] after the manner of men, O Lord Jehovah! | Ma questo era ancora poca cosa ai tuoi occhi, o Signore, o Eterno, perché tu hai parlato anche della casa del tuo servo per un lontano futuro; e questa è la legge dell'uomo, o Signore, o Eterno. |
| 20 | Et David, que pourrait-il te dire de plus? Et toi, Seigneur Éternel, tu connais ton serviteur. | And what can David say more unto thee? for thou knowest thy servant, O Lord Jehovah. | Che potrebbe dirti di più, Davide? Tu conosci il tuo servo, o Signore, o Eterno! |
| 21 | C'est à cause de ta parole, et selon ton coeur, que tu as fait toute cette grande chose, pour la faire connaître à ton serviteur. | For thy word`s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou wrought all this greatness, to make thy servant know it. | Per amore della tua parola e secondo il tuo cuore hai compiuto tutte queste grandi cose per farle conoscere al tuo servo. |
| 22 | C'est pourquoi, Éternel Dieu! tu t'es montré grand, car il n'y en a point comme toi, et il n'y a point de Dieu si ce n'est toi, selon tout ce que nous avons entendu de nos oreilles. | Wherefore thou art great, O Jehovah God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God besides thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. | Per questo sei grande, o Eterno, o DIO. Nessuno è come te e non c'è altro DIO fuori di te, secondo tutto ciò che abbiamo udito con i nostri orecchi. |
| 23 | Et qui est comme ton peuple, comme Israël, seule nation sur la terre que Dieu soit allé racheter, afin qu'elle lui soit un peuple, et pour se faire un nom à lui-même, et pour opérer en leur faveur cette grande chose, et des choses terribles, pour ton pays, devant ton peuple, que tu t'es racheté d'Égypte, des nations et de leurs dieux? | And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem unto himself for a people, and to make him a name, and to do great things for you, and terrible things for thy land, before thy people, whom thou redeemest to thee out of Egypt, [from] the nations and their gods? | E chi è come il tuo popolo, come Israele, l'unica nazione sulla terra che DIO è venuto a riscattare per sé come suo popolo per farsi un nome, e per compiere per te cose grandi e tremende per la tua terra davanti al tuo popolo che hai riscattato per te dall'Egitto, dalle nazioni dei loro dèi? |
| 24 | Et tu t'es établi ton peuple Israël pour peuple, à toujours; et toi, Éternel, tu es devenu leur Dieu. | And thou didst establish to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever; and thou, Jehovah, becamest their God. | Tu hai stabilito per te il tuo popolo d'Israele per essere tuo popolo per sempre; e tu, o Eterno, sei divenuto il suo DIO. |
| 25 | Et maintenant, Éternel Dieu! confirme pour toujours la parole que tu as prononcée touchant ton serviteur et touchant sa maison, et fais comme tu as dit; | And now, O Jehovah God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, confirm thou it for ever, and do as thou hast spoken. | E ora, o Eterno, o DIO, la parola che hai pronunziato riguardo al tuo servo e alla sua casa rendila stabile per sempre e fa' come hai detto, |
| 26 | et que ton nom soit magnifié à toujours, de sorte qu'on dise: L'Éternel des armées est Dieu sur Israël. Et que la maison de ton serviteur David soit affermie devant toi! | And let thy name be magnified for ever, saying, Jehovah of hosts is God over Israel; and the house of thy servant David shall be established before thee. | affinché il tuo nome sia magnificato per sempre e si dica: "L'Eterno degli eserciti è il DIO d'Israele". E la casa del tuo servo Davide sia resa stabile davanti a te! |
| 27 | Car toi, Éternel des armées, Dieu d'Israël, tu as révélé à ton serviteur, disant: Je te bâtirai une maison; c'est pourquoi ton serviteur a trouvé son coeur pour te faire cette prière. | For thou, O Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee a house: therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee. | Poiché tu, o Eterno degli eserciti, DIO d'Israele, hai rivelato questo al tuo servo, dicendo: "Io ti edificherò una casa". Per questo il tuo servo ha trovato il coraggio di rivolgerti questa preghiera. |
| 28 | Et maintenant, Seigneur Éternel, toi, tu es Dieu, et tes paroles sont vraies, et tu as dit ce bien à ton serviteur. | And now, O Lord Jehovah, thou art God, and thy words are truth, and thou hast promised this good thing unto thy servant: | E ora, o Signore, o Eterno, tu sei DIO, le tue parole sono verità, e hai promesso queste belle cose al tuo servo. |
| 29 | Et maintenant, qu'il te plaise de bénir la maison de ton serviteur, afin qu'elle soit à toujours devant toi; car toi, Seigneur Éternel, tu as parlé; et que la maison de ton serviteur soit bénie de ta bénédiction pour toujours. | now therefore let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee; for thou, O Lord Jehovah, hast spoken it: and with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed for ever. | Ora perciò degnati di benedire la casa del tuo servo, affinché sussista per sempre davanti a te, perché tu, o Signore, o Eterno, hai parlato, e per la tua benedizione la casa del tuo servo sarà benedetta per sempre!. |
